Effects of Organic Selenium on Growth Properties, Selenium Absorption and Utilization, Antioxidant Activity and Immunity in Weaning Piglets

This experiment was conducted to determine the influences of adding organic selenium (Se) on growth properties, Se absorption and utilization, immunity and antioxidant activity in diets of Duroc weaning piglets. This study was performed on 36 (average weight 7.6 kg) weaning piglets. The weaning piglets were randomly allocated to 1 of 4 homogeneous treatments (A, control treatment, no added Se;B, Sodium selenite, 0.3 mg Se/kg feed;C, yeast Se, 0.3 mg Se/kg;D, DL-methionine Se 0.3 mg Se/kg). Every treatment had 3 replicates, every replicate had 3 piglets. The experiment lasted for 35 d, with the first 7 d for adaptation. Feed intake, residual and contaminated feed were recorded every day. Every piglet weight was weighted respectively at beginning and end of experiment. Daily intake, gain weight and feed conversion rates of every replicate were calculated finally. Se concentrations of serum, blood antioxidant and immunity index were analyzed in the 36th d of experiment. The results showed average daily gain of treatment C was significant higher (P 0.05) and D had higher trend than that of treatment A and B (P = 0.06) respectively. And feed and gain ratio of C and D had trends to lower than them of A and B (P = 0.14). However, all the intake of every week and whole period had no significant differences among treatments (P > 0.05). At same time, except for the Immunoglobulin M of treatment D and C was higher than that of treatment A and B significantly (P 0.05). But they took on some obvious trends. For example, the Se contents and glutathione peroxidase activities increased successively in order of treatment A, B, C and D;the blood urea nitrogen and total bilirubin of treatment A had higher trend than that of other treatments (P = 0.06). Securing multi-chain consensus against diverse miner behavior attacks in blockchain networks

As cross-chain technologies enable interactions among different blockchains(hereinafter“chains”),multi-chain consensus is becoming increasingly important in blockchain ***,more attention has been paid to single-chain consensus ***-chain consensus schemes with trusted miner participation have not been considered,thus offering opportunities for malicious users to launch diverse miner behavior(DMB)attacks on different *** attackers can be friendly in the consensus process on some chains,called mask chains,to enhance their trust value,while on others,called kill chains,they engage in destructive behaviors on the *** this paper,we propose a multi-chain consensus scheme named Proof-of-DiscTrust(PoDT)to defend against DMB *** idea of distinctive trust(DiscTrust)is introduced to evaluate the trust value of each user across different *** trustworthiness of a user is split into local and global trust values.A dynamic behavior prediction scheme is designed to enforce DiscTrust to prevent an intensive DMB attacker from maintaining strong trust by alternately creating true or false blocks on the kill *** trusted miner selection algorithms for multi-chain environments can be implemented to select network miners,chain miners,and chain miner leaders,*** results show that PoDT is secure against DMB attacks and more effective than traditional consensus schemes in multi-chain environments.

This article investigates a multi-circular path-following formation control with reinforced transient profiles for nonholonomic vehicles connected by a digraph.A multi-circular formation controller endowed with the feature of spatial-temporal decoupling is devised for a group of vehicles guided by a virtual leader evolving along an implicit path,which allows for a circumnavigation on multiple circles with an anticipant angular *** addition,notice that it typically imposes a stringent time constraint on time-sensitive enclosing scenarios,hence an improved prescribed performance control(IPPC)using novel tighter behavior boundaries is presented to enhance transient capabilities with an ensured appointed-time convergence free from any *** significant merits are that coordinated circumnavigation along different circles can be realized via executing geometric and dynamic assignments independently with modified transient ***,all variables existing in the entire system are analyzed to be *** and experimental results are provided to validate the utility of suggested solution.

This paper proposes a receding horizon defense strategy for a two-dimensional multiplayer reach-avoid game in which the defenders suffer from measurement uncertainties. In this game, the defenders aim at protecting a goal region from the attackers who strive to enter it. The whole game is decomposed to multiple subgames involving one defender and one *** each subgame, a noisy attack region is proposed for the defender to characterize the set of positions that the attacker may reach before the defender. Then, the noisy interception point in the noisy attack region is introduced and used to design a defense winning strategy which prevents the noisy attack region from approaching the goal region. A maximum-matching defense strategy is designed for the defenders to capture as many attackers as possible. Simulation results are presented to validate our results.

Miniaturized fiber-Bragg-grating(FBG)interrogators are of interest for applications in the areas where weight and size controlling is important,e.g.,airplanes and aerospace or in-situ *** ultra-compact high-precision on-chip interrogator is proposed based on a tailored arrayed waveguide grating(AWG)on a silicon-on-insulator(SOI)*** on-chip interrogator enables continuous wavelength interrogation from 1544 nm to 1568 nm with the wavelength accuracy of less than 1 pm[the root-mean-square error(RMSE)is 0.73 pm]over the whole wavelength *** chip loss is less than 5 *** 1×16 AWG is optimized to achieve a large bandwidth and a low noise level at each channel,and the FBG reflection peaks can be detected by multiple output channels of the *** fabricated AWG is utilized to interrogate FBG sensors through the center of gravity(CoG)*** validation of an on-chip FBG interrogator that works with sub-picometer wavelength accuracy in a broad wavelength range shows large potential for applications in miniaturized fiber optic sensing systems.

Accumulated-state-error-based event-triggered sampling scheme and its application to H∞ control of sampled-data systems

This paper is concerned with event-triggered H∞control of sampled-data systems. Its novelties lie in three aspects:（i） A novel accumulated-state-error-based event-triggered scheme is introduced by comparing the integral of the state error from tk to t with the system state sampled at tk. This condition works well due to the fact that the so-called Zeno behaviour does not occur.（ii） A novel Lyapunov functional is constructed to establish a criterion to ensure some certain H∞performance of the closed-loop system. This Lyapunov functional is dependent on the integral of the state error involved in the event-triggered scheme.（iii） Under the event-triggered sampling scheme, suitable state-feedback controllers can be designed rather than be given a priori. Moreover, a self-triggered implementation of the proposed event-triggered sampling scheme is presented as well. Finally, a batch reactor model and an inverted pendulum system are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells(PM-PSCs)possess notable merits in terms of cost-effectiveness,easy manufacturing,and large scale ***,the absence of a hole transport layer contributes to the exacerbation of carrier recombination,and the defects between the perovskite and electron transport layer(ETL)interfaces significantly decrease the efficiency of the *** this study,a bifunctional surface passivation approach is proposed by applying a thioacetamide(TAA)surfactant on the mesoporous TiO_(2)*** results demonstrate that TAA molecules could interact with TiO_(2),thereby diminishing the oxygen vacancy ***,the amino group and sulfur atoms in TAA molecules act as Lewis base to effectively passivate the uncoordinated Pb^(2+)in perovskite and improve the morphology of perovskite,and decrease the trap-state density of *** TAA passivation mechanism improves the alignment of energy levels between TiO_(2)and perovskite,facilitating electron transport and reducing carrier ***,the TAA-passivated device achieved a champion power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 17.86%with a high fill factor(FF)of 79.16%and an open-circuit voltage(V_(OC))of 0.971 *** investigation presents a feasible strategy for interfacial passivation of the ETL to further improve the efficiency of PM-PSCs.
