Epidemiological characteristics of tuberculosis incidence and its macro-influence factors in Chinese mainland during 2014–2021

Background Tuberculosis (TB) remains a pressing public health issue, posing a significant threat to individuals'' well-being and lives. This study delves into the TB incidence in Chinese mainland during 2014–2021, aiming to gain deeper insights into their epidemiological characteristics and explore macro-level factors to enhance control and *** TB incidence data in Chinese mainland from 2014 to 2021 were sourced from the National Notifiable Disease Reporting System (NNDRS). A two-stage distributed lag nonlinear model (DLNM) was constructed to evaluate the lag and non-linearity of daily average temperature (℃, Atemp), average relative humidity (%, ARH), average wind speed (m/s, AWS), sunshine duration (h, SD) and precipitation (mm, PRE) on the TB incidence. A spatial panel data model was used to assess the impact of demographic, medical and health resource, and economic factors on TB *** A total of 6,587,439 TB cases were reported in Chinese mainland during 2014–2021, with an average annual incidence rate of 59.17/100,000. The TB incidence decreased from 67.05/100,000 in 2014 to 46.40/100,000 in 2021, notably declining from 2018 to 2021 (APC =-8.87%, 95%CI: -11.97, -6.85%). TB incidence rates were higher among males, farmers, and individuals aged 65 years and older. Spatiotemporal analysis revealed a significant cluster in Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Xizang from March 2017 to June 2019 (RR= 3.94,P 71.73%), low sunshine duration (< 6.18 h) increased the risk of TB incidence, while extreme low wind speed (< 2.79 m/s) decreased the risk. Dear Editor,We have treated two patients of glucocorticoid-induced glaucoma with penetrating canaloplasty(PCP)since *** is a new type internal drainage surgery for glaucoma,which is a bleb-independent filtering surgery combined canaloplasty with trabeculectomy,and the surgery shows a great efficacy of intraocular pressure(IOP)reduction with no surgical *** surgery started with a fornix-based conjunctival flap and double scleral flap,and Schlemm’s canal was opened,a 10-0 prolene suture was positioned and tensioned within Schlemm’s canal,trabucular meshwork segment was excised and peripheral iridectomy was performed,the scleral flap and the conjunctival flap were closed watertight with 10-0 prolene sutures.

Pulmonary diseases across all ages threaten millions of people and have emerged as one of the major public health issues *** diverse disease con-ditions,the currently available approaches are focused on alleviating clinical symptoms and delaying disease progression but have not shown significant therapeutic effects in patients with lung *** umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells(UC-MSCs)isolated from the human UC have the capacity for self-renewal and multilineage ***,in recent years,these cells have been demonstrated to have unique advantages in the treatment of lung *** searched the Public Clinical Trial Database and found 55 clinical trials involving UC-MSC therapy for pulmonary diseases,including coronavirus disease 2019,acute respiratory distress syndrome,bron-chopulmonary dysplasia,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,and pulmonary *** this review,we summarize the characteristics of these registered clinical trials and relevant published results and explore in depth the challenges and opportunitiesfaced in clinical ***,the underlying mole-cular mechanisms involved in UC-MSC-based therapy for pulmonary diseases are also analyzed in *** brief,this comprehensive review and detailed analysis of these clinical trials can be expected to provide a scientific reference for future large-scale clinical application.

BACKGROUND Gastric ulcers(GUs)have a high risk of clinical morbidity and recurrence,and further exploration is needed for the prevention,diagnosis,and treatment of the *** To investigated the effects of a diet plan on pepsinogen(PG)I,PG II,gastrin-17(G-17)levels and nutritional status in patients with *** A total of 100 patients with GUs treated between May 2022 and May 2023 were enrolled,with 47 patients in the control group receiving routine nursing and 53 patients in the experimental group receiving dietary nursing intervention based on a diet *** study compared the two groups in terms of nursing efficacy,adverse events(vomiting,acid reflux,and celialgia),time to symptom improvement(burning sensation,acid reflux,and celialgia),gastric function(PG I,PG II,and G-17 levels),and nutritional status[prealbumin(PA)and albumin(ALB)levels].RESULTS The experimental group showed a markedly higher total effective rate of nursing,a significantly lower incidence of adverse events,and a shorter time to symptom improvement than the control ***,the experimental group’s post-intervention PG I,PG II,and G-17 levels were significantly lower than preintervention or control group levels,whereas PA and ALB levels were significantly *** The diet plan significantly reduced PG I,PG II,and G-17 levels in patients with GUs and significantly improved their nutritional status.

目的报告国内首例抗神经丝重链抗体相关脑炎病例,并复习相关文献,总结抗神经丝重链抗体相关脑炎的临床特征。方法与结果 1例63岁女性抗神经丝重链抗体相关脑炎患者临床表现为认知功能障碍、反复癫痫发作、失语;头部MRI显示双侧额顶叶多发异常信号,部分脑回略肿胀,幕上脑室系统扩张,脑萎缩以双侧颞叶、海马为甚;18F-DPA714 PET/MRI显示额颞顶枕叶多脑区局灶性摄取异常增高,提示神经炎症;脑电图呈频繁痫样放电;脑脊液白细胞计数和葡萄糖升高,血清和脑脊液自身免疫性脑炎相关抗体阴性,血清TBA法显示小脑神经丝样荧光包绕浦肯野细胞,进一步检测抗神经丝蛋白抗体,血清抗神经丝重链抗体强阳性(1∶1000)。临床诊断为抗神经丝重链抗体相关脑炎,予静脉注射免疫球蛋白和甲泼尼龙治疗,预后改善。结论抗神经丝重链抗体相关脑炎临床罕见,临床表现多样,早期诊断与鉴别诊断困难,早期予以免疫治疗对预后至关重要。

Experimental evidence for the mechanism of subcritical vortex-induced vibration

The vortex-induced vibration(VIV)of circle cylinder can occur at subcritical Reynolds numbers as low as 20,which is called subcritical *** numerical research suggests that the interaction of fluid mode and structural mode is the primary cause of its *** to the limitations of experimental techniques and data analysis methods,researchers failed to find experimental evidence to support this *** this end,we conducted subcritical VIV tests in a rotating channel and discovered that the flow is unstable when subcritical VIV ***,an experimental data-driven model for unsteady flow is *** coupling the unsteady flow model with the structural dynamic equations,we constructed the FSI model for subcritical *** performing linear stability analysis on the FSI model,we found that there are two key modes in the FSI system,namely fluid mode and structural *** two modes will couple when the structural natural frequency is close to the characteristic frequency of the flow,resulting in the instability of structural mode and thus inducing subcritical *** experimental finding clarifies that subcritical VIV is essentially flutter as a result of structural mode instability,providing the first experimental evidence for the mechanism of subcritical VIV.

Determination of Water Sorption in Freestanding Epoxy Film by Capacitance Method Using EIS

Electrochemical impedance spectra （EIS） technique was adopted to evaluate the water sorption behaviour of an epoxy freestanding film in a 0.5 mol/L sodium chloride solution at 20℃. The methods for obtaining the capacitance data from EIS data were compared. The Brasher-Kingsbury （BK） and corresponding modified version （Modi-BK） models were used to calculate the water uptake in film and the gravimetric results were presented for comparisons. According to the discussion of the discrepancy of water content in film obtained from two models, a new method was proposed to indicate the organic film structure.
