Natural killer T cell lymphoma(NKTCL)is highly aggressive,with advanced stage patients poorly responding to intensive *** explore effective and safe treatment for newly diagnosed advanced stage NKTCL,we conducted a phase ll study of anti-metabolic agent pegaspargase plus PD-1 antibody sintilimab(NCT04096690).Twenty-two patients with a median age of 51 years(range,24-74)were enrolled and treated with induction treatment of pegaspargase 2500 IU/m2 intramuscularly on day 1 and sintilimab 200 mg intravenously on day 2 for 6 cycles of 21 days,followed by maintenance treatment of sintilimab 200 mg for 28 cycles of 21 *** complete response and overall response rate after induction treatment were 59%(95%Cl,43-79%)and 68%(95%Cl,47-84%),*** a median follow-up of 30 months,the 2 year progression-free and overall survival rates were 68%(95%Cl,45-83%)and 86%(95%Cl,63-95%),*** most frequently grade 3/4 adverse events were neutropenia(32%,n=7)and hypofibrinogenemia(18%,n=4),which were manageable and led to no discontinuation of *** proportion score of PD-L1,peripheral blood high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,and apolipoprotein A-l correlated with good response,while PD-1 on tumor infiltrating lymphocytes and peripheral Treg cells with poor response to pegaspargase plus sintilimab *** conclusion,the chemo-free regimen pegaspargase plus sintilimab was effective and safe in newly diagnosed,advanced stage *** lipid profle and immunosuppressive signature contributed to treatment resistance,providing an alternative therapeutic approach dual targeting fatty acid metabolism and CTLA-4 in NKTCL.

Accurately tracking hypersonic gliding vehicles via an LEO mega-constellation in relay tracking mode

In order to effectively defend against the threats of the hypersonic gliding vehicles(HGVs),HGVs should be tracked as early as possible,which is beyond the capability of the ground-based *** benefited by the developing megaconstellations in low-Earth orbit,this paper proposes a relay tracking mode to track HGVs to overcome the above *** whole tracking mission is composed of several tracking intervals with the same *** each tracking interval,several appropriate satellites are dispatched to track the *** that are planned to take part in the tracking mission are selected by a new derived observability *** tracking performances of the proposed tracking mode and the other two traditional tracking modes,including the stare and track-rate modes,are compared by *** results show that the relay tracking mode can track the whole trajectory of a HGV,while the stare mode can only provide a very short tracking ***,the relay tracking mode achieve higher tracking accuracy with fewer attitude controls than the track-rate mode.

A multi-agent collaboration scheme for energy-efficient task scheduling in a 3D UAV-MEC space

Multi-access edge computing(MEC)presents computing services at the edge of networks to address the enormous processing requirements of intelligent *** to the maneuverability of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs),they can be used as temporal aerial edge nodes for providing edge services to ground users in ***,MEC environment is usually dynamic and *** is a challenge for multiple UAVs to select appropriate service ***,most of existing works study UAV-MEC with the assumption that the flight heights of UAVs are fixed;i.e.,the flying is considered to occur with reference to a two-dimensional plane,which neglects the importance of the *** this paper,with consideration of the co-channel interference,an optimization problem of energy efficiency is investigated to maximize the number of fulfilled tasks,where multiple UAVs in a threedimensional space collaboratively fulfill the task computation of ground *** the formulated problem,we try to obtain the optimal flight and sub-channel selection strategies for UAVs and schedule strategies for *** on the multi-agent deep deterministic policy gradient(MADDPG)algorithm,we propose a curiosity-driven and twin-networks-structured MADDPG(CTMADDPG)algorithm to solve the formulated *** uses the inner reward to facilitate the state exploration of agents,avoiding convergence at the sub-optimal ***,we adopt the twin critic networks for update stabilization to reduce the probability of Q value *** simulation results show that CTMADDPG is outstanding in maximizing the energy efficiency of the whole system and outperforms the other benchmarks.

Human endogenous retroviruses as epigenetic therapeutic targets in TP53-mutated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma

TP53 mutation(TP53^(mut))occurs in 10–20%of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)cases and serves as an unfavorable biomarker of DLBCL *** confers resistance to immunochemotherapy,high-dose chemotherapy,autologous stem cell transplantation,and anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T-cell *** targeting of TP53^(mut) remains a significant challenge in DLBCL *** we assessed TP53^(mut) in 667 patients with newly diagnosed DLBCL,including 576 patients treated with immunochemotherapy rituximab,cyclophosphamide,doxorubicin,vincristine,and prednisone(R-CHOP)and 91 patients with decitabine plus R-CHOP(DR-CHOP,NCT02951728 and NCT04025593).TP53^(mut) independently predicted an inferior prognosis in R-CHOP-treated DLBCL,although this could be mitigated by DR-CHOP *** TP53^(mut) patients,multiple viral regulation pathways were repressed,resulting in the inhibition of immune modulation,as revealed by gene set enrichment ***53^(mut) DLBCL exhibited increased methyltransferase SUV39H1 expression and H3K9 trimethylation(H3K9me3),contributing to repression of endogenous retroviruses(ERVs)and immunosuppressive tumor *** TP53^(mut) DLBCL cell lines,decitabine down-regulated SUV39H1,inhibited H3K9me3 occupancy on ERVs,and triggered ERV expression,thereby unleashing interferons program and CD4^(+)T/CD8^(+)T cell *** silencing of SUV39H1 significantly abrogated decitabine-induced H3K9me3 inhibition and ERV *** TP53^(mut) patient-derived xenograft models and TP53^(mut) patients,the anti-tumor effect was improved upon the use of combined treatment of decitabine and doxorubicin via SUV39H1-H3K9me3-ERVs ***,our findings highlight an ERV regulatory circuitry in TP53^(mut) DLBCL and the crucial roles ERVs for epigenetically reprogramming tumor microenvironment for treating TP53^(mut)-driven cancers.

An improved deep dilated convolutional neural network for seismic facies interpretation

With the successful application and breakthrough of deep learning technology in image segmentation,there has been continuous development in the field of seismic facies interpretation using convolutional neural *** intelligent and automated methods significantly reduce manual labor,particularly in the laborious task of manually labeling seismic ***,the extensive demand for training data imposes limitations on their wider *** overcome this challenge,we adopt the UNet architecture as the foundational network structure for seismic facies classification,which has demonstrated effective segmentation results even with small-sample training ***,we integrate spatial pyramid pooling and dilated convolution modules into the network architecture to enhance the perception of spatial information across a broader *** seismic facies classification test on the public data from the F3 block verifies the superior performance of our proposed improved network structure in delineating seismic facies *** analysis against the traditional UNet model reveals that our method achieves more accurate predictive classification results,as evidenced by various evaluation metrics for image ***,the classification accuracy reaches an impressive 96%.Furthermore,the results of seismic facies classification in the seismic slice dimension provide further confirmation of the superior performance of our proposed method,which accurately defines the range of different seismic *** approach holds significant potential for analyzing geological patterns and extracting valuable depositional information.

Impact of Mo/Ni alloying on microstructural modulation and low-temperature toughness of high-strength low-alloy steel

The high-strength low-alloy steel plates with varying Ni/Mo contents were manufactured using the thermos-mechanical control *** investigation was conducted to explore the effect of Ni/Mo microalloying on microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of the *** results revealed that the increase in Ni content from 1 to 2 wt.%reduced the transition temperature of ferrite and the growth range of ferritic grain was narrowed,which promoted grain *** optimized combination of grain size,high-angle grain boundaries(HAGBs),and martensite-austenite(M-A)islands parameter contributed to the excellent impact toughness of S1 steel at-100℃(impact absorbed energy of 218.2 J at-100℃).As the Mo increases from 0 to 2 wt.%,the matrix structure changes from multiphase structure to granular bainite,which increases the average effective grain size to~4.62 pm and reduces HAGBs proportion to~36.22%.With these changes,the low-temperature impact toughness of S3 steel is *** addition,based on the analysis of the characteristics of crack propagation path,it was found that M-A islands with low content(~2.21%)and small size(~1.76 pm)significantly retarded crack propagation,and the fracture model of M-A islands with different morphologies was further ***,correlation between behaviour of delamination and toughness was further analysed by observing delamination size and impact energy parameters.

limits of Uneven Battery Power in Modular Multilevel Converter-based Battery Energy Storage Systems

For modular multilevel converter-based battery energy storage systems (MMC-BESS), uneven power among batteries of SMs will be deduced by battery aging, battery fault, etc., which will degrade performance and even lead to system failure. For maintaining the balance of capacitor voltage, this paper analyzes the limits of the uneven power of batteries, which are presented as the current limits in this paper. According to analysis, an analytical method is proposed that only the dc and fundamental frequency components of the arm current are used to calculate current limits. With the current limits it is able to evaluate the reasonability of power distribution among batteries. Meanwhile, increase of fundamental frequency component will enhance the current limits, and the dc component determines the size relationship between the absolute values of the upper and lower current limits. Finally, simulation model and experiment prototype are built for verifying the theoretical analysis and current limits calculation method, and satisfactory results are provided.

Migration of a Hem-o-Lok clip to the renal pelvis after laparoscopic partial nephrectomy:A case report

BACKGROUND Hem-o-Lok clip(HOLC)has been widely used in laparoscopic surgery due to its ease of application and secure clamping,though the rare complications associated with this technique should not be *** rare complications of laparoscopic partial nephrectomy consist of the clip migrating into the renal pelvis and acting as a nidus for stone *** SUMMARY The case described here involved a 63-year-old woman who was found with stones in the right kidney and upper ureter during a recent reexamination following laparoscopic partial *** performed percutaneous nephrolithotomy for her,but during the operation,it was found that the center of the stone within the kidney was a HOLC,which was removed with *** this reason,we speculate that the HOLC,which was employed to halt tumor wound bleeding,spontaneously drifted into the renal pelvis and formed kidney stones,with the clip being initially misdiagnosed as a kidney *** By reviewing related case reports,we conclude that in order to prevent complications related to HOLC,loose clips should be actively searched for and retrieved from the wound during urinary tract surgery,while the deployment of clips in close proximity of anastomotic stoma of collecting systems should be avoided.

Enhanced stability of nitrogen-doped carbon-supported palladium catalyst for oxidative carbonylation of phenol

Enhancing the stability of supported noble metal catalysts emerges is a major challenge in both science and ***,a heterogeneous Pd catalyst(Pd/NCF)was prepared by supporting Pd ultrafine metal nanoparticles(NPs)on nitrogen-doped carbon;synthesized by using F127 as a stabilizer,as well as chitosan as a carbon and nitrogen *** Pd/NCF catalyst was efficient and recyclable for oxidative carbonylation of phenol to diphenyl carbonate,exhibiting higher stability than Pd/NC prepared without F127 *** hydrogen bond between chitosan(CTS)and F127 was enhanced by F127,which anchored the N in the free amino group,increasing the N content of the carbon material and ensuring that the support could provide sufficient N sites for the deposition of Pd *** process helped to improve metal *** increased metal-support interaction,which limits the leaching and coarsening of Pd NPs,improves the stability of the Pd/NCF ***,density functional theory calculations indicated that pyridine N stabilized the Pd^(2+)species,significantly inhibiting the loss of Pd^(2+)in Pd/NCF during the reaction *** work provides a promising avenue towards enhancing the stability of nitrogen-doped carbon-supported metal catalysts.

Enhanced thermoelectric and mechanical properties of Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_(3) alloy with dispersed yttrium oxide ceramic nanoparticles

Reducing thermal conductivity while avoiding adverse interfacial reactions during sintering is crucial for improving the thermoelectric performance of Bi_(2)Te_(3)based *** ceramic nanoparticles are good candidates for achieving this *** this study,we designed and prepared a series of p-type Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_(3)nanocomposites decorated with Y_(2)O_(3)ceramic nanoparticles via ball-milling dispersion and spark-plasma *** to the chemical stability of the ceramics,no traces of atomic doping or interfacial reactions were *** measurements revealed that the Y_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles distributed along the grain boundaries acted as energy-dependent carrier-filtering centers to improve the scattering parameter and Seebeck coefficient,contributing to the elevated power factor even with a decreased electrical ***,the incorporated Y_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles and various defect structures they induced effectively strengthened the phonon scattering and suppressed the lattice thermal ***,a peak figure of merit(ZT)of 1.23 at 313 K was achieved for 0.4%Y_(2)O_(3)/Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_(3),which is 13%higher than that of the *** addition,the Vickers hardness of the composite material was 35%higher than that of the *** study demonstrates the effectiveness of ceramic nanoparticles in synergistic ally improving the thermoelectric and mechanical properties,which may be further extended to other thermoelectric systems.
