Photo-induced vacancy defects are employed strategically to imbue semiconductors with enhanced performance characteristics for many important applications such as surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)sensing,photocatalysis,and photovoltaic ***,the long-term maintenance and use of photo-induced vacancy defects remain elusive,because of their rapid self-healing upon air *** this study,we demonstrate that photo-induced oxygen vacancy(PIVO)defects can be stabilized by the photoexcitation of metal–organic framework(MOF)materials,which is crucial for SERS *** PIVO defects in MOF materials are stable for at least two weeks in the ambient atmosphere,owing to the combination of steric hindrance and electron delocalization around vacancy defects,which significantly contrasts the short lifetime(within minutes)of PIVO defects in metal-oxide *** the formation of stable PIVO defects,a prominent SERS enhancement surpassing that of pristine MOFs is achieved,accompanied with a reduced limit of detection by three orders of ***,the additional SERS enhancement rendered by PIVO defects can be stably retained and is effective for monitoring various small molecules,such as dopamine and bisphenol A.

Fiber-based supercapacitors （FSCs） are new members of the energy storage family. They present excellent flexibility and have promising applications in lightweight, flexible, and wearable devices. One of the existing challenges of FSCs is enhancing their energy density while retaining the flexibility. We developed a facile and cost-effective method to fabricate a highly capacitive positive electrode based on hierarchical ferric-cobalt-nickel ternary oxide nanowire arrays/graphene fibers and a negative electrode based on polyaniline-derived carbon nanorods/graphene fibers. The elegant microstructures and excellent electrochemical performances of both electrodes enabled us to construct a high- performance flexible asymmetric graphene fiber-based supercapacitor device with an operating voltage of 1.4 V, a specific capacitance up to 61.58 ***-2, and an energy density reaching 16.76 μW·h·cm-2. Moreover, the optimal device presents an outstanding cycling stability with 87.5% initial capacitance retention after 8,000 cycles, and an excellent flexibility with a capacitance retention of 90.9% after 4,000 cycles of repetitive bending.

Plant diversity is currently being lost at an unprecedented rate, resulting in an associated decrease in ecosystem services. About a third of the world＇s vascular plant species face the threat of extinction due to a variety of devastating activities, including, over-harvesting and over exploitation, destructive agricul- tural and forestry practices, urbanization, environmental pollution, land-use changes, exotic invasive species, global climate change, and more. We therefore need to increase our efforts to develop integrative conservation approaches for plant species conservation. Botanical gardens devote their resources to the study and conservation of plants, as well as making the world＇s plant species diversity known to the public. These gardens also play a central role in meeting human needs and providing well-being. In this minireview, a framework for the integrated missions of botanical gardens, including scientific research, inJex situ conservation, plant resource utilization, and citizen science are cataloged. By reviewing the history of the development of Kunming Botanical Garden, we illustrate successful species conservation approaches （among others, projects involving Camellia, Rhododendron, Magnolia, Begonia, Alliurn, Ne- penthes, medicinal plants, ornamental plants, and Plant Species with Extreme Small Populations）, as well as citizen science, and scientific research at Kunming Botanical Garden over the past 80 years. We emphasize that Kunming Botanical Garden focuses largely on the ex situ conservation of plants from Southwest China, especially those endangered, endemic, and economically important plant species native to the Yunnan Plateau and the southern Hengduan Mountains. Pollination and seed dispersal in angiosperms have long been investigated in order to understand the coevolution of plants and ***,the signals from flowers and/or seeds to attract pollinators and/or seed dispersers have received comparatively little *** this study,the pollination biology and seed dispersal of the vulnerable agarwood plant Aquilaria sinensis(Lour.) Gilg,a traditional medicinal plant in China,was studied in its natural distribution *** reproductive tactics of *** were studied in detail by employing various tests dealing with fruit set and also seed *** headspace extraction followed by GC-MS analysis was also performed in order to reveal the composition of floral *** results showed that noctuids and pyralids are the most effective pollinators of pollinator-dependent *** main compounds of the floral scent were(E,E)-α-Farnesene(61.9 ± 3.2%),trans-Ocimene(16.6 ± 1.2%),and Benzyl salicylate(4.6 ± 1.1%).The results obtained from seed dispersal experiments indicate that hornets are effective seed dispersers and they may play an important role in long-distance seed dispersal of *** on our findings,we recommend several protection methods for this threatened agarwood plant in China.

Floral characteristics and pollination ecology of Manglietia ventii(Magnoliaceae),a plant species with extremely small populations(PSESP)endemic to South Yunnan of China

Manglietia ventii is a highly endangered plant species endemic to Yunnan province in China, where there are only five known small populations. Despite abundant flowering there is very low fruit and seed set,and very few seedlings in natural populations, indicating problems with reproduction. The causes of low fecundity in M. ventii are not known, largely because of insufficient knowledge of the species pollination ecology and breeding system. We conducted observations and pollination experiments, and analyzed floral scents to understand the pollinatoreplant interactions and the role of floral scent in this relationship, as well as the species breeding system. Like the majority of Magnoliaceae, M. ventii has protogynous and nocturnal flowers that emit a strong fragrance over two consecutive evenings. There is a closing period(the pre-staminate stage) during the process of anthesis of a flower, and we characterize the key flowering process as an "open-close-reopen" flowering rhythm with five distinct floral stages observed throughout the floral period of this species: pre-pistillate, pistillate, pre-staminate, staminate,and post-staminate. Flowers are in the pistillate stage during the first night of anthesis and enter the staminate stage the next night. During anthesis, floral scent emission occurs in the pistillate and staminate stages. The effective pollinators were weevils(Sitophilus sp.) and beetles(Anomala sp.), while the role of Rove beetles(Aleochara sp.) and thrips(Thrips sp.) in pollination of M. ventii appears to be minor or absent. The major chemical compounds of the floral scents were Limonene, b-Pinene, a-Pinene, 1,8-Cineole, Methyl-2-methylbutyrate, p-Cymene, Methyl-3-methyl-2-butenoate and 2-Methoxy-2-methyl-3-buten, and the relative proportions of these compounds varied between the pistillate and staminate stages. Order-preserving submatrix （OPSM） has become important in modelling biologically meaningful subspace cluster, capturing the general tendency of gene expressions across a subset of conditions. With the advance of microarray and analysis techniques, big volume of gene expression datasets and OPSM mining results are produced. OPSM query can efficiently retrieve relevant OPSMs from the huge amount of OPSM datasets. However, improving OPSM query relevancy remains a difficult task in real life exploratory data analysis processing. First, it is hard to capture subjective interestingness aspects, e.g., the analyst＇s expectation given her/his domain knowledge. Second, when these expectations can be declaratively specified, it is still challenging to use them during the computational process of OPSM queries. With the best of our knowledge, existing methods mainly fo- cus on batch OPSM mining, while few works involve OPSM query. To solve the above problems, the paper proposes two constrained OPSM query methods, which exploit userdefined constraints to search relevant results from two kinds of indices introduced. In this paper, extensive experiments are conducted on real datasets, and experiment results demonstrate that the multi-dimension index （cIndex） and enumerating sequence index （esIndex） based queries have better performance than brute force search.

1 Introduction Data in real world is usually dirty,i.e.,it may contain inconsistent,noisy,incomplete or duplicated *** speaking,the identified dimensions of data quality management can be summarized as the following five types:accuracy,consistency,completeness,timeliness and reliability [1].Dirty data can lead to incorrect conclusions and false decisions on both public and private scales (see Wikipedia).
