Precise gradient separation of nanoparticles using reduced graphene oxide-polyoxomolybdate membranes

Arsenic-vanadium polyoxometalates（POMs） represent a family of tremendous potential catalysts owing to their peculiar physical and chemical *** in CO2conversion,using POMs to catalyze the conversion of CO2and epoxide into chemical intermediates is the research ***,A new family number of arsenic-vanadium POMs,[N（CH3）4]4[As8V12O38（H2O）]·2H2O({As8V12O38}),was reported and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,*** from other allotropicity,{As8V12O38}shows a different structure pattern with an I-43d *** obtained {As8V12O38} was employed as a catalyst for the *** initial catalytic reaction confirmed that {As8V12O38} can catalyze the formation of epoxy carbonate by using 1.01 kPa CO2and epoxide at 70℃.Furtherly,when added amine in the catalytic system,oxazolidinone could be obtained by high yields,which provides an efficient way to convert CO2into profitable ***,a possible catalytic reaction mechanism was proposed by using different characterization analyses.{As8V12O38} first catalyzes the epoxide and CO2to form an epoxy carbonate and then catalyzes epoxy carbonate and benzylamine into oxazolidinone.

Resistance of Cement-based Grouting Materials with Nano- SiO_(2) Emulsion to Chloride Ion Penetration

The chloride penetration resistance of cement-based grout materials was improved by nano-silica *** of mixtures containing different nano-silica particles or emulsions were exposed in sodium chloride solutions of specific concentrations with different test *** properties of the mixes were assessed in terms of weight loss and compressive strength.X-ray diffraction(XRd)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)of mixes were performed to analysis the phase evolution and *** results demonstrated that the introduction of nano-SiO_(2) emulsion significantly decreased the compressive strength loss and calcium hydroxide(CH)crystal content of hydration production,and then enhanced the resistance of cement-based grouting materials to chloride ion *** improvement derives from the filling and pozzolanic effects of nano-SiO_(2) particles,which were incorporated via an emulsion and attributed to a well dispersion in grouting matrix.

Introducing saturated carbon-carbon bonds into organic molecules significantly increases the three-dimensional configuration,thus altering the physical and chemical properties as well as the functions of molecules. Transition-metal-catalyzed carboncarbon cross-couplings represent one of the most straightforward, efficient and modular alternatives to build saturation in a single step. However, the efficient construction of alkyl-alkyl bonds remains a formidable challenge due to the precise manipulation of multiple alkyl metallic intermediates as well as associated competitive side reactions and selectivity control. Over the past years, Ni-catalyzed cross-coupling under reductive conditions has gained more and more attention for alkyl-alkyl crosscoupling partially attributing to the low-valent state of metal centers under reducing conditions, which suppresses the competitive β-hydride elimination process, thus facilitating the formation of alkyl-alkyl bonds. In this review, the initiative and progress of Ni-catalyzed cross-electrophile alkyl-alkyl cross-coupling, includ.ng the efforts in racemic and enantioselective formation of alkyl-alkyl bonds, have been summarized and discussed. Moreover, the challenges and further opportunities in this area have also been discussed.
