Rubbers or elastomers play an important role in hi-tech technology and civilian daily life because of their unique and strategical ***,the rubber additives are essential components for rubbers’practical ***,developing novel multifunctional additives has attracted increasing research *** this work,low-cost crude carbon dots(CCDs)were used as multifunctional additives for natural rubber/silica system(without any additional modification)through industrial compatible melt-mixing *** results revealed that the CCDs could disperse well in the NR/silica system,and they could not only endow the rubber compound with excellent anti-aging capability due to CCDs’radical scavenging activity because of their plenty of nitrogen-containing species,but also improve the curing rate and mechanical performance of the rubber ***,the CCDs could reduce the rolling resistance of the rubber composites(tanδvalue at 7%strain of the rubber composite could be decreased by 34%),which is promising for the application of energy-saving tire ***,the addition of CCDs could effectively reduce the ZnO dosage by at least 40%in the rubber composite without deteriorating its ***,this work provides valuable guidance to develop novel cheap yet effective additives for the elastomer.

Alumina–spinel refractories used in slit-type purging plugs are susceptible to cross-sectional damage,resulting in a serious mismatch between their service life and that of ***–calcium hexaluminate refractories have gradually become the new trend in purging plug materials with the development of refining *** thermomechanical damage of slit-type purging plugs with alumina–calcium hexaluminate refractory was investigated by the thermo-solid coupling *** with the polynomial fitting and design of experiments methods,the influence of thermophysical parameters on temperature and thermal stress of alumina–calcium hexaluminate refractories for purging plugs was systematically *** results show that the maximum thermal stress of the purging plugs appears during the stages of steel transporting and stirring,and the vulnerable parts are located above Y=0.32. *** thermal conductivity and the coefficient of thermal expansion of the material are the most sensitive parameters to the temperature and thermal stress inside the structure,*** addition of more calcium hexaluminate can relieve the stress concentration and large deformation around the ***,when the content of calcium hexaluminate is 47 wt.%and in the form of aggregate-binder,the temperature and thermal stress distribution inside the refractory are optimal,which can effectively improve the service life of the slit-type purging plug.

Liquid crystals are a vital component of modern photonics,and recent studies have demonstrated the exceptional sensing properties of stimuli-responsive cholesteric liquid ***,existing cholesteric liquid crystal-based sensors often rely on the naked eye perceptibility of structural color or the measurement of wavelength changes by spectrometric tools,which limits their practical ***,developing a platform that produces recognizable sensing signals is *** this study,we present a visual sensing platform based on geometric phase encoding of stimuli-responsive cholesteric liquid crystal polymers that generates real-time visual patterns,rather than frequency *** demonstrate this platform’s effectiveness,we used a humidity-responsive cholesteric liquid crystal polymer film encoded with a q-plate pattern,which revealed that humidity causes a shape change in the vortex beam reflected from the encoded cholesteric liquid crystal ***,we developed a prototype platform towards remote humidity monitoring benefiting from the high directionality and long-range transmission properties of laser beams carrying orbital angular *** approach provides a novel sensing platform for cholesteric liquid crystals-based sensors that offers promising practical *** ability to generate recognizable sensing signals through visual patterns offers a new level of practicality in the sensing field with stimuli-responsive cholesteric liquid *** platform might have significant implications for a broad readership and will be of interest to researchers working in the field of photonics and sensing technology.

Nowadays,the majority of the studies on the substitution are focused on cations(such as Y^(3+),Ti^(4+),P^(5+),etc.)in Li_(1.3)Al_(0.3)Ti_(1.7)(PO_(4))_(3)(LATP),while there are few studies on the substitution of anion O^(2.).In this work,the modified LATP with a series of LiCl(LATPClx,x=0.1,0.2.0.3,0.4)additives is prepared to enhance ionic *** successful introduction of Cl-makes the length of the c axis decrease from 2..82.(2.to 2..792.1)Å,and the bulk conductivity of 2.13×10^(-3) S·cm^(-1) is achieved in LATPCl_(0.3).Moreover,the Al/Ti-O1/Cl1 and Al/Ti-O_(2./Cl_(2. distance decrease,while the Li1-O_(2./Cl_(2. distance *** ions migrate more easily in the nanochannel of *** addition,the LiCl additive increases the relative density and the grain boundary conductivity of LATPClx ***,a higher ionic conductivity of 2.12.10^(–4) S·cm^(-1) and a low activation energy of 0.30 eV are obtained in LATPCl_(0.3).Correspondingly,the symmetric cell exhibits a low overpotential of±50 mV for over 2.0 h in LATPCl_(0.3).The solid-state Li|LATPCl_(0.3)|NCM811(NCM811=LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O_(2.)battery exhibits high initial capacity 185.1 mAh·g^(-1) with a capacity retention rate of 95.4%after 100 cycles at 0.5 *** result suggests that LiCl additive is an effective strategy to promote electrochemical properties of LATP solid electrolyte and can be considered for reference to other inorganic solid electrolytes systems.

This study investigated the formation mechanism of new grains due to twin–twin intersections in a coarse-grained Mg–6Al–3Sn–2.n alloy during different strain rates of an isothermal *** results of electron backscattered diffraction investigations showed that the activated twins were primarily{1012.tension twins,and 60°boundaries formed due to twin–twin intersections under different strain *** twin variants with 60°boundaries transformed into new grains through lattice rotations at a low strain rate(0.01 s^(−1)).At a high strain rate(10 s^(−1)),the regions surrounded by subgrain boundaries through high-density dislocation arrangement and the 60°boundaries transformed into new grains via dynamic recrystallization.

In this paper,we obtain the thickness for some complete k-partite graphs for k=2.*** first compute the thickness of K_(n,n+8)by giving a planar decomposition of K_(4k-1,4k+7)for k≥***,two planar decompositions for K_(1,g,g)(g-1)when g is even and for K^(1,g,1/2.g-1)2.when g is odd are *** a recursive construction,we also obtain the thickness for some complete tripartite *** results here support the long-standing conjecture that the thickness of K_(m,n)is[mn/2.m+n-2.]for any positive integers m,n.
