Developing sustainable and clean energy sources(e.g.,solar,wind,and tide energy)is essential to achieve the goal of carbon *** to the discontinuous and inco nsistent nature of common clean energy sources,high-performance energy storage technologies are a critical part of achieving this *** zinc metal batteries(AZMBs)with inherent safety,low cost,and competitive performance are regarded as one of the promising candidates for grid-scale energy ***,zinc metal anodes(ZMAs)with irreversible problems of dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution reaction,self-corrosio n,and other side reactions have seriously hindered the development and commercialization of *** increasing number of researchers are focusing on the stability of ZMAs,so assessing the effectiveness of existing research strategies is critical to the development of *** review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals and challenges of *** rch strategies for interfacial modification of ZMAs are systematically *** features of artificial interfacial coating and in-situ interfacial coating of ZMAs are compared and discussed in detail,as well as the effect of modified interfacial ZMA on the full-battery ***,perspectives are provided on the problems and challenges of *** review is expected to offer a constructive reference for the further development and commercialization of AZMBs.

Ultrathin 2D Covalent Organic Framework Film Fabricated via Langmuir-Blodgett Method with a“Two-in-One”Type Monomer

In recent years, covalent organic frameworks(COFs) are evolving as a novel kind of porous materials for catalysis and molecular separation, gas adsorption, etc. Various functional building blocks have been explored to tune the pore channels, including the pore size and structures. In this article, a new terphenyl(TP) based COF(TP-COF) was developed via a “two-in-one” strategy by using a symmetric A2B2monomer, i.e., 4,4''-diamino-2',5'-diformyl-1,1':4',1''-terphenyl(DADFTP). The pore size of TP-COF was only 0.99 nm by shortening the arm length of the DADFTP monomer. Freestanding, continuous and ultrathin COF films could be facilely prepared at the air-liquid interface through the modified Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) method. TP-COF films exhibited high rejection of over 90% for dyes removal.

According to itself features, the university constructs various motivate mechanism in human resource management. Based on these, target motivation is applied, morality motivation is intensified, cultural motivation is realized, promotion and demotion motivation is perfected, and authorization motivation is actualized, to improve the work achievement of the stuff, to improve the competitive power of the organization, to realize motivation effects finally.

Multi-instance partial-label learning: towards exploiting dual inexact supervision

Weakly supervised machine learning algorithms are able to learn from ambiguous samples or labels, e.g., multi-instance learning or partial-label learning. However, in some real-world tasks, each training sample is associated with not only multiple instances but also a candidate label set that contains one groundtruth label and some false positive labels. Specifically, at least one instance pertains to the ground-truth label while no instance belongs to the false positive labels. In this paper, we formalize such problems as multi-instance partial-label learning(MIPL). Existing multi-instance learning algorithms and partial-label learning algorithms are suboptimal for solving MIPL problems since the former fails to disambiguate a candidate label set, and the latter cannot handle a multi-instance bag. To address these issues, a tailored algorithm named MIPLGP, i.e., multi-instance partial-label learning with Gaussian processes, is *** first assigns each instance with a candidate label set in an augmented label space, then transforms the candidate label set into a logarithmic space to yield the disambiguated and continuous labels via an exclusive disambiguation strategy, and last induces a model based on the Gaussian processes. Experimental results on various datasets validate that MIPLGP is superior to well-established multi-instance learning and partial-label learning algorithms for solving MIPL problems.

Optimising multi-vent module-based adaptive ventilation using a novel parameter for improved indoor air quality and health protection

As infectious respiratory diseases are highly transmissible through the air,researchers have improved traditional total volume air distribution systems to reduce infection ***-vent module-based adaptive ventilation(MAV)is a novel ventilation type that facilitates the switching of inlets and outlets to suit different indoor scenarios without changing ductwork ***,little research has evaluated MAV module sizing and air velocity selection,both related to MAV system efficiency in removing contaminants and the corresponding level of protection for occupants in the ventilated ***,the module-source offset ratio(MSOR)is proposed,based on the MAV module size and its distance from an infected occupant,to inform selection of optimal MAV module *** fluid dynamics simulations illustrated contaminant distribution in a two-person MAV equipped *** phase particles modelled respiratory contaminants from the infected occupant,and contaminant concentration distributions were compared under four MAV air distribution layouts,three air velocities,and three module sizes considered using the *** indicate that lower air velocities favour rising contaminant levels,provided the ventilation rate is *** contaminant discharge can be achieved when the line of outlets is located directly above the infected *** this parameter to guide MAV system design,85.7% of contaminants may be rendered harmless to the human body within 120 s using the default air vent layout.A more appropriate supply air velocity and air vent layout increases this value to 91.4%.These results are expected to inform the deployment of MAV systems to reduce airborne infection risk.

Conductive edge-warping graphite mesas for robust structural superlubricity

Structural superlubricity(SSL) refers to a state of ultralow friction and zero wear when two solid surfaces slide against each other. Recent investigations have identified amorphous carbon at the edge of the graphite mesa as the primary source of friction in such SSL systems. Here, the tensile stress of metal thin film is exploited to engineer vertically conductive edge-warping graphite mesas(EWGM). Through this approach, robust SSL performance is realized, demonstrated by sliding an 8 μm side length square EWGM on an atomically smooth Au substrate for 10000 cycles at a constant voltage of 1 m V. In this SSL system,differential friction coefficients lower than 1.5 × 10^(-4) are achieved, with static contact resistance between EWGM and Au substrate as low as 28Ω and sliding contact resistance as low as 32Ω. Moreover, the EWGM exhibits SSL behavior on polished Si wafer substrates. Furthermore, because of the no-edge contact with the substrate during sliding, friction is independent of the sliding speed of the EWGM. This study presents the first successful fabrication of conductive EWGM. Remarkably, in both EWGM-Au and EWGM-Si SSL systems, the measured frictions are more than one order of magnitude lower than those of ordinary self-retracting graphite mesas with no-edge warping, and no wear is observed during extended current-carrying ***, these findings establish a solid groundwork for the future realization of macroscale conductive SSL systems.

Synthesis of uniform two-dimensional MoS_(2) films via thermal evaporation

Two-dimensional(2D)molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))holds great potential for various applications such as electronic devices,catalysis,lubrication,anti-corrosion and so *** evaporation is a versatile thin film deposition technique,however,the conventional thermal evaporation techniques face challenges in producing uniform thin films of MoS_(2) due to its high melting temperature of 1375℃.As a result,only thick and rough MoS_(2) films can be obtained using these *** address this issue,we have designed a vacuum thermal evaporation system specifically for large-scale preparation of MoS_(2) thin *** using K2MoS4 as the precursor,we achieved reliable deposition of uniform polycrystalline MoS_(2) thin films with a size of 50 mm×50 mm and controllable thickness ranging from 0.8 to 2.4 *** approach also allows for patterned deposition of MoS_(2) using shadow masks and sequential deposition of MoS_(2) and tungsten disulfide(WS_(2)),similar to conventional thermal evaporation ***,we have demonstrated the potential applications of the obtained MoS_(2) thin films in field effect transistors(FETs),memristors and electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).

A Secure Communicating While Jamming Approach for End-to-End Multi-Hop Wireless Communication Network

With the rapid development of wireless communications,cellular communication and distributed wireless network are fragile to eavesdropping due to distributed users and transparent ***,to adopt bigger transmit power at a given area to interfere potential eavesdroppers not only incurs huge energy waste but also may suppresses regular communication in this *** this end,we focus on secure communication in multi-hop wireless communication network,and propose two communicating while jamming schemes for secure communication in presence of potential eavesdroppers for the narrow band and broad band point-to-point(P2P) systems respectively with the aid of artificial noise transmitted by a chosen cooperative ***,to achieve the end-to-end(E2E) multi-hop secure communication,we devise the secure network topology discovering *** constructing a proper network topology with at least one proper node as the cooperative interferer in each hop,and then propose the secure transmission path planning scheme to find an E2E secure transmission route from source to destination,*** on the wireless open-access research platform demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed ***,simulations results validate that the proposed schemes can achieve better performance compared with existing methods in both the P2P communication case and E2E multi-hop communication network scenario.

Coral sandy soils widely exist in coral island reefs and seashores in tropical and subtropical *** to the unique marine depositional environment of coral sandy soils,the engineering characteristics and responses of these soils subjected to monotonic and cyclic loadings have been a subject of intense interest among the geotechnical and earthquake engineering *** paper critically reviews the progress of experimental investigations on the undrained behavior of coral sandy soils under monotonic and cyclic loadings over the last three *** focus of coverage includes the contractive-dilative behavior,the pattern of excess pore-water pressure(EPWP)generation and the liquefaction mechanism and liquefaction resistance,the small-strain shear modulus and strain-dependent shear modulus and damping,the cyclic softening feature,and the anisotropic characteristics of undrained responses of saturated coral sandy *** particular,the advances made in the past decades are reviewed from the following aspects:(1)the characterization of factors that impact the mechanism and patterns of EPWP build-up;(2)the identification of liquefaction triggering in terms of the apparent viscosity and the average flow coefficient;(3)the establishment of the invariable form of strain-based,stress-based,or energy-based EPWP ratio formulas and the unique relationship between the new proxy of liquefaction resistance and the number of cycles required to reach liquefaction;(4)the establishment of the invariable form of the predictive formulas of small strain modulus and strain-dependent shear modulus;and(5)the investigation on the effects of stress-induced anisotropy on liquefaction susceptibility and dynamic deformation *** gained through the critical review of these advances in the past decades offer a perspective for future research to further resolve the fundamental issues concerning the liquefaction mechanism and responses of coral sandy sites subjecte
