Manipulating high-temperature superconductivity by oxygen doping in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ thin flakes

Harnessing the fascinating properties of correlated oxides requires precise control of their carrier *** to other methods,oxygen doping provides an effective and more direct way to tune the electronic properties of correlated *** several approaches,such as thermal annealing and oxygen migration,have been introduced to change the oxygen content,a continuous and reversible solution that can be integrated with modern electronic technology is much in ***,we report a novel ionic field-effect transistor using solid Gd-doped CeO2as the gate dielectric,which shows a remarkable carrier-density-tuning ability via electric-field-controlled oxygen concentration at room *** Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ(Bi-2212) thin flakes,we achieve a reversible superconductor-insulator transition by driving oxygen ions in and out of the samples with electric fields,and map out the phase diagram all the way from the insulating regime to the over-doped superconducting regime by continuously changing the oxygen doping *** analysis indicates that the reversible superconductor-insulator transition for the Bi-2212 thin flakes follows the theoretical description of a two-dimensional quantum phase *** work provides a route for realizing electric-field control of phase transition in correlated ***,the configuration of this type of transistor makes heterostructure/interface engineering possible,thus having the potential to serve as the next-generation all-solid-state field-effect transistor.

Understanding the normal electronic state is crucial for unveiling the mechanism of unconventional superconductivity(SC). In this paper, by applying a magnetic field of up to 37T on FeSe single crystals, we could reveal the normal-state transport properties after SC was completely suppressed. The normal-state resistivity exhibited a Fermi liquid behavior at low temperatures. Large orbital magnetoresistance(MR) was observed in the nematic state with H//c, whereas MR was negligible with H//ab. The magnitude of the orbital MR showed an unusual reduction, and Kohler’s rule was severely violated below 10-25 K;these were attributable to spin fluctuations. The results indicated that spin fluctuations played a paramount role in the normalstate transport properties of FeSe albeit the Fermi liquid nature was at low temperature.

Microplastic pollution has become one of the most concerned focuses in the *** many treatment methods,photocatalysis is considered to be one of the most environmentally friendly *** this work,the photodegradation behavior of polyamide microplastics is studied by using polyamide 6(PA6)as model microplastics and FeCl_(3) as *** is hoped that the PA6 fiber can be effectively degraded by utilizing the strong oxidizing active species that can be produced after FeCl_(3) is irradiated in *** results shows that PA6 fiber can be almost completely degraded after 10 days of irradiation in FeCl_(3) aqueous solution,indicating that it is promising to use this new method to solve the problem of PA6type *** addition,the chain scission mechanism and degradation process of PA6 are analyzed in detail by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS),which provides a new insight for the study of polymer degradation mechanism.

Quaternary palynology plays a pivotal role in investigating global climate change and various other research fields,serving as an essential tool for the quantitative analysis of paleoenvironment ***,due to the vast diversity of terrestrial ecosystems and intricate interactions between vegetation,climate,and human activities,further advancements are required in the following aspects within this discipline.(1)The accuracy of classification in pollen morphology and fossil pollen identification needs improvement,particularly at the species *** represents a significant challenge in present Quaternary ***-aided intelligent recognition holds promise as a solution for species identification based on more detail pollen morphology.(2)Most pollen-based vegetation and climate reconstructions overlook the significance of bare *** bare ground can lead to substantial inaccuracies when quantitatively reconstructing past vegetation and climate.(3)While pollen records provide reliable information on paleoclimate changes,current quantitative climate reconstruction models heavily rely on modern pollen datasets derived from present-day vegetation disturbed more or less by human *** introduces bias and uncertainties into paleoclimate reconstruction.(4)Although pollen can serve as an indicator of human activities,accurately quantifying the intensity of human influence remains *** accurate identification of crop pollen,reconstructing reliable land cover/use data,and integrating multidisciplinary data may enhance the identification and quantification of signals related to human activity in pollen records.

Let pi : (X, T) -> (Y, S) be a factor map between two topological dynamical systems, and F a Furstenberg family of Z. We introduce the notion of relative broken F-sensitivity. Let F-s (resp. F-pubd, F-inf) be the families consisting of all syndetic subsets (resp. positive upper Banach density subsets, infinite subsets). We show that for a factor map pi : (X, T) -> (Y, S) between transitive systems, p is relatively broken F-sensitive for F = F-s or F-pubd if and only if there exists a relative sensitive pair which is an F-recurrent point of (R-pi, T-(2)); is relatively broken F inf -sensitive if and only if there exists a relative sensitive pair which is not asymptotic. For a factor map p : (X, T) ->(Y, S) between minimal systems, we get the structure of relative broken F-sensitivity by the factor map to its maximal equicontinuous factor.

Three-dimensional finite element simulation and reconstruction of jointed rock models using CT scanning and photogrammetry

The geometry of joints has a significant influence on the mechanical properties of *** simplify the curved joint shapes in rocks,the joint shape is usually treated as straight lines or planes in most laboratory experiments and numerical *** this study,the computerized tomography (CT) scanning and photogrammetry were employed to obtain the internal and surface joint structures of a limestone sample,*** describe the joint geometry,the edge detection algorithms and a three-dimensional (3D) matrix mapping method were applied to reconstruct CT-based and photogrammetry-based jointed rock *** comparison tests,the numerical uniaxial compression tests were conducted on an intact rock sample and a sample with a joint simplified to a plane using the parallel computing *** results indicate that the mechanical characteristics and failure process of jointed rocks are significantly affected by the geometry of *** presence of joints reduces the uniaxial compressive strength (UCS),elastic modulus,and released acoustic emission (AE) energy of rocks by 37%–67%,21%–24%,and 52%–90%,*** to the simplified joint sample,the proposed photogrammetry-based numerical model makes the most of the limited geometry information of *** UCS,accumulative released AE energy,and elastic modulus of the photogrammetry-based sample were found to be very close to those of the CT-based *** UCS value of the simplified joint sample (i.e.38.5 MPa) is much lower than that of the CT-based sample (i.e.72.3 MPa).Additionally,the accumulative released AE energy observed in the simplified joint sample is 3.899 times lower than that observed in the CT-based *** scanning provides a reliable means to visualize the joints in rocks,which can be used to verify the reliability of photogrammetry *** application of the photogrammetry-based sample enables detailed analysis for estimating the mechanical properties of jointed rocks.

ContextAug:model-domain failing test augmentation with contextual information

In the process of software development,the ability to localize faults is crucial for improving the efficiency of *** speaking,detecting and repairing errant behavior at an early stage of the development cycle considerably reduces costs and development *** have tried to utilize various methods to locate the faulty ***,failing test cases usually account for a small portion of the test suite,which inevitably leads to the class-imbalance phenomenon and hampers the effectiveness of fault ***,in this work,we propose a new fault localization approach named *** obtaining dynamic execution through test cases,ContextAug traces these executions to build an information model;subsequently,it constructs a failure context with propagation dependencies to intersect with new model-domain failing test samples synthesized by the minimum variability of the minority feature *** contrast to traditional test generation directly from the input domain,ContextAug seeks a new perspective to synthesize failing test samples from the model domain,which is much easier to augment test *** conducting empirical research on real large-sized programs with 13 state-of-the-art fault localization approaches,ContextAug could significantly improve fault localization effectiveness with up to 54.53%.Thus,ContextAug is verified as able to improve fault localization effectiveness.

Persymmetric adaptive polarimetric detection of subspace range-spread targets in compound Gaussian sea clutter

This paper focuses on the adaptive detection of range and Doppler dual-spread targets in non-homogeneous and nonGaussian sea *** sea clutter from two polarimetric channels is modeled as a compound-Gaussian model with different parameters,and the target is modeled as a subspace rangespread target *** persymmetric structure is used to model the clutter covariance matrix,in order to reduce the reliance on secondary data of the designed *** adaptive polarimetric persymmetric detectors are designed based on the generalized likelihood ratio test(GLRT),Rao test,and Wald *** the proposed detectors have constant falsealarm rate property with respect to the clutter texture,the speckle covariance *** results on simulated and measured data show that three adaptive detectors outperform the competitors in different clutter environments,and the proposed GLRT detector has the best detection performance under different parameters.
