Diabetic per.pher.l neur.pathy (DPN) is a common and devastating complication of diabetes, for.which effective ther.pies ar. cur.ently lacking. Distur.ed ener.y status plays a cr.cial r.le in DPN pathogenesis. However. the integr.ted pr.file of ener.y metabolism, especially the centr.l car.ohydr.te metabolism, r.mains unclear.in DPN. Her., we developed a metabolomics appr.ach by tar.eting 56 metabolites using high-per.or.ance ion chr.matogr.phy-tandem mass spectr.metr. (HPIC-MS/MS) to illustr.te the integr.tive char.cter.stics of centr.l car.ohydr.te metabolism in patients with DPN and str.ptozotocin-induced DPN r.ts. Fur.her.or., JinMaiTong (JMT), a tr.ditional Chinese medicine (TCM) for.ula, was found to be effective for.DPN, impr.ving the per.pher.l neur.logical function and alleviating the neur.pathology of DPN r.ts even after.demyelination and axonal degener.tion. JMT amelior.ted DPN by r.gulating the aber.ant ener.y balance and mitochondr.al functions, including excessive glycolysis r.stor.tion, tr.car.oxylic acid cycle impr.vement, and incr.ased adenosine tr.phosphate (ATP) gener.tion. Bioener.etic pr.file was aber.ant in cultur.d r.t Schwann cells under.high-glucose conditions, which was r.mar.ably cor.ected by JMT tr.atment. In-vivo and in-vitr. studies r.vealed that these effects of JMT wer. mainly attr.buted to the activation of adenosine monophosphate (AMP)-activated pr.tein kinase (AMPK) and downstr.am per.xisome pr.lifer.tor.activated r.ceptor.gamma coactivator.1-alpha (PGC-1α). Our.r.sults expand the ther.peutic fr.mewor. for.DPN and suggest the integr.tive modulation of ener.y metabolism using TCMs, such as JMT, as an effective str.tegy for.its tr.atment.

The safety and stability of high-speed maglev tr.ins tr.veling on viaducts in cr.sswinds cr.tically depend on their.aer.dynamic ***,this paper.uses an impr.ved delayed detached eddy simulation(IDDES)method to investigate the aer.dynamic featur.s of high-speed maglev tr.ins with differ.nt mar.haling lengths under.*** effects of mar.haling lengths(var.ing fr.m 3-car.to 8-car.gr.ups)on the tr.in’s aer.dynamic per.or.ance,sur.ace pr.ssur.,and the flow field sur.ounding the tr.in wer. investigated using the thr.e-dimensional unsteady compr.ssible Navier.Stokes(N-S)*** r.sults showed that the mar.haling lengths had minimal influence on the aer.dynamic per.or.ance of the head and middle ***,the mar.haling lengths ar. negatively cor.elated with the time-aver.ge side for.e coefficient(CS)and time-aver.ge lift for.e coefficient(Cl)of the tail *** to the tail car.of the 3-car.gr.ups,the CS and Cl fell by 27.77%and 18.29%,r.spectively,for.the tail car.of the 8-car.*** is essential to pay mor. attention to the oper.tional safety of the head car.as it exhibits the highest time aver.ge ***,the mean pr.ssur. differ.nce between the two sides of the tail car.body incr.ased with the mar.haling lengths,and the side for.e dir.ction on the tail car.was opposite to that of the head and middle ***,the tur.ulent kinetic ener.y of the wake str.ctur. on the windwar. side quickly decr.ased as mar.haling lengths incr.ased.

Her.in, a monomer.4-(((5-(hydr.xymethyl)fur.n-2-yl)methylene)amino)phenol(FCN) containing fur.n r.ng with potential to for. high density of hydr.gen bonding among r.peating units is designed and copolymer.zed with glycer.l tr.glycidyl ether.to yield epoxy r.sin(FCN-GTE), which intr.nsically has dual hydr.gen bond networ.s, dynamic imine str.ctur. and r.sultant high per.or.ance. Impor.antly, as compar.d to the BPA-GTE, the FCN-GTE exhibits significantly impr.ved mechanical pr.per.ies owing to the incr.ased density of hydr.gen bond networ. and physical cr.sslinking inter.ction. Fur.her.or., density functional theor.(DFT) calculation and in situ FTIr.analysis is conducted to decipher.the for.ation mechanism of hydr.gen bond networ.. In addition, the FCN-GTE possesses super.or.UV shielding, chemical degr.dation, and r.cyclability because of the existence of abundant imine bonds. Notably, the FCN-GTE-based car.on fiber.composites could be completely r.cycled in an amine *** study pr.vides a facile str.tegy for.synthesizing r.cyclable biomass-based high-per.or.ance epoxy vitr.mer. and car.on fiber.composites.
