Comprehensive Summary,Hyperbranched polysiloxanes have attracted increasing interest due to their unique fluorescence ***,the relatively short emission wavelength and low fluorescence lifetime are still the main obstacles to their broader *** this study,we first synthesized aβ-diketone contained hyperbranched polysiloxane with excitation-dependent multicolor *** through the coordination of HBPSi-NMDEA with Eu^(3+)ion,a hybrid luminescent material was *** exhibited not only aggregation-induced red emission at 613 nm,but also a long fluorescence lifetime of 681.45μ***,it showed highly sensitive reversible fluorescence response to temperature variation,thus displaying the potential to be used in fluorescence temperature detection.

Characterization of Episomal Replication of Bovine Papillomavirus Type 1 DNA in Long-Term Virion-Infected Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Culture

We have previously reported that bovine papillomavirus type 1(BPV-1) DNA can replicate its genome and produce infectious virus-like particles in short term virion-infected S. cerevisiae(budding yeast) cultures(Zhao and Frazer 2002,Journal of Virology, 76:3359–64 and 76:12265–73). Here, we report the episomal replications of BPV-1 DNA in long term virion-infected S. cerevisiae culture up to 108 days. Episomal replications of the BPV-1 DNA could be divided into three patterns at three stages, early active replication(day 3–16), middle weak replication(day 23–34/45) and late stable replication(day 45–82). Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis analysis and Southern blot hybridization have revealed further that multiple replication intermediates of BPV-1 DNA including linear form, stranded DNA, monomers and higher oligomers were detected in the virion-infected yeast cells over the time course. Higher oligomers shown as covalently closed circular DNAs(cccDNAs) are the most important replication intermediates that serve as the main nuclear transcription template for producing all viral RNAs in the viral life cycle. In this study, the cccDNAs were generated at the early active replication stage with the highest frequencies and then at late stable replication, but they appeared to be suppressed at the middle weak replication. Our data provided a novel insight that BPV-1 genomic DNA could replicate episomally for the long period and produce the key replication intermediates cccDNAs in S. cerevisiae system.

Active metasurfaces with dynamically reconfigurable functionalities are highly demanded in various practical ***,we propose a wideband low-scattering metasurface that can realize an in-band reconfigurable transparent window by altering the operation states of the PIN diodes loaded on the *** metasurface is composed of a band-pass frequency selective surface(FSS)sandwiched between two polarization conversion metasurfaces(PCMs).PIN diodes are integrated into the FSS to switch the transparent window,while a checkerboard configuration is applied in PCMs for the diffusive-reflective function.A sample with 20×20 elements is designed,fabricated,and experimentally *** simulated and measured results show that the in-band functions can be dynamically switched between beam-splitting scattering and high transmission by controlling the biasing states of the diodes,while low backscattering can be attained outside the ***,the resonant structures of FSS also play the role of feeding lines,thus significantly eliminating extra interference compared with conventional feeding *** envision that the proposed metasurface may provide new possibilities for the development of an intelligent stealth platform and its antenna applications.

SURFACE STRESS EFFECT IN MECHANICS OF NANOSTRUCTURED MATERIALS

This review article summarizes the advances in the surface stress effect in mechanics of nanostructured elements, including nanoparticles, nanowires, nanobeams, and nanofilms, and heterogeneous materials containing nanoscale inhomogeneities. It begins with the fundamental formulations of surface mechanics of solids, including the definition of surface stress as a surface excess quantity, the surface constitutive relations, and the surface equilibrium equations. Then, it depicts some theoretical and experimental studies of the mechanical properties of nanostructured elements, as well as the static and dynamic behaviour of cantilever sensors caused by the surface stress which is influenced by adsorption. Afterwards, the article gives a summary of the analytical elasto-static and dynamic solutions of a single as well as multiple inhomogeneities embedded in a matrix with the interface stress prevailing. The effect of surface elasticity on the diffraction of elastic waves is elucidated. Due to the difficulties in the analytical solution of inhomogeneities of complex shapes and configurations, finite element approaches have been developed for heterogeneous materials with the surface stress. Surface stress and surface energy are inherently related to crack propagation and the stress field in the vicinity of crack tips. The solutions of crack prob- lems taking into account surface stress effects are also included. Predicting the effective elastic and plastic responses of heterogeneous materials while taking into account surface and interface stresses has received much attention. The advances in this topic are inevitably delineated. Mechanics of rough surfaces appears to deserve special attention due to its theoretical and practical implications. Hypoxia is a major characteristic of the tumor microenvironment,and its effects on immune cells are proposed to be important factors for the process of tumor immune *** has been reported that hypoxia affects the function of dendritic cells and the antitumor function of T *** we discuss the effects of hypoxia on T-cell *** results showed that hypoxia induced apoptosis of T *** and adenosine receptors(AR)are important to the hypoxia-related signaling *** AR agonists and antagonists,we demonstrated that hypoxia-induced apoptosis of T cells was mediated by A^(2a)and A^(2b)***,we are the first,to our knowledge,to report that hypoxia significantly inhibited the expression of chemokine C receptor 7(CCR7)of T cells via the A^(2)R signal pathway,perhaps representing a mechanism of hypoxia-induced apoptosis of T ***,our research demonstrated that hypoxia induces T-cell apoptosis by the A^(2)R signaling pathway partly by suppressing *** the A^(2)R signaling pathway and/or activation of CCR7 can increase the anti-apoptosis function of T cells and may become a new strategy to improve antitumor potential.

Metasurfaces,ultrathin two-dimensional version of metamaterials,have attracted tremendous attention due to their exotic capabilities to freely manipulate electromagnetic *** incorporating various tunable materials or elements into metasurface designs,reconfigurable metasurfaces and related metadevices with functionalities controlled by external stimuli can be realized,opening a new avenue to achieving dynamic manipulation of electromagnetic ***,based on the tunable metasurface concept,reconfigurable intelligent surfaces(RISs)have received significant attention and have been regarded as a promising emerging technology for future wireless communication due to their potential to enhance the capacity and coverage of wireless networks by smartly reconfiguring the wireless propagation ***,in this article,we first focus on technical issues of RIS system implementation by reviewing the existing research contributions,paying special attention to designs in the microwave ***,we showcase our recent attempts to practically demonstrate RIS systems in real-world applications,including deploying reflective RIS systems in indoor scenarios to enhance the wireless network coverage and utilizing intelligent omni-metasurfaces to improve both indoor and through-wall wireless communication ***,we give our own perspectives on possible future directions and existing challenges for RISs toward a truly commercial intelligent technology platform.

采用CPMG序列检测不同注水比例肉样品产生的核磁共振信号,运用反演软件得到每个肉样品的横向弛豫谱及相关参数。选择总峰面积S,自由水比例P_(23)和自由水峰终点对应的横向弛豫时间T_(23e)作为预测变量,对试验数据进行判别分析,建立检测注水肉的Bayes模型。采用回代验证法验证的正确率为94.3%,采用交叉验证法验证的正确率91.4%。该模型可以为肉品监管部门建立快速、准确区分和检测不同注水比例注水肉的方法提供依据。

在分析变压器励磁涌流的影响因素和推导励磁涌流与各影响因素间数学关系的基础上,提出了一种基于合闸电压幅值控制的变压器励磁涌流抑制方案。该方案通过选择适当的合闸电压幅值控制曲线,对合闸电压的幅值进行控制,确保变压器空载合闸过程中产生的磁通不超过饱和磁通,从而达到抑制空载合闸励磁涌流的目的。根据磁通不等式约束与暂态磁通分量衰减规律给出了电压幅值控制函数,并推导了电压幅值控制函数中初值与变化斜率两个参数的上下限。采用PSCAD/EMTDC软件分别对单相和三相变压器不同状态下的空载合闸过程进行了仿真,并对磁通、励磁涌流、差动电流等参数进行了对比分析。仿真结果表明,通过控制合闸电压的幅值达到控制励磁电流大小的目的,能够将励磁涌流控制在数值较小的范围内,从而克服励磁涌流的影响。
