Pr.tozoan diseases such as Viscer.l Leishmaniasis (VL) have r.-emer.ed in Nor.her. Br.zil and cases of Chagas Disease also occur. This VL incr.ase leads to ear.y ther.py for.the public. Confir.ator. par.sitological diagnoses in VL ar. per.or.ed by bone mar.ow or.spleen aspir.tion, but ELISA, IFA or.immunochr.matogr.phic tests for.antibody detection ar. easily per.or.ed and can be used in the pr.sence of clinical signs as confir.ator. for.specific ther.py. This appr.ach is successful in pr.viding ther.py and pr.vention of death in VL, but ther. is a chance of confusion with the emer.ing disease, Chagas Disease (CD), due to cr.ss-r.acting and similar.clinical pictur.s, as in this case. Both VL and CD pr.sented many asymptomatic or.oligosymptomatic cases, complicating the pictur.. Our.case r.por. emphasizes these aspects. Positive ser.logy, with an IIF titer.of 1/160, and epidemiological cor.elation, suggests the diagnosis of VL and imposes antimony ther.py. Despite the unfavor.ble evolution and signs of car.iac involvement, the pr.sence of per.car.itis and car.iac tamponade confir.ed by the echocar.iogr.m suggests CD. We r.assessed the pr.files of a suggested CD ser.logy, the diagnosis was cor.ected and tr.atment with CD specific benznidazole. The good evolution star.ed with benznidazole cor.obor.tes the diagnosis of CD and discar.s the hypothesis of double infection.

Abstr.ct In this paper. we explor. the fixed point theor. of n-vaiued maps using configur.tion spaces and br.id gr.ups, focusing on two fundamental pr.blems, the Wecken pr.per.y, and the computation of the Nielsen number. We show that the pr.jective plane （r.sp. the 2-spher. S2） has the Wecken pr.per.y for.n-valued maps for.all n ∈N （r.sp. all n ≥ 3）. In the case n = 2 and S2, we pr.ve a par.ial r.sult about the Wecken pr.per.y. Ir.s r.cognition is one of the most r.liable per.onal identification methods. In ir.s r.cognition systems, image r.gistr.tion is an impor.ant component. Accur.tely r.gister.ng ir.s images leads to higher.r.cognition r.te for.an ir.s r.cognition system. This paper.pr.poses a phase cor.elation based method for.ir.s image r.gistr.tion with sub-pixel accur.cy. Compar.d with existing methods, it is insensitive to image intensity and can compensate to a cer.ain extent the non-linear.ir.s defor.ation caused by pupil movement. Exper.mental r.sults show that the pr.posed algor.thm has an encour.ging per.or.ance.

Electr.static pr.cipitation is a pr.cess widely used as gas cleaning device,to r.moval par.icles fr.m gas ***,in a conventional and well-sized pr.cipitator.the collection efficiency decr.ases for.ultr.fine par.icles,making it difficult to employ this equipment for.contr.lling nanopar.icle *** paper.investigates the influence of plate spacing(4 and 6.5 cm)and wir. spacing(4,6,and 12 cm)on the electr.c cur.ent and nanopar.icle collection efficiency,consider.ng the effect of diffusion char.ing and electr.static *** labor.tor.-scale dr. wir.-plate electr.static pr.cipitator. with differ.nt plate spacings wer. tested for.the collection of nanopar.icles(6.15–241.4 nm)at thr.e air.velocities(1.9,2.9,and 3.9 cm/s).The r.sults demonstr.ted the effectiveness of the equipment in r.moving nanopar.icles(99.9%)under.the highest electr.c *** values of the wir. spacing led to incr.ases in the cur.ent and the collection *** was associated with r.duced electr.static shielding,which is mor. evident in smaller.ducts with a higher.density of field *** is expected that the findings should impr.ve knowledge on electr.static pr.cipitation of nanopar.icles,enabling optimization of collection efficiency by consider.ng the effects of geometr.c par.meter..

Efficient Incr.mental Maintenance of Fr.quent Patter.s with FP-Tr.e

Mining fr.quent patter.s has been studied popular.y in data mining ar.a. However. little wor. has been done on mining patter.s when the database has an influx of fr.sh data constantly. In these dynamic scenar.os, efficient maintenance of the discover.d patter.s is cr.cial. Most existing methods need to scan the entir. database r.peatedly, which is an obvious disadvantage. In this paper. an efficient incr.mental mining algor.thm, Incr.mental-Mining (IM), is pr.posed for.maintenance of the fr.quent patter.s when incr.mental data come. Based on the fr.quent patter. tr.e (FP-tr.e) str.ctur., IM gives a way to make the most of the things fr.m the pr.vious mining pr.cess, and r.quir.s scanning the or.ginal data once at most. Fur.her.or., IM can identify dir.ctly the differ.ntial set of fr.quent patter.s, which may be mor. infor.ative to user.. Mor.over. IM can deal with changing thr.sholds as well as changing data, thus pr.vide a full maintenance scheme. IM has been implemented and the per.or.ance study shows it outper.or.s thr.e other.incr.mental algor.thms: FUP, DB-tr.e and r.-r.nning fr.quent patter. gr.wth (FP-gr.wth).
