The solar-driven reduction of CO_(2) into valuable products is a promising method to alleviate global environmental problems and energy ***,the low surface charge density limits the photocatalytic conversion performance of CO_(2).Herein,a polymeric carbon nitride(PCn)photocatalyst with Zn single atoms(Zn1/Cn)was designed and synthesized for CO_(2) *** results of the CO_(2) photoreduction studies show that the CO and CH_(4) yields of Zn1/Cn increased fivefold,reaching 76.9 and 22.9μmol/(g·h),respectively,in contrast to the unmodified ***+plasma-etched X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and synchrotron radiation-based X-ray absorption fine structure results reveal that Zn single atom is mainly present in the interlayer space of PCn in the Zn–n_(4) *** characterizations indicate that the interlayer Zn–n_(4) configuration can amplify light absorption and establish an interlayer charge transfer ***-assisted kelvin probe force microscopy confirms that more photogenerated electrons are delivered to the catalyst surface through interlayer Zn–n_(4) configuration,which increases its surface charge ***,in-situ infrared spectroscopy combined with density functional theory calculation reveals that promoted surface charge density accelerates key intermediates(*COOH)conversion,thus achieving efficient CO_(2) *** work elucidates the role of internal single atoms in catalytic surface reactions,which provides important implications for the design of single-atom catalysts.

nitrogen fixation is a complex process involving the transfer of six electrons and *** from the conventional Haber-Bosch process,which relies on hydrogen(H_(2))to provide both electrons and protons to reduce nitrogen(n_(2)),homogeneous transition metal complex-catalyzed n_(2)reduction reactions(nRR)employ an array of electron and proton donors or even electron donors combined with *** the synthesis of diverse catalytic progress,the categories of donors have seen rapid ***,existing literature only provides summaries regarding the metal,ligands,and *** the significance of electron and proton donor combinations in nitrogen reduction reactions,no literature has thoroughly reviewed this ***,we hereby compiled a comprehensive list of commonly used reagents in n_(2)reduction and classified them according to their specific donor *** review presents clear and organized information about these combinations,along with a summary of their general performance trend in nRR with related ***,we conclude the discussion by highlighting key points for researchers to consider when selecting catalysts and donor combinations,with the ultimate goal of advancing the field of nitrogen fixation.

The successful synthesis of the pentazolate anion(cyclo-n-5)has been a great breakthrough in the field of energetic ***,the detection methods for these energetic materials based on the pentazolate anion are quite ***,two fluorescent probes for cyclo-n-5anion were *** 1(TPE2n)was synthesized with a tetraphenylethylene functionalized by two cationic groups which can generate strong electrostatic interactions with pentazolate anion and result in specific fluorescent *** 2 was designed based on sensor 1 and supramolecular cucurbit[7]uril(CB[7]).The unique structural features of CB[7]provide sites for the interaction between the cations and n-5anion in its cavity,which would generate a platform for the detection and enhance the recognition *** titration calorimetry(ITC)experiment and fluorescence titration experiment indicate the binding molar ratio between sensor 1 with CB[7]is 1:*** sensors display typical aggregation-induced emission(AIE)features and good *** sensors demonstrate excellent sensitivity to pentazole hydrazine salt with high enhancement constant(sensor 1:1.34×10^(6);sensor 2:3.78×10^(6))and low limit of detection(LOD:sensor 1=4.33μM;sensor 2=1.54μM).The formation of an AIE-based supramolecular sensor effectively improves the sensitivity to *** addition,the probes also have good selectivity of n-5anion *** research would shed some light on the design of novel fluorescent sensors to detect pentazolate-based molecules and provides an example of supramolecular chemistry combined with fluorescent probes.

This study investigated the application of electrical resistance tomography(ERT)in characterizing the slurry spatial distribution in cemented granular materials(CGMs).For CGM formed by self-flow grouting,the voids in the accumulation are only partially filled and the bond strength is often limited,which results in difficulty in obtaining in situ samples for quality ***,it is usually infeasible to evaluate the grouting effect or monitor the slurry spatial distribution by a mechanical *** this research,the process of grouting cement paste into high alumina ceramic beads(HACB)accumulation is reliably monitored with *** shows that ERT results can be used to calculate the cement paste volume in the HACB accumulation,based on calibrating the saturation exponent n in Archie’s *** results support the feasibility of ERT as an imaging tool in CGM characterization and may provide guidance for engineering applications in the future.

A nonsymmetrical Pnn pincer ligand[6-(^(t)Bu_(2)PnH)C_(5)H_(4)n-2-(3-Mes)C_(3)H_(2)n_(2)]and its corresponding cobalt-n_(2)complex were synthesized and *** the stoichiometric reaction of the Pnn ligand lithium salt with CoCl_(2),the complex 3,(Pnn)CoCl,was ***,reduction of 3 with naBHEt3under a dinitrogen atmosphere yielded complex 5,(Pnn)Co(Ⅰ)(η^(1)-n_(2)).Single-crystal X-ray analysis,IR spectrum,and DFT calculations revealed that the dinitrogen in 5 was only weakly reduced by the cobalt *** reactions of 5 with carbon monoxide and 2,6-dimethylphenyl isocyanide gave carbonyl and isocyanide complexes 6 and 7 with the release of n_(2),***,these cobalt complexes,especially complex 5,demonstrated the capacity to convert dinitrogen to n(TMS)_(3)with moderate efficiency.
