Deriving atmospheric parameters of a large sample of stars is of vital importance to understand the formation and evolution of the Milky *** surveys,especially those with near-ultraviolet filters,can offer accurate measurements of stellar parameters,with the precision comparable to that from low/medium resolution *** this study,we explore the capability of measuring stellar atmospheric parameters from Chinese Space Station Telescope(CSST)broad-band photometry(particularly in the near-ultraviolet bands),based on synthetic colors derived from model *** find that colors from the optical and near-ultraviolet filter systems adopted by CSST show significant sensitivities to the stellar atmospheric parameters,especially the *** to our mock data tests,the precision of the photometric metallicity is quite high,with typical values of0.17 and 0.20 dex for dwarf and giant stars,*** precision of the effective temperature estimated from broad-band colors are within 50 K.

Both morphology and composition have a great influence on the properties and functions of materials,however,how to rational modulate both of them to achieve their synergistic effects has been a longstanding ***,we demonstrate a competitive assembling strategy for the construction of metal-free graphite carbon nitride(CN)homojunctions in which morphology and composition can be easily controlled simultaneously by only changing the ratio of assembly raw *** homojunctions are comprised of porous nanotubular S-doped CN(SCN)grafted with CN nanovesicles,which are derived from thermal polycondensation of melamine-thiocyanuric acid(M-T)/melamine-cyanuric acid(M-C)supramolecular hybrid *** unique architecture and component engineering endows the novel SCN-CN homojunction with abundant active sites,enhanced visible trapping ability,and intimate interface *** a result,the synthesized SCN-CN homojunctions demonstrate high photocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution and pollutant *** developed strategy opens up intriguing opportu-nities for the rational construction of intricate metal-free heterostructures with controllable architecture and interfacial contact for applications in energy-related fields.

Background Infantile epileptic spasms syndrome(IESS)is a serious disease in infants,and it usually evolves to other epilepsy types or syndromes,especially refractory or super-refractory focal *** adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH)is one of the first-line and effective treatment plans for IESS,it has serious side effects and is not sufficiently *** A retrospective study of the clinical outcomes of ACTH combined with magnesium sulfate(MgSO4)therapy for IESS in two hospital centers was *** major outcome of the single and combined treatment was evaluated by changes in seizure frequency and improvements in hypsarrhythmia electroencephalography(EEG).To reduce the confounding bias between the two groups,we used SPSS for the propensity score matching(PSM)*** We initially recruited 1205 IESS patients from two Chinese hospitals and treated them with ACTH combined with MgSO4 and ACTH *** 1005 patients were enrolled in the treatment(ACTH combined with MgSO4:744,ACTH:261),and both treatment plans had a more than 55%response ***,compared to patients treated with ACTH alone,those patients treated with ACTH combined with MgSO4 had better performance in terms of the seizure frequency and hypsarrhythmia *** PSM,the two groups also showed significant differences in responder rate[70.8%(95%confidence interval,CI)=66.7%–74.8%)vs.53.8%(95%CI=47.4%–60.2%),P3 months(P<0.05).In addition,the overall incidence of adverse reactions in the ACTH combined with MgSO4 group was much lower than that in the ACTH group(31.4%vs.63.1%,P<0.001).During the treatment,only

Aerodynamic forces and dynamic performances of railway vehicles are coupled and affected by each other. On the one hand, aerodynamic forces change the displacements of a train. On the other hand, displacements affect aerodynamic forces. Based on vehicle-track coupling dynamics and aerodynamics, a numerical approach to the interaction between airflow and a high-speed train is presented in this paper. Aerodynamic forces and dynamic performances of a high-speed train subjected to crosswind were numerically simulated. Results showed that the interaction between airflow and a high-speed train has a significant influence on displacements and aerodynamic forces of the head coach. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the interaction between airflow and a high-speed train subjected to crosswind.

With the continuous improvement of the train speed, the dynamic environment of trains turns out to be aerodynamic domination. Solving the aerodynamic problems has become one of the key factors of the high-speed train head design. Given that the aerodynamic drag is a significant factor that restrains train speed and energy conservation, reducing the aerodynamic drag is thus an important consideration of the high-speed train head design. However, the reduction of the aerodynamic drag may increase other aerodynamic forces (moments), possibly deteriorating the operational safety of the train. The multi-objective optimization design method of the high-speed train head was proposed in this paper, and the aerodynamic drag and load reduction factor were set to be optimization objectives. The automatic multi-objective optimization design of the high-speed train head can be achieved by integrating a series of procedures into the multi-objective optimization algorithm, such as the establishment of 3D parametric model, the aerodynamic mesh generation, the calculation of the flow field around the train, and the vehicle system dynamics. The correlation between the optimization objectives and optimization variables was analyzed to obtain the most important optimization variables, and a further analysis of the nonlinear relationship between the key optimization variables and the optimization objectives was obtained. After optimization, the aerodynamic drag of optimized train was reduced by up to 4.15%, and the load reduction factor was reduced by up to 1.72%.

Extremely metal-poor star candidates in the SDSS

For a sample of metal-poor stars （-3.3 ≤ [Fe/H] ≤-2.2） that have highresolution spectroscopic abundance determinations, we have measured equivalent widths of the Ca II K, Mg I b and near-infrared Ca II triplet lines using low-resolution spectra from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey （SDSS）, calculated effective temperatures from （g - z）o color, deduced stellar surface gravities by fitting stellar isochrones, and determined metallicities based on the aforementioned quantities. Metallicities thus derived from the Ca II K line are in much better agreement with the results deter- mined from high-resolution spectra than the values given in the SDSS Data Release 7. The metallicities derived from the Mg I b lines have a large dispersion owing to the large measurement errors, whereas those deduced from the Ca II triplet lines are too high due to both non-local thermodynamical equilibrium （NLTE） effects and mea- surement errors. Abundances after correction for the NLTE effect for the Mg I b lines and Ca II triplet lines are also presented. Following this method, we have identified six candidates of ultra-metal-poor stars with [Fe/H] - -4.0 from a sample of 166 metal-poor star candidates. One of them, SDSS J102915＋172927, was recently con- firmed to be an ultra-metal-poor （[Fe/H] 〈 -4.0） star with the lowest metallicity ever measured. Follow-up high-resolution spectroscopy for the other five ultra-metal-poor stars in our sample will therefore be of great interest.

The characteristic wind curve （CWC） was com- monly used in the previous work to evaluate the operational safety of the high-speed trains exposed to crosswinds. How- ever, the CWC only provide the dividing line between safety state and failure state of high-speed trains, which can not evaluate the risk of derailment of high-speed trains when ex- posed to natural winds. In the present paper, a more realistic approach taking into account the stochastic characteristics of natural winds is proposed, which can give a reasonable and effective assessment of the operational safety of high-speed trains under stochastic winds. In this approach, the longitudi- nal and lateral components of stochastic winds are simulated based on the Cooper theory and harmonic superposition. An algorithm is set up for calculating the unsteady aerody- namic forces （moments） of the high-speed trains exposed to stochastic winds. A multi-body dynamic model of the rail vehicle is established to compute the vehicle system dynamic response subjected to the unsteady aerodynamic forces （mo- ments） input. Then the statistical method is used to get the mean characteristic wind curve （MCWC） and spread range of the high-speed trains exposed to stochastic winds. It is found that the CWC provided by the previous analyticalmethod produces over-conservative limits. The methodol- ogy proposed in the present paper can provide more signif- icant reference for the safety operation of high-speed trains exposed to stochastic winds.

Research on the formability of tailor rolled blank （TRB） is of good practical significance and application value because of the enormous potential of TRB in the aspect of automobile lightweight. However, the forming of TRB is problematic because of the varying properties; especially, springback is a main challenge. The transverse bending （bending axis is perpendicular to the rolling direction） of TRB U channel was studied through simulation and experiment. The forming characteristics of TRB U channel during transverse bending were analyzed. The mechanisms of forming defects, including bending springback and thickness transition zone （TTZ） movement, were revealed. On this basis, effects of blank geometric parameters on springbaek and TTZ movement were discussed. The results indicate that springback and TTZ movement happen during transverse bending of TRB U-channel. Nonuni form stress distribution is the most fundamental reason for the occurrence of springback of TRB during transverse bending. Annealing can eliminate nonuniform stress distribution, and thus diminish springbaek of TRB, especially springback on the thinner side. Therefore, springback of the whole TRB becomes more uniform. However, annealing can increase the TTZ movement. Blank thickness and TTZ position are the main factors affecting the formability of TRB U-channel during transverse bending.
