The exploitation of high performance redox-active substances is critically important for the development of non-aqueous redoxﬂow ***,three tetrathiofulvalene(TTF)derivatives with different substitution groups,namely TTF diethyl ester(TTFDE),TTF tetramethyl ester(TTFTM),and TTF tetraethyl ester(TTFTE),are prepared and their energy storage properties are *** has been found that the redox potential and solubility of these TTF derivatives in conventional carbonate electrolytes increases with the number of ester *** battery with a catholyte of 0.2 mol L^(-1) of TTFTE delivers a speciﬁc capacity of more than 10 Ah L^(-1) at the current density of 0.5 C with two discharge voltage platforms locating at as high as 3.85 and 3.60 V ***/Liþ.Its capacity retention can be improved from 2.34 Ah L^(-1) to 3.60 Ah L^(-1) after 100 cycles by the use of an anion exchange membrane to block the crossover of TTF *** excellent cycling stability of the TIF esters is supported by their well-delocalized electrons,as revealed by the density function theory ***,the introduction of more and larger electron-withdrawing groups is a promising strategy to simultaneously increase the redox-potential and solubility of redox-active ma-terials for non-aqueous redoxﬂow batteries.

Collective behaviors efficiently impart benefits to a diversity of species ranging from bacteria to *** larvae tend to cluster and form coordinated digging groups under crowded conditions,yet understanding the rules governing this behavior is in its *** primarily took advantage of the Drosophila model to investigate cooperative foraging ***,we report that Drosophila-related species and the black soldier fly have evolved a conserved strategy of cluster digging in food ***,we investigated relative factors,including larval stage,population density,and food stiffness and quality,that affect the cluster digging ***,oxygen supply through the posterior breathing spiracles is necessary for the organization of digging *** importantly,we theoretically devise a mathematical model to accurately calculate how the cluster digging behavior expands food resources by diving depth,cross-section area,and food *** found that cluster digging behavior approximately increases 2.2 fold depth,1.7-fold cross-section area,and 1.9 fold volume than control groups,*** of food sources significantly facilitates survival,larval development,and reproductive success of Drosophila challenged with competition for limited food resources,thereby conferring trophic benefits to fitness in ***,our findings highlight that the cluster digging behavior is a pivotal behavior for their adaptation to food scarcity,advancing a better understanding of how this cooperative behavior confers fitness benefits in the animal kingdom.

With drilling and seismic data of Transtensional(strike-slip)Fault System in the Ziyang area of the central Sichuan Basin,SW China plane-section integrated structural interpretation,3-D fault framework model building,fault throw analyzing,and balanced profile restoration,it is pointed out that the transtensional fault system in the Ziyang 3-D seismic survey consists of the northeast-trending FI19 and FI20 fault zones dominated by extensional deformation,as well as 3 sets of northwest-trending en echelon normal faults experienced dextral shear *** them,the FI19 and FI20 fault zones cut through the Neoproterozoic to Lower Triassic Jialingjiang Formation,presenting a 3-D structure of an“S”-shaped *** before Permian and during the Early Triassic,the FI19 and FI20 fault zones underwent at least two periods of structural ***,the 3 sets of northwest-trending en echelon normal faults are composed of small normal faults arranged in pairs,with opposite dip directions and partially left-stepped *** before Permian,they had formed almost,restricting the eastward growth and propagation of the FI19 fault *** FI19 and FI20 fault zones communicate multiple sets of source rocks and reservoirs from deep to shallow,and the timing of fault activity matches well with oil and gas generation *** there were favorable Cambrian-Triassic sedimentary facies and reservoirs developing on the local anticlinal belts of both sides of the FI19 and FI20 fault zones,the major reservoirs in this area are expected to achieve breakthroughs in oil and gas exploration.

On February 6,2023,a devastating earthquake with a moment magnitude of M_(W)7.8 struck the town of Pazarcik in south-central Türkiye,followed by another powerful earthquake with a moment magnitude of M_(W)7.6 that struck the nearby city of Elbistan 9 h *** study the characteristics of surface deformation caused by this event and the influence of fault rupture,this study calculated the static coseismic deformation of 56 stations and dynamic displacement waveforms of 15 stations using data from the Turkish national fixed global navigation satellite system(GNSS)network.A maximum static coseismic displacement of 0.38 m for the M_(W)7.8 Kahramanmaras earthquake was observed at station ANTE,36 km from the epicenter,and a maximum dynamic coseismic displacement of 4.4 m for the M_(W)7.6 Elbistan earthquake was observed at station EKZ1,5 km from the *** rupture-slip distributions of the two earthquakes were inverted using GNSS coseismic deformation as a *** results showed that the Kahramanmaras earthquake rupture segment was distinct and exposed on the ground,resulting in significant rupture slip along the Amanos and Pazarcik fault segments of the East Anatolian *** maximum slip in the Pazarcik fault segment was 10.7 m,and rupture occurred at depths of 0–15 *** the Cardak fault region,the Elbistan earthquake caused significant ruptures at depths of 0–12 km,with the largest amount of slip reaching 11.6 *** Coulomb stress change caused by the Kahramanmaras earthquake rupture along the Cardak fault segment was approximately 2 bars,and the area of increased Coulomb stress corresponded to the subsequent rupture region of the M_(W)7.6 ***,it is likely that the M_(W)7.8 earthquake triggered or promoted the M_(W)7.6 *** on the cumulative stress impact of the M_(W)7.8 and M_(W)7.6 events,the southwestern segment of the East Anatolian Fault,specifically the Amanos fault segment,experienced a Coulomb rupture stress change exc

Wheat germplasm is a fundamental resource for basic research,applied studies,and wheat breeding,which can be enriched normally by several paths,such as collecting natural lines,accumulating breeding lines,and introducing mutagenesis *** methane sulfonate(EMS)is an alkylating agent that can effectively introduce genetic variations in a wide variety of plant *** this study,we created a million-scale EMS population(MEP)that started with the Chinese wheat cultivars‘Luyan 128’,‘Jimai 38’,‘Jimai 44’,and‘Shannong 30’.In the M1 generation,the MEP had numerous phenotypical variations,such as>3,000 chlorophyll-deficient mutants,2,519 compact spikes,and 1,692 male sterile *** were also rare mutations,including 30 independent tillers each with double *** M1 variations of chlorophyll-deficiency and compact spikes were inheritable,appearing in the M2 or M3 *** advance the entire MEP to higher generations,we adopted a single-seed descendent(SSD)*** other seed composites of M2 were used to screen other agronomically important traits,such as the tolerance to herbicide *** MEP is available for collaborative projects,and provides a valuable toolbox for wheat genetics and breeding for sustainable agriculture.

反兴奋剂领域对技术的变革有着天然的敏感性,受益于人工智能技术的快速发展,兴奋剂管制渐趋迈向智能化。通过调研文献资料、运用逻辑分析等方法,探讨人工智能赋能兴奋剂管制的价值意蕴、现实挑战与发展策略。研究认为,基于人工智能的反兴奋剂情报整合和检查、样本检测和分析、智慧管理为兴奋剂管制带来情检一体、多维锁定、全链支撑的模式变革。但是,兴奋剂管制中人工智能的应用也面临着模型误差、意识无涉的技术性难题,权益侵害、责任模糊的合法性挑战,算法歧视、黑箱效应、技术僭越的伦理性风险。为更好地促进人工智能技术在兴奋剂管制中的应用,应当从数据质量控制、算法驱动变革、加强设计保护完善技术控制;从运动员权利保护的构建、数据和算法规制的形塑、监管和责任的设置优化法律体系;从技术辅助的定位、数字人权的导向、多方参与的治理增强伦理适配。

Fuzzy Proportional Integral Derivative control of a voice coil actuator system for adaptive deformable mirrors

Research on adaptive deformable mirror technology for voice coil actuators(VCAs)is an important trend in the development of large ground-based telescopes.A voice coil adaptive deformable mirror contains a large number of actuators,and there are problems with structural coupling and large temperature increases in their internal ***,parameters of the traditional proportional integral derivative(PID)control cannot be adjusted in real-time to adapt to system *** problems can be addressed by introducing fuzzy control methods.A table lookup method is adopted to replace real-time calculations of the regular fuzzy controller during the control process,and a prototype platform has been established to verify the effectiveness and robustness of this *** tests compare the control performance of traditional and fuzzy proportional integral derivative(Fuzzy-PID)controllers,showing that,in system step response tests,the fuzzy control system reduces rise time by 20.25%,decreases overshoot by 78.24%,and shortens settling time by 67.59%.In disturbance rejection experiments,fuzzy control achieves a 46.09%reduction in the maximum deviation,indicating stronger *** Fuzzy-PID controller,based on table lookup,outperforms the standard controller significantly,showing excellent potential for enhancing the dynamic performance and disturbance rejection capability of the voice coil motor actuator system.
