Single-stranded DNA-binding proteins(SSBs)play essential roles in the replication,recombination and repair processes of organellar DNA *** Arabidopsis thaliana,SSBs are encoded by a small family of two genes(SSB1 and SSB2).However,the functional divergence of these two SSB copies in plants remains largely unknown,and detailed studies regarding their roles in the replication and recombination of organellar genomes are still *** this study,phylogenetic,gene structure and protein motif analyses all suggested that SSB1 and SSB2 probably diverged during the early evolution of seed *** on accurate long-read sequencing results,ssb1 and ssb2 mutants had decreased copy numbers for both mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)and plastid DNA(ptDNA),accompanied by a slight increase in structural rearrangements mediated by intermediate-sized repeats in mt genome and small-scale variants in both *** findings provide an important foundation for further investigating the effects of DNA dosage in the regulation of mutation frequencies in plant organellar genomes.

A method to reconstruct symmetric B-spline curves and surfaces is presented. The symmetry property is realized by using symmetric knot vector and symmetric control points. Firstly, data points are divided into two parts based on the symmetry axis or symmetry plane extracted from data points. Then the divided data points are parameterized and a symmetric knot vector is selected in order to get symmetric B-spline basis functions. Constraint equations regarding the control points are deduced to keep the control points of the B-spline curve or surface to be symmetric with respect to the extracted symmetry axis or symmetry plane. Lastly, the constrained least squares fitting problem is solved with the Lagrange multiplier method. Two examples from industry are given to show that the proposed method is efficient, robust and able to meet the general engineering requirements.

Antifriction and wear resistance of tin diffusion coating on brass

After brass is coated with tin, heat treatment makes the coating metal Sn and the substrate metallic elements Cu and Zn diffuse with each other. This causes the coating composition to be changed and the interface to be strengthened. The diffusion coating with a multiphase structure formed by this process has excellent properties of antifriction and wear resistance. With the aid of scanning electron microscopy, electronic probe microanalysis and X ray diffraction, the mechanism of the properties is discussed.

A principal direction Gaussian image （PDGI）-based algorithm is proposed to extract the regular swept surface from point cloud. Firstly, the PDGI of the regular swept surface is constructed from point cloud, then the bounding box of the Gaussian sphere is uniformly partitioned into a number of small cubes （3D grids） and the PDGI points on the Gaussian sphere are associated with the corresponding 3D grids. Secondly, cluster analysis technique is used to sort out a group of 3D grids containing more PDGI points among the 3D grids. By the connected-region growing algorithm, the congregation point or the great circle is detected from the 3D grids. Thus the translational direction is determined by the congregation point and the direction of the rotational axis is determined by the great circle. In addition, the positional point of the rotational axis is obtained by the intersection of all the projected normal lines of the rotational surface on the plane being perpendicular to the estimated direction of the rotational axis. Finally, a pattem search method is applied to optimize the translational direction and the rotational axis. Some experiments are used to illustrate the feasibility of the above algorithm.

该文运用文献资料、文本分析及逻辑分析等方法,对中华体育精神与中华民族共同体意识的内涵及其内在联系进行了深入阐释,并据此提出了通过弘扬中华体育精神铸牢中华民族共同体意识的实践路径。研究指出,中华体育精神的内涵包括“为国争光、无私奉献、科学求实、遵纪守法、团结协作、顽强拼搏”。而中华民族共同体意识则基于中华民族共同体的形成,体现了各族人民对中华民族整体化的情感认同与国家认同,是民族交融的情感纽带,是维护祖国统一、促进民族团结的思想基石,更是推动中华民族绵延不衰、永续发展的力量源泉。该文从概念、文化、内涵和历史作用4个方面阐述两者的内在联系。中华体育精神铸牢中华民族共同体意识的实践路径为:注重体育项目实践,坚守民族政策;培养体育人才,促进各民族交流;弘扬体育精神,加速民族融合。

Dynamical modeling and non-planar coupled behavior of inclined CFRP cables under simultaneous internal and external resonances

A dynamic model for an inclined carbon ?ber reinforced polymer(CFRP)cable is established, and the linear and nonlinear dynamic behaviors are investigated in detail. The partial differential equations for both the in-plane and out-of-plane dynamics of the inclined CFRP cable are obtained by Hamilton's principle. The linear eigenvalues are explored theoretically. Then, the ordinary differential equations for analyzing the dynamic behaviors are obtained by the Galerkin integral and dimensionless *** steady-state solutions of the nonlinear equations are obtained by the multiple scale method(MSM) and the Newton-Raphson method. The frequency-and force-response curves are used to investigate the dynamic behaviors of the inclined CFRP cable under simultaneous internal(between the lowest in-plane and out-of-plane modes) and external resonances, i.e., the primary resonances induced by the excitations of the in-plane mode,the out-of-plane mode, and both the in-plane mode and the out-of-plane mode, respectively. The effects of the key parameters, e.g., Young's modulus, the excitation amplitude,and the frequency on the dynamic behaviors, are discussed in detail. Some interesting phenomena and results are observed and concluded.

Photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction is an appealing strategy for mitigating the environmental effects of greenhouse gases while simultaneously producing valuable carbon-neutral *** attempts have been made to produce effective and efficient photocatalysts for CO_(2)reduction. In contrast, the selection of competitive catalysts continues to be a substantial hindrance and a considerable difficulty in the development of photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction. It is vital to emphasize different techniques for building effective photocatalysts to improve CO_(2)reduction performance in order to achieve a long-term sustainability. Metalorganic frameworks(MOFs) are recently emerging as a new type of photocatalysts for CO_(2)reduction due to their excellent CO_(2)adsorption capability and unique structural characteristics. This review examines the most recent breakthroughs in various techniques for modifying MOFs in order to improve their efficiency of photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction. The advantages of MOFs using as photocatalysts are summarized, followed by different methods for enhancing their effectiveness for photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction via partial ion exchange of metal clusters, design of bimetal clusters, the modification of organic linkers,and the embedding of metal complexes. For integrating MOFs with semiconductors, metallic nanoparticles(NPs), and other materials, a number of different approaches have been also reviewed. The final section of this review discusses the existing challenges and future prospects of MOFs as photocatalysts for CO_(2)reduction. Hopefully, this review can stimulate intensive research on the rational design and development of more effective MOF-based photocatalysts for visible-light driven CO_(2)conversion.

Cobalt-nanoparticle catalysts derived from zeolitic imidazolate framework@MXene composites for efficient oxidative self-coupling of benzylamines

In this study,we synthesize a catalyst comprising cobalt nanoparticles supported on MXene by pyrolyzing a composite in a N2 ***,the composite comprises a bimetallic Zn/Co zeolitic imidazole framework grown in situ on the outer surface of *** catalytic efficiency of the catalyst is tested for the self-coupling of 4-methoxybenzylamine to produce value-added imine,where atmospheric oxygen(1 atm)is used as the *** on the results,the catalyst displayed impressive catalytic activity,achieving 95.4%yield of the desired imine at 383 K for 8 ***,the catalyst showed recyclability and tolerance toward benzylamine substrates with various functional *** outstanding performance of the catalyst is primarily attributed to the synergetic catalytic effect between the cobalt nanoparticles and MXene support,while also benefiting from the three-dimensional porous ***,a preliminary investigation of potential reaction mechanisms is conducted.
