Simulation of self-recovery and diversity of natural photonic crystal(PC)structures remain great challenges for artificial PC *** by the dynamic characteristics of PC nanostructures,here,we present a new strategy for the design of hydrogel-based artificial PC materials with reversible interactions in the periodic *** dynamic PC hydrogels,derived from self-assembled microgel colloidal crystals,were tactfully constructed by reversible crosslinking of adjacent microgels in the ordered structure via phenylboronate covalent *** proof of concept,three types of dynamic colloidal PC hydrogels with different structural colors were *** the hydrogels showed perfect self-healing ability against physical ***,dynamic crosslinking within the microgel crystals enabled shear-thinning injection of the PC hydrogels through a syringe(indicating injectability or printability),followed by rapid recovery of the structural *** short,in addition to the great significance in biomimicry of self-healing function of natural PC materials,our work provides a facile strategy for the construction of diversified artificial PC materials for different applications such as chem-/biosensing,counterfeit prevention,optical display,and energy conversion.

目的:通过配准的双气相定量CT对轻中度慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)患者肺气肿定量指标的对比分析,寻找最优肺气肿定量指标。方法:回顾性收集健康体检对照组55例和慢性阻塞性肺疾病全球倡议(GOLD)1级21例,GOLD 2级31例。将CT原始DICOM数据导入“数字肺”分析平台,测定深吸气末LAA%_(-950)和深呼气末LAA%_(-910)。将呼气相与吸气相CT图像配准,根据阈值法计算出肺气肿区域百分比(PRM~(Emph%))、功能性小气道病变区域百分比(PRMfSAD%)和正常区域百分比(PRM~(Normal%))。肺功能指标包括FVC、FEV_1%、FEV_1/FVC。组间一般资料、CT定量指标和肺功能差异采用独立样本t检验、Mann-Whitney U检验或卡方检验,相关性采用Spearman相关分析。绘制受试者工作特征(ROC)曲线分析CT定量参数对轻中度COPD患者肺气肿的诊断效能。结果:轻中度COPD患者与正常对照组间性别、吸烟指数、FEV1%、FEV1/FVC、吸气相LAA%_(-950)、呼气相LAA%_(-910)、PRM~(Emph%)、PRMfSAD%及PRMNormal%差异均有统计学意义。吸气相LAA%_(-950)与FEV1/FVC呈负相关,呼气相LAA%_(-910)、PRM~(Emph%)与FVC、FEV1%、FEV1/FVC均呈负相关。ROC曲线分析结果显示吸气相LAA%_(-950)、呼气相LAA%_(-910)及PRM~(Emph%)曲线下面积分别为0.742、0.861、0.876,其中PRM~(Emph%)指标的曲线下面积最大,对应临界值为9.84%,敏感度76.90%,特异度94.50%。结论:定量CT肺气肿指标吸气相LAA%_(-950)、呼气相LAA%_(-910)及双气相PRM~(Emph%)都能够客观评估轻中度COPD患者的肺气肿情况,其中PRM~(Emph%)是最优评估指标。

Polyetheretherketone(PEEK)has been widely used as orthopedic and dental materials due to excellent mechanical and physicochemical ***,its biological inertness,poor osteoinduction,and weak antibacterial activity make the clinical applications in a *** by the mussel adhesion mechanism,here we reported a biomimetic surface strategy for rational integration and optimization of anti-infectivity and osteo-inductivity onto PEEK surfaces using a mussel foot proteins(Mfps)-mimic peptide with clickable azido *** peptide enables mussel-like adhesion on PEEK biomaterial surfaces,leaving azido groups for the further steps of *** this study,antimicrobial peptide(AMP)and osteogenic growth peptide(OGP)were bioorthogonally clicked on the azido-modified PEEK biomaterials to obtain a dual-effect of host defense and tissue *** bioorthogonal clicking allows precise collocation between AMP and OGP through changing their feeding molar ratios,an optimal PEEK surface was finally obtained in this research,which could long-term inhibit bacterial growth,stabilize bone homeostasis and facilitate interfacial bone *** a word,this upgraded mussel surface strategy proposed in this study is promising for the surface bioengineering of inert medical implants,in particular,achieving rational integration of multiple biofunctions to match clinical requirements.

Blautia has attracted attention because of its potential efficacy in ameliorating host energy metabolism and *** study aims to investigate the influences of Blautia producta D4 on colitis induced by dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)and to reveal the underlying *** showed that *** D4 intervention significantly relieved body weight loss,and suppressed the elevation of pro-inflammatory cytokines(including interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and interleukin-1β(IL-1β))and excessive oxidative stress(myeloperoxidease(MPO)activity,superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity,glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)activity,and malondialdehyde(MDA)level)in colitis ***,the concentrations of tight junction proteins(occludin,claudin-1,and ZO-1)related to the intestinal barrier were obviously elevated,and colitis-related TLR4/NF-κB pathway activation was remarkably inhibited after *** D4 *** intestinal microbial disorder was evidently ameliorated by increasing the relative abundance of Clostridium sensu stricto 1,Bifidobacterium,GCA-900066225,Enterorhabdus,and reducing the relative abundance of Lachnospiraceae NK4A136 *** conclusion,oral administration of *** D4 could ameliorate DSS-induced colitis by suppressing inflammatory responses,maintaining the intestinal barrier,inhibiting TLR4/NF-κB pathway,and regulating intestinal microbiota *** results are conducive to accelerate the development of *** D4 as a functional probiotic for colitis.

Contact stress is the important cause of wear and failure of knee joint prostheses implanted in the human body during *** calculation of contact stress on joint prostheses is often inaccurate due to the deviation of joint position during *** paper proposes a correction method for contact stress based on finite element ***,the contact stress and contact radius between femoral and tibial prostheses of knee joint were calculated and analyzed by Hertz contact ***,individualized finite element models based on the individualized geometry of the joint prosthesis and individualized loading were constructed,and the finite element contact stress was *** finite element results were calibrated utilizing the Hertz contact ***tionally,this study investigated the impact of three gait patterns(normal gait,medial thrust gait,and bouncing gait)on the contact stress experienced by the tibial *** research methods and results can provide ideas for theoretical analysis and finite element simulation of prosthetic joint contact,as well as offer theoretical support and analysis methods for evaluating the lifespan of prosthetic joints.

Dear Editor,This letter presents a distributed adaptive second-order latent factor(DAS) model for addressing the issue of high-dimensional and incomplete data representation. Compared with first-order optimizers, a second-order optimizer has stronger ability in approaching a better solution when dealing with the non-convex optimization problems, thus obtaining better performance in extracting the latent factors(LFs) well representing the known information from high-dimensional and incomplete data.

To harness the rich solar energy resources in Xinjiang Region of Northwest China,this study tries to address the issue of lack of downward surface shortwave radiation(DSSR)observations and the need to improve the accuracy of satellite retrieval and numerical simulation of DSSR under varied sky and meteorological conditions.(1)A two-layer aerosol model specific to Xinjiang was developed to capture the vertical distributions of aerosols based on multiple data sources including lidar,GPS sounding,ground meteorological observations,and profiles from the ECMWF reanalysis version 5(ERA5)*** results show that the ERA5/PBLH(planetary boundary layer height)and ERA5/ALH(aerosol layer height)could be used to establish the two-layer aerosol model and characterize the vertical distribution of aerosols in Xinjiang Region.(2)Using the Santa Barbara Discrete Atmospheric Radiative Transfer(SBDART)model,a localized inverse model of clear-sky DSSR was *** parameter adjustment and using the optimal combination of input parameters for DSSR simulation together with the two-layer aerosol model,the model-simulated DSSR(DSSRSBD)under clear-sky conditions improved significantly compared to the initial results,with all fitting indices greatly improved.(3)In addition,the study demonstrated that the impact of the two-layer aerosol model on DSSR was more pronounced under dust conditions than clear-sky conditions.(4)Using the localized clear-sky DSSR inversion model and its required parameters,simulations were also conducted to capture the spatiotemporal distribution of DSSR under clear-sky conditions in Xinjiang from 2017 to *** annual average DSSR_(SBD)under clear-sky conditions in Xinjiang during 2017–2019 was 606.78 W m^(-2),while DSSR from CERES(DSSR_(CER))under the same conditions was generally higher(703.95 W m^(-2)).(5)It is found that satellite remote sensing products experienced data loss in high-altitude snow areas,where numerical simulation technology could ser

Micro(nano)plastics(MNPs)are a growing problem as persistent environmental ***,we investigated the impact of MNPs on microorganisms in aquatic microbial floc exposed to NPs(80 nm)and MPs(8μm)for 35 *** quality indicators were tested weekly and microbiological analyses were conducted on Day 7 and 28 after *** results showed that there were significant differences in the levels of total ammonia nitrogen or nitrite between the MNPs groups and the control group,spanning from Day 7 to Day *** the microbial response,microbial community richness in the NPs and MPs groups were significantly increased at Day *** prediction showed that the relative abundances of bacteria associated with the“Forms Biofilms”,“Potentially Pathogenic”,“Plastic Degradation”and nitrogen cycle processes were significantly different after MNPs *** results suggest that MNPs had no significant effect on the microbial diversity of mature microbial *** suggest MPs could cause an increase in the relative abundance of potentially pathogenic bacteria,while NPs do *** addition,stress associated with MNPs affected the nitrogen cycle of microorganisms,and NPs exerted greater impacts than *** from this study further our understanding of the impact of MNPs at environmentally relevant concentrations on microorganisms in aquatic ecosystems.
