Prostate-specific antigen （PSA） testing has been widely used to screen men for prostate cancer （PCa） and to monitor PCa progression. However, more studies have shown that around 15% of men with low or normal PSA levels have PCa. In this study, we aimed to investigate the relationship of androgen and PSA levels and to better understand the reason that some PCa patients have low serum PSA values. The in vitro data demonstrated that cultured LNCaP cells ceased to produce PSA after androgen withdrawal and resumed PSA production after androgen was re-added. The in vivo experiment results showed that 48% of PCa xenografts carrying mice have serum PSA level lower than 4 ng ml^-1. The serum PSA levels increased significantly with rises in testosterone （T） levels 1 week after T pellet implantation. These data indicated that the androgen is a key factor controlling the production of PSA. Low serum PSA levels in mice with PCa xenografts are associated with low serum T levels. Raising serum T levels in tumor caring mice will also significantly increase serum PSA level. This may have clinical implications when screening PSA in men, who have occult PCa.

Glutamate excitotoxicity has been shown to play an important role in glaucoma, and glutamate can induce ferroptosis. The p38 mitogenactivated protein kinase(MAPK) pathway inhibitor SB202190 has a potential ability to suppress ferroptosis, and its downstream targets, such as p53, have been shown to be associated with ferroptosis. However, whether ferroptosis also occurs in retinal ganglion cells in response to glutamate excitotoxicity and whether inhibition of ferroptosis reduces the loss of retinal ganglion cells induced by glutamate excitotoxicity remain unclear. This study investigated ferroptosis in a glutamate-induced glaucoma rat model and explored the effects and molecular mechanisms of SB202190 on retinal ganglion cells. A glutamate-induced excitotoxicity model in R28 cells and an N-methyl-D-aspartate-induced glaucoma model in rats were used. In vitro experiments showed that glutamate induced the accumulation of iron and lipid peroxide and morphological changes of mitochondria in R28 cells, and SB202190 inhibited these changes. Glutamate induced the levels of p-p38 MAPK/p38 MAPK and SAT1 and decreased the expression levels of ferritin light chain, SLC7A11, and GPX4. SB202190 inhibited the expression of iron death-related proteins induced by glutamate. In vivo experiments showed that SB202190 attenuated N-methyl-D-aspartate-induced damage to rat retinal ganglion cells and improved visual function. These results suggest that SB202190 can inhibit ferroptosis and protect retinal ganglion cells by regulating ferritin light chain, SAT1, and SLC7A11/Gpx4 pathways and may represent a potential retina protectant.

Atom-level modulation of the coordination environment for single-atom catalysts(SACs)is considered as an effective strategy for elevating the catalytic *** the MNxsite,breaking the symmetrical geometry and charge distribution by introducing relatively weak electronegative atoms into the first/second shell is an efficient way,but it remains challenging for elucidating the underlying mechanism of ***,a practical strategy was reported to rationally design single cobalt atoms coordinated with both phosphorus and nitrogen atoms in a hierarchically porous carbon derived from metal-organic frameworks.X-ray absorption spectrum reveals that atomically dispersed Co sites are coordinated with four N atoms in the first shell and varying numbers of P atoms in the second shell(denoted as Co-N/P-C).The prepared catalyst exhibits excellent oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)activity as well as zinc-air battery *** introduction of P atoms in the Co-SACs weakens the interaction between Co and N,significantly promoting the adsorption process of ^(*)OOH,resulting in the acceleration of reaction kinetics and reduction of thermodynamic barrier,responsible for the increased intrinsic *** discovery provides insights into an ultimate design of single-atom catalysts with adjustable electrocatalytic activities for efficient electrochemical energy conversion.

Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) have been widely used in oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) of fuel cells and metal-air batteries, attributed to their unique structures and compositions. Recently, the preparation of transition-metallic single-atom electrocatalysts(TM-SACs) using MOFs as precursors or templates has made great progress. Herein, the development history of SACs prepared based on MOFs and their characterization are overviewed firstly, and then several strategies are summarized for preparing TM-SACs using MOFs and further modification. Finally, the challenges and opportunities confronted by TM-SACs are fully discussed. Consequently, our work can guide the realization of TM-SACs abundant with high activity, high loading and high stability.

为了研究凝胶推进剂除气工艺过程中的气泡两相流问题,采用Carreau-Yasuda模型描述凝胶的剪切稀化特性,并进一步引入了温度敏感性本构描述。数值上,运用流体体积方法研究了剪切和温度敏感耦合的凝胶中浮力驱动气泡的运动特性和气泡间的相互作用机理,关注了气泡的初始排列、气泡个数以及凝胶温度的影响。研究结果表明,主导气泡的尾流以及底部的低粘区会吸引尾随气泡并加速尾随气泡的上升;水平排列的气泡间由于强涡量场会存在一定的横向排斥力;温度上升带来的黏度下降会加速气泡的融合和上升,并且增强了气泡间的相互作用。

Emma:An accurate,efficient,and multi-modality strategy for autonomous vehicle angle prediction

Autonomous driving and self-driving vehicles have become the most popular selection for customers for their *** angle prediction is one of the most prevalent topics in the autonomous driving industry,that is,realizing real-time vehicle angle ***,existing methods of vehicle angle prediction utilize only single-modal data to achieve model prediction,such as images captured by the camera,which limits the performance and efficiency of the prediction *** this paper,we present Emma,a novel vehicle angle prediction strategy that achieves multi-modal prediction and is more ***,Emma exploits both images and inertial measurement unit(IMU)signals with a fusion network for multi-modal data fusion and vehicle angle ***,we design and implement a few-shot learning module in Emma for fast domain adaptation to varied scenarios(e.g.,different vehicle models).Evaluation results demonstrate that Emma achieves overall 97.5%accuracy in predicting three vehicle angle parameters(yaw,pitch,and roll),which outperforms traditional single-modalities by approximately 16.7%-36.8%.Additionally,the few-shot learning module presents promising adaptive ability and shows overall 79.8%and 88.3%accuracy in 5-shot and 10-shot settings,***,empirical results show that Emma reduces energy consumption by 39.7%when running on the Arduino UNO board.

公式编辑器作为Office办公软件的重要组件,已成为漏洞利用的重灾区。针对此问题,提出一种面向公式对象的恶意文档智能检测方法,通过提取办公文档中的公式对象并转换成图像,将恶意公式对象检测问题转变成图像分类问题,利用深度学习技术实现检测特征的自提取。检测模型在4078个良性样本和1173个恶意样本构成的训练集上进行训练,在1323个良性样本和312个恶意样本上进行测试,恶意样本检测率为99.36%,良性样本零误报,样本平均检测时间约0.5 ms。为检验模型的抗规避能力,在恶意测试样本的基础上采用“加正常”和“去异常”的方式构建相应的对抗样本测试集,实验表明,提出的检测方法具有较强的鲁棒性。
