It is well-known that microscale gaps or defects are ubiquitous and can be penetrated by vapor,resulting in the failure of superhydrophobic effect and undesired condensate flooding under high ***,we propose and demonstrate that such problem can be solved by the oblique arrangement of *** a structure has been demonstrated to own anti-vapor-penetration and microdrop self-transport functions under high subcooling,unaffected by the microscale *** is because vapor molecules can be intercepted by oblique nanowires and preferentially nucleate at near-surface locations,avoiding the penetration of vapor into the microscale ***-formed microdrops can suspend upon the nanowires and have low solid-liquid ***,oblique nanowires can generate asymmetric surface tension and microdrop coalescence can release driving energy,both of which facilitate the microdrop self-removal via sweeping and jumping *** new design idea helps develop more advanced condensation mass and heat transfer interfaces.

Spatial and temporal changes in ecosystem services(ESs)are driven by two types of factors:environmental factors and trade-offs/synergies between *** the ecological conservation red line(ECRL)area,in which national ecological security and social sustainable development are guaranteed,it is particularly important to clarify the driving mechanism of ESs for the management of *** this study,soil conservation,water yield,and carbon sequestration in Beijing’s ECRL area are quantified,and GeoDetector is used to identify the factors influencing the trade-offs/synergies between ***,partial correlation analysis is used to calculate the net trade-offs/synergies and compare them with the extent to which environmental variables contribute to *** results are as follows:environmental variables and trade-offs/synergies have different effects on the changes in ESs,and their interactions can enhance the determinative power of the corresponding individual *** land use intensity is an extremely important factor affecting the trade-offs/synergies between the three services,indicating that rational land use planning in Beijing’s ECRL area is crucial for avoiding the negative impacts of trade-offs and enabling coordinated optimization of *** the elimination of the cross-influence of environmental variables,the trade-offs/synergies change significantly,and the impact of environmental variables on ESs is compared with the net trade-offs/*** variables are the driving forces of the spatiotemporal changes in soil *** and carbon sequestration have similar effects on water *** changes in carbon sequestration are closely related to the other two services,with smaller influences from environmental variables.

采用基于同位网格的SIMPLE方法求解gao-YONG不可压湍流方程组,对二维扩压器流动进行了数值模拟.通过界面速度动量插值法解决了压力锯齿波问题,并且采用了正交贴体网格和二阶QUICK格式离散对流项以提高计算精度.与实验结果以及BL(Baldw-Lo-max)模型计算结果的比较表明,不需要任何经验系数及壁面函数的gao-YONG不可压湍流模型方程组能够对有压力梯度的湍流流动做出很好的预测.计算发现,在机械能方程中引入平均流压力梯度的作用,对gao-YONG湍流方程组正确模拟逆压力梯度流动起到了关键作用.

Amplification of biosynthetic gene clusters is important to increase secondary metabolite ***,the copy number of amplified gene clusters is difficult to control *** this study,the tandem amplification of a 70 kb bleomycin biosynthetic gene cluster was precisely regulated through the combined strategy of a Zou A-dependent DNA amplification system and double-reporter-guided recombinant selection in Streptomyces verticillus *** production of bleomycin in the recombinant strain containing six copies of the bleomycin gene cluster was 9.59-fold higher than that in the wild-type *** combined strategy used in this study is powerful and applicable for precisely regulating the amplification of gene clusters and improving the corresponding secondary metabolite production.

The MCrAlY coating has been potential candidate for the parts applied in friction and corrosion conditions, and CNTs (carbon nanotubes) are expected to improve the service performance of coatings owing to high lubrication and low chemical reactivity. In this work, a systematic investigation on the tribological and corrosion properties of CoCrAlYTaSiC-xCNTs coatings deposited by laser melting was analyzed. Results showed that the coatings had good-quality without typical metallurgical defects. The CNTs addition homogenized and refined the microstructure of coating, and also improved the tribological and corrosion properties. As the CNTs content changed from 0 to 4 wt%, the wear rate of coating decreased from 16.23 × 10^(-3) to 7.58 × 10^(-3) mg m^(−1), the jcorr of coating decreased from 4.13 × 10^(-4) to 1.23 × 10^(-4) A cm^(−2), and the Rct values increased from 12.69 to 25.07 Ω cm2.

Dynamic behaviors of water-saturated and frozen sandstone subjected to freeze-thaw cycles

In high-altitude cold areas,freeze-thaw(F-T)cycles induced by day-night and seasonal temperature changes cause numerous rock mass slope engineering *** investigate the dynamic properties of rock in the natural environment of a high-altitude cold area,standard specimens were drilled from the slope of the Jiama copper mine in Tibet,and dynamic compression tests were performed on watersaturated and frozen sandstone with different numbers of F-T cycles(0,10,20,30,and 40)by the split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB)system with a cryogenic control *** influence of water-saturated and frozen conditions on the dynamic performance of sandstone was *** following conclusions are drawn:(1)With increasing strain rate,the attenuation factor(la)of water-saturated sandstone and the intensifying factor(li)of frozen sandstone linearly *** the number of F-T cycles increases,the dependence factor(ld)of water-saturated sandstone linearly decreases,whereas the ld of frozen sandstone linearly increases.(2)The prediction equation of the dynamic compressive strength of water-saturated and frozen sandstone is obtained,which can be used to predict the dynamic compressive strength of sandstone after various F-T cycles based on the strain rate.(3)The mesoscopic mechanism of water-saturated and frozen sandstone’s dynamic compressive strength evolution is *** water softening effect causes the dynamic compressive strength of water-saturated sandstone to decrease,whereas the strengthening effect of pore ice causes it to increase.(4)The decrease in the relative dynamic compressive strength of water-saturated sandstone and the increase in the relative dynamic compressive strength of frozen sandstone can be attributed to the increased porosity.

Ceratodus is a form genus of ceratodontid *** now,only 14 specimens have been reported from the Mesozoic of *** measurements and characteristic comparisons based on 15 well-preserved lungfish tooth plates of Ceratodus type,uncovered from the upper member of the Upper Jurassic Shaximiao Formation at Luojiashan,Qianfeng District,Guang'an,Sichuan Province in 2019,allow us to establish a new species,Ceratodus guanganensis ***.,on the basis of its small swollen irregular triangular tooth plate with four low and swollen radial crests on the occlusal surface without *** specimens from the same locality can be referred to *** and *** is the first discovery of Ceratodus in the Guang'an region and represents the fifth Ceratodus fossil site in the Sichuan *** discovery indicates that the climate was hot and arid in the Sichuan Basin during the Late Jurassic,and reveals a tectonic paleogeographic relationship between the Yangtze block in southwestern China and the Kola Basin in northern Thailand.

Free chlorine is one of the key water quality parameters in tap ***,a free chlorine sensor with the characteristics of batch processing,durability,antibiofouling/antiorganic passivation and in situ monitoring of free chlorine in tap water continues to be a challenging *** this paper,a novel silicon-based electrochemical sensor for free chlorine that can self-clean and be mass produced via microfabrication technique/MEMS(Micro-Electro-Mechanical System)is proposed.A liquid-conjugated Ag/AgCI reference electrode is fabricated,and electrochemically stable BDD/Pt is employed as the working/counter electrode to verify the effectiveness of the as-fabricated sensor for free chlorine *** sensor demonstrates an acceptable limit of detection(0.056 mg/L)and desirable linearity(R^(2)=0.998).Particularly,at a potential of+2.5 V,hydroxyl radicals are generated on the BBD electrode by electrolyzing water,which then remove the organic matter attached to the surface of the sensor though an electrochemical digestion *** performance of the fouled sensor recovers from 50.2 to 94.1%compared with the initial state after self-cleaning for 30 *** addition,by employing the MEMS technique,favorable response consistency and high reproducibility(RSD<4.05%)are observed,offering the opportunity to mass produce the proposed sensor in the future.A desirable linear dependency between the pH,temperature,and flow rate and the detection of free chlorine is observed,ensuring the accuracy of the sensor with any hydrologic *** interesting sensing and selfcleaning behavior of the as-proposed sensor indicate that this study of the mass production of free chlorine sensors by MEMS is successful in developing a competitive device for the online monitoring of free chlorine in tap water.
