In underwater optical wireless communication(UOWC),a channel is characterized by abundant scattering/absorption effects and optical *** previous studies on UOWC have been limited to scattering/absorption ***,experiments in the literature indicate that underwater optical turbulence(UOT)can cause severe degradation of UOWC *** this paper,we characterize an UOWC channel with both scattering/absorption and UOT taken into consideration,and a spatial diversity receiver scheme,say a singleinput–multiple-output(SIMO) scheme,based on a light-emitting-diode(LED) source and multiple detectors is proposed to mitigate deep *** Monte Carlo based statistical simulation method is introduced to evaluate the bit-error-rate performance of the *** is shown that spatial diversity can effectively reduce channel fading and remarkably extend communication range.

目的分析≥55岁甲状腺乳头状癌(papillary thyroid cancer,PTC)患者发生中央区淋巴结转移(central lymph nodem etastasis,CLNM)的危险因素,构建有预测价值的列线图预测模型。方法法回顾性纳人2019年11月至2022年2月郑州大学第一附属医院甲状腺外一科病区由有甲状腺专科手术经验的高年资医师实施的颈部低领横切口开放性手术治疗的≥55岁PTC患者共406例,收集患者包括人口学特征、疾病特征、实验室检测指标在内的关键临床资料,采用单因素和多因素Logistic回归分析筛选危险因素并构建临床预测模型与列线图。结果研究收集406例≥55岁PTC患者,纳人建模组285例,验证组121例。建模组285例患者建模中筛选出CLNM独立危险因素,建立预测模型Logistic(P)=-2.70552+0.73882×性别(男)+0.38321×肿瘤最大径+1.02489x双侧累及(是)+0.99038x临床明显的颈部淋巴结(是)+3.15004x局部侵犯(是)。预测模型建模组受试者工作特征曲线(receiver operating characteristic curve,ROC)对应最大Youden指数的截断值为0.190,模型R0C曲线下面积(area under the curve,AUC)为0.769(95%CI:0.707~0.832),预测灵敏度82.6%、特异度63.0%、准确度67.7%。应用验证组121例验证模型,并绘制R0C曲线,诊断灵敏度66.7%、特异度74.5%、准确度72.7%,AUC为0.760(95%CI:0.663~0.856)。建模组和验证组进行Hosmer-Lemeshow检验结果提示拟合效果较好(P=0.221、0.706)。建模组和验证组决策曲线分析(DCA)结果证实模型在不同的概率阈值下具有明显的临床决策价值,建模组与验证组模型的表现均优于传统决策策略,模型具有良好的普适性和可靠性。结论性别、肿瘤最大径、肿瘤双侧腺叶累及、临床明显的颈部淋巴结及局部侵犯是≥55岁PTC患者CLNM的独立预测因素,基于上述危险因素构建的临床风险列线图预测模型具有较好的预测性能。

CeCO_(3)OH has a unique crystal structure and excellent optical,electronic and catalytic properties,which has been widely investigated for many ***,ceria obtained from CeCO_(3)OH has a morphology that is similar to that of the precursor,and the CeO_(2)-based products obtained from CeCO_(3)OH exhibit outstanding properties,such as catalytic performances,owing to their designed morphology and oxygen vacancies(OVs).To introduce CeCO_(3)OH into a wider range of potential researchers,we first systematically review the physico-chemical properties,synthesis,reaction and morphology tuning mechanism of CeCO_(3)OH,and summarize the conversion behavior from CeCO_(3)OH to ***,we thoroughly survey the applications of CeCO_(3)OH and its conversion *** for further investigations of CeCO_(3)OH are also made in this *** is hoped that the exhaustive co mpilation of the valuable properties and considerable potential investigations of CeCO_(3)OH will promote further applications of CeCO_(3)OH and CeO_(2)-based functional materials.

Selective loading of spatially separated redox cocatalysts on direct Z-scheme heterojunctions holds great promise for advancing the efficiency of artificial photosynthesis,which however is limited to the photodeposition of noble metal cocatalysts and the fabrication of hollow double-shelled semiconductor ***,the co-exposure of discrete cocatalyst and semiconductor increases the product diversity when both the exposed sites of which participate in CO_(2)***,we present a facile and versatile protocol to overcome these limitations via surface coating of Z-scheme heterojunctions with bifunctional noble-metal-free *** Cu_(2)O/Fe_(2)O_(3)(CF)as a model heterojunction and layered Ni(OH)_(2)as a model cocatalyst,it is found that Ni(OH)_(2)lying on the surfaces of Cu_(2)O and Fe_(2)O_(3)separately co-catalyzes the CO_(2)reduction and H_(2)O *** experimental and theoretical investigation reveals that the Ni(OH)_(2)outer layer:(i)mitigates the charge recombination in CF and balances their transfer and consumption;(ii)reduces the rate-determining barriers for CO_(2)-to-CO and H_(2)O-to-O_(2)conversion,(iii)suppresses the side proton reduction occurring on CF,and(iv)protects the CF from component *** expected,the redox reactions stoichiometrically proceed,and significantly enhanced photocatalytic activity,selectivity,and stability in CO generation are achieved by the stacked Cu_(2)O/Fe_(2)O_(3)@Ni(OH)_(2)in contrast to *** study demonstrates the significance of the synergy between bifunctional cocatalysts and Z-scheme heterojunctions for improving the efficacy of overall redox reactions,opening a fresh avenue for the rational design of artificial photosynthetic systems.

The prevalence of colorectal cancer(CRC) is increasing annually and metastasis is the principal cause of death in patients with CRC, with the liver being the most frequently affected site. Many studies have shown a strong interplay between the gut flora, particularly Fusobacterium nucleatum(F. nucleatum), Escherichia coli, and Bacteroides fragilis, and the development of gut tumors. Some strains can induce gut inflammation and produce toxins that directly harm gut epithelial cells, ultimately accelerating the onset and progression of CRC. However,little clinical evidence exists on the specific interplay between the gut microflora and colorectal cancer liver metastasis(CRLM). Some research showed the existence of viable F. nucleatum in distant metastasis of ***, gut microbiota products, such as lipopolysaccharides, sodium butyrate, and protein cathepsin K, were also found to affect the development of CRC. This article summarizes the mechanism and research status of the interplay between gut microflora and CRLM, discusses the importance of gut microflora in the treatment of CRLM, and proposes a new approach to understanding the mechanism of CRLM and potential treatments for the microbiome. It is anticipated that the gut microbiota will be a formidable therapeutic and prophylactic tool for treating and preventing CRLM.

Brain-inspired computing, drawing inspiration from the fundamental structure and information-processing mechanisms of the human brain, has gained significant momentum in recent years. It has emerged as a research paradigm centered on brain–computer dual-driven and multi-network integration. One noteworthy instance of this paradigm is the hybrid neural network(HNN), which integrates computer-science-oriented artificial neural networks(ANNs) with neuroscience-oriented spiking neural networks(SNNs). HNNs exhibit distinct advantages in various intelligent tasks, including perception, cognition and learning. This paper presents a comprehensive review of HNNs with an emphasis on their origin, concepts, biological perspective, construction framework and supporting systems. Furthermore, insights and suggestions for potential research directions are provided aiming to propel the advancement of the HNN paradigm.

Fucoxanthin， a kind of exclusively algae-derived carotenoids， could reduce lipid content and regulate gut microbiota composition in obese mice， showing potential in preventing hyperlipidemia. This study aimed to illustrate fucoxanthin efficacy in modulating lipid metabolism in serum and liver of high-fat-induced hyperlipidemia mice， as well as investigate the underlying association with gut microbiota changes. Results showed that fucoxanthin significantly reduced body weight gain and body white fat of the mice. In the serum， total triglycerides (TG)， total cholesterol (TC) contents were significantly decreased and high-density-lipoprotein cholesterol levels was significantly upregulated. Moreover， fucoxanthin remarkedly prevented lipid accumulation in the liver. Especially， metabolomics results showed that lipids and lipid-like molecules were significantly downregulated compared with the control， indicating the advance of hepatic lipid metabolism. Bile acids profile in the liver was also greatly changed by fucoxanthin. Meanwhile， fucoxanthin remodeled gut microbiota composition and promoted the relative abundance of Desulfovibrio， Blautia and Clostridia genera. Finally， correlation analysis revealed that these gut microbiota changes were closely related with hepatic metabolites/metabolism and serum lipids. Altogether， this study showed great potential of fucoxanthin in improving serum lipids profile， hepatic lipids and bile acids metabolism of hyperlipidemia mice， which was associated with gut microbiota alteration.
