A novelγ-γ'(Ni solid solution—Ni_(3)Al)NiPtAl coating was produced on advanced single-crystal(SC)superalloy N5 by electroplating of a thin Pt coating with~3μm in thickness followed by heat treatment at 1000℃in *** comparison,a traditionalγ-γ'NiPtAl coating was also produced by electroplating of a thick Pt coating with~6μm in thickness followed by heat treatment at 1100℃in *** novel coating has a mass gain of~0.5 mg·cm^(-2)after 100 h 1-h cyclic oxidation at 1150℃,showing better oxidation resistance than the traditional *** oxide scale mostly consisting ofα-Al_(2)O_(3)grew on the novel coating because the element Cr from the SC alloy substrate contributes to the formation ofα-Al_(2)O_(3).Pt content in the novel coating has significant effect on the oxidation *** optimized Pt content in the coating is about 16 at%,which is helpful to reduce the diffusion of harmful elements from the substrate into the coating but also to reduce the cost of the coating.

A monolayer which is formed by a binuclear palladium complex of low rim methionine-disubstituted calix[4]arene exhibits extraordinary cohesiveness. Cohesiveness measurement and Brewster Angle Microscopy observation show that the monolayer is uniform and robust. This film is probably formed by self-assembly of precursor complex through strong chloride ion bridge between palladium centers.

Urea plays a vital role in the sustainable development of mankind as it is one of the most important nitrogen *** synthesis of urea is accompanied by a high level of energy consumption while electrocatalytic methods suffer from low yields and poor *** work achieves efficient synthesis of urea by designing the graphene-In_(2)O_(3)electrocatalysts for the co-activated reduction of nitrate and carbon dioxide,where the formation rate of urea,Faraday efficiency(FE)and carbon selectivity at-0.35 V *** can reach 357.47μg mg^(-1)h^(-1),10.46%and~100%,***,the key intermediates in the C–N coupling reaction are demonstrated to be*NH_(2)and*CO_(2),which is of novelty compared to previous *** work may provide inspiration for subsequent studies on the reaction mechanism of the electrochemical synthesis of urea,as well as theoretical guidance for the sustainable synthesis of some other important chemical substances.

Electrochemical nitrate reduction reaction (NITRR) is regarded as a “two birds-one stone” method for the treatment of nitrate contaminant in polluted water and the synthesis of valuable ammonia, which is retarded by the lack of highly reactive and selective electrocatalysts .herein, for the first time, nickel foam supported Co_(4) N was designed as a high-performance NITRR catalyst by an in-situ nonmetal leaching-induced *** the optimal potential, the Co_(4) N/NF catalyst achieves ultra-high Faraday efficiency and NH_(3) selectivity of 95.4% and 99.4%, *** situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), together with other experiments powerfully reveal that the nitrogen vacancies produced by nitrogen leaching are stable and play a key role in boosting nitrate reduction to *** calculations confirm that Co_(4) N with abundant nitrogen vacancies can optimize the adsorption energies of NO_(3)^(-) and intermediates, lower the free energy (Δ G ) of the potential-determining step (*NH_(3) to NH_(3) ) and inhibit the formation of N-containing *** addition, we also conclude that the nitrogen vacancies can stabilize the adsorbed hydrogen, making H_(2) quite difficult to produce, and lowering ΔG from *NO to *NOH, which facilitates the selective reduction of *** study reveals significant insights about the in-situ nonmetal leaching to enhance the NITRR activity.

Two new iridium complexes, （dfppy）2Ir（L-alanine）（dfppy-2-（2,4-difluorophenyl）pyridine） and （piq）21r（L-alanine）（piq - 1-phenylisoquinoline） were prepared with L-alanine as ancillary ligand. The two complexes show bright greenish-blue and red emission respectively. Theoretic study demonstrated that the emission nature of these complexes is mainly determined by the main ligand. And their improved aqueous solubility and the retained quantum yield favor their application in cell imaging. Intracellular imaging suggested that these two complexes have fine cell membrane permeability and is mainly distributed in cytoplasm. This study displayed a new strategy to design aqueous soluble phosphorescent cyclometallated if（Ⅲ） complex via introducing amino acid as ancillary ligand.

An efficient mass transfer process is a critical factor for regulating catalytic activity in a photocatalytic desulfurization ***,a phosphotungstic acid(HPW)active center is successfully composited with a quaternary ammonium phosphotungstate-based hexadecyltrimethylammonium chloride ionic liquid(CTAC-HPW)by the ion exchange method for the photocatalytic oxidative desulfurization of dibenzothiophene *** keggin structure of HPW and highly mass transfer performance of organic cations synergistically enhanced the photocatalytic activity towards the effective convertion of dibenzothiophene(DBT)with the excitation of visible *** deep desulfurization(he CTAC-HPW photocatalyst projects well selectivity to interference from coexisting compounds such as olefins and aromatic hydrocarbons and universality of dibenzothiophenes,for example,4-methyldibenzothiophene(4-MDBT)and 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene(4,6-DMDBT).Ultimately,a possible photocatalytic desulfurization mechanism is proposed according to the Gaschromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS),proving that the final product is the corresponding *** trapping experiment and electron spin resonance(ESR)analysis confirmed that h^(+)and,COOH played critical roles in the oxidation *** work offers a practicable strategy for efficiently converting DBT to DBTO_(2) with added value.

MXene-contained paper is a good choice to design ultrathin and flexible electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding ***,the deficiencies in strength and stability of MXene-contained paper impede its practical ***,a composite paper was proposed to address the problems,in which a filter paper was modified with a three-layer structured surface via a facile layer-by-layer coating ***,the TEMPO-oxidized cellulose nanofibers(TOCN)/cationic starch(CS)/MXene gel layer and TOCN/MXene nacre structure layer ensured the good EMI shielding and mechanical performances of the composite paper,while the uppermost TOCN/CS hydrogel film layer mainly protected *** composite paper achieved an EMI SE of 40.3 dB at a thickness of merely 0.1894 mm(SE/t value of ca.212.8 dB mm^(−1),SSE/t values of ca.13216 dB cm 2 g^(−1))and the total MXene dosage was 20 g m^(−2).Its tensile strength could be up to 11.7 MPa while the original filter paper was 6.4 *** pieces of this composite papers could be easily packed together to attain an EMI SE of nearly 70 ***,the hydrogel film layer efficiently protected the MXene and maintained the EMI shielding performance of the composite paper when immersed in different liquids including water,HCl(1 M)and ethanol,due to the dense and compact structure of hydrogel film *** work provides a practical way to develop ultrathin,flexible and durable EMI shielding materials.

Lacustrine shale oil and gas are important fields for unconventional exploration and development in China,and organic-rich shale deposition lays down the critical foundation for hydrocarbon *** are two sets of shale,the Dongyuemiao and Da’anzhai Members,in the Ziliujing Formation in the Sichuan *** identify the differential enrichment characteristics of organic matter and clarify its controlling factors,geochemical analyses of organic and inorganic geochemical analyses were *** results showed that the total organic carbon content of the Dongyuemiao shale(1.36%)is slightly higher than that of the Da’anzhai shale(0.95%).The enrichment of organic matter in the two shales resulted from the comprehensive controls of paleoproductivity,paleoenvironment,and terrigenous input,but different factors have different *** addition,driven by climate,the change in the sulfate concentration in the bottom water further led to the different intensities of bacterial sulfate reduction in early *** made a great difference regarding organic matter accumulation in the two *** general,climate may have played a dominant role in organic matter enrichment in the two sets of shale.
