The northeastern Sichuan area in the northern Yangtze margin has unique Ediacaran geological records,especially the Doushantuo Formation(DST),and become a hot research area in recent ***,the Cryogenian-Ediacaran(C-E)boundary has not been precisely identified,which restricts the in-depth study of geological information during this crucial transitional period and is unfavorable for a systematic and complete understanding of the Yangtze Block and even the global paleogeographic *** study conducted stratigraphy,sedimentology,and chronostratigraphy to establish the stratigraphic framework and sedimentary evolution of the C-E transition strata in northeastern *** results showed that the Ediacaran sediments,without the cap dolomite,unconformably overlaid the Cryogenian sediments in the studied *** Member II of the DST,characterized by 50-160 m of red-green sandstone(approximately equivalent to the original Chengkou“Guanyinya Formation”),directly overlaid the Cryogenian sediments and displayed a 623±2.3 Ma maximum depositional age from the detrital zircon U-Pb *** stratigraphic correlations indicate that the C-E transition strata in northeastern Sichuan had a consistent lithological association and sedimentary sequence characteristics but differed from the Three ***,the upper Nantuo massive glacial diamictites transition to the icebergs rafted lonestone-bearing mudstones at the top,then change upward to DST barrier coast *** proposed DST of the northeastern Sichuan Basin was divided into three lithostratigraphic members without the regional Member I cap dolomite:(i)Member II purple-red,gray-green sandstone strata,(ii)MemberⅢblack mudstone strata,and(iii)Member IV P-Mn bearing *** the C-E transition,the study area experienced(i)the global deglaciation stage in the terminal Marinoan glaciation and(ii)the filling-leveling up stage with clastic rocks in the early ***,the early Ediacaran

Free radicals trigger the closure of open pores in lignin-derived hard carbons toward improved sodium-storage capacity

The chemical activation of various precursors is effective for creating additional closed pores in hard carbons for sodium ***,the formation mechanism of closed pores under the influence of pore-forming agents is not well ***,an effective chemical activation followed by a high-temperature self-healing strategy is employed to generate interconnected closed pores in lignin-derived hard carbon(HCs).By systematic experimental design combined with electron paramagnetic res-onance spectroscopy,it can be found that the content of free radicals in the carbon matrix influences the closure of open pores at high *** high activation temperature(>700 C)leads to a low free radical concentration,making it difficult to achieve self-healing of open pores at high *** activation at 700°C,a balance between pore making and self-healing is achieved in the final hard carbon.A large number of free radicals triggers rapid growth and aggregation of carbon microcrys-tals,blocking pre-formed open micropores and creating additional interconnected closed pores in as-obtained hard *** a result,the optimized carbon anode(LK-700-1300)delivers a high reversible capacity of 330.8 mA h g^(-1) at 0.03 A g^(-1),which is an increase of 86 mA h g^(-1) compared to the pristine lignin-derived carbon anode(L-700-1300),and exhibits a good rate performance(202.1 mA h g^(-1) at 1 A g^(-1)).This work provides a universal and effective guidance for tuning closed pores of hard carbons from otherprecursors.

Physiological and Biochemical Responses of Perennial Ryegrass Mixed Planting with Legumes under Heavy Metal Pollution

In artiﬁcially controlled pot experiments,perennial ryegrass was mixed with other leguminous plants(white clo-ver and alfalfa)and treated with lead,zinc and cadmium(337 mg·kg^(-1),648 mg·kg^(-1),and 9 mg·kg^(-1),respectively)to simulate compound pollution *** results showed that the concentrations of heavy metals,trans-port factors,and bioconcentration factors in mixed planting of ryegrass decreased compared with those in *** of whether heavy metal pollution was introduced,mixed planting increased the aboveground and underground biomasses of *** different mixed planting treatments had no signiﬁcant impact on the chlorophyll concentration of *** mowing time,mixed planting treatment,and heavy metal treatment had impacts on antioxidant and osmotic adjustment substances,and there were some *** mixed planting treatment did not signiﬁcantly affect glutathione concentration,cysteine concentration,or nonprotein *** planting generally increased the nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations of ryegrass while reducing the stoichiometric ratio of carbon,nitrogen,and *** results suggest that the mixed planting of ryegrass with legumes promotes the growth of ryegrass in the presence of high concentrations of heavy metal ***,it does not enhance the ability of ryegrass to remediate heavy metal pollution in the soil.

Analytical Solutions to a Model of Inviscid Liquid-Gas Two-phase Flow with Cylindrical Symmetry and Free Boundary

In this paper, we consider the free boundary value problem for a model of inviscid liquid-gas twophase flow with cylindrical symmetry. For simplicity, we assume that the gas velocity is always equal to the liquid one and the gas and liquid are both connected continuously to the outer vacuum through the same free boundary. Furthermore, the free boundary is assumed to move in the radial direction with the radial velocity,which will affect the angular velocity but does not affect the axial velocity. We construct two classes of global analytical solutions by using some ansatzs and show that the free boundary will spread outward linearly in time by using some new averaged quantities.

In this paper,we obtain the thickness for some complete k-partite graphs for k=2,*** first compute the thickness of K_(n,n+8)by giving a planar decomposition of K_(4k-1,4k+7)for k≥***,two planar decompositions for K_(1,g,g)(g-1)when g is even and for K^(1,g,1/2(g-1)2)when g is odd are *** a recursive construction,we also obtain the thickness for some complete tripartite *** results here support the long-standing conjecture that the thickness of K_(m,n)is[mn/2(m+n-2)]for any positive integers m,n.

Precipitation evolution and properties of Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloys via Al microalloying during ageing

Studies have shown that microalloying Cu-Ni-Sn alloys using Al inhibits discontinuous precipitation reactions;however,the mechanism has not been investigated ***,this study explored the properties and precipitation evolution of Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloys without and with 1 wt%Al（Cu-15Ni-8Sn-1Al） during ageing at 500℃ through X-ray diffraction （XRD）,scanning electron microscopy and high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron *** results revealed that in Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloy,DO22ordering first occurred after spinodal decomposition,subsequently transitioning to an L12ordering phase,during which the discontinuous precipitates gradually nucleated at the grain boundaries and formed *** alloy hardness increased sharply with ordering and then decreased rapidly after reaching its peak value,due to the dominance of the discontinuous precipitation ***,the DO22ordered phase did not appear during the ageing of Cu-15Ni-8Sn-1Al alloy,and a Ni3(Alx,Sn1-x) intermetallic compound with L12structure was formed,consuming Ni and Sn atoms,thereby significantly suppressing the discontinuous precipitation reaction and improving the stability during prolonged *** tensile strength （yield strength） of Cu-15Ni-8Sn and Cu-15Ni-8Sn-1Al alloys at peak hardness were 855 （755） and 936 MPa （892 MPa）,respectively,and their main strengthening mechanisms were solid solution strengthening and precipitation *** addition of 1 wt% Al effectively improved the precipitation strengthening effect of Cu-Ni-Sn alloys but severely decreased the ductility.

Jetting of a near-wall cavitation bubble induced by another tandem bubble

Double bubbles near a rigid wall surface collapse to produce a significant jet impact,with potential applications in surface cleaning and ultrasonic ***,the dynamic behaviors of near-wall bubbles remain *** this study,we investigate the jetting of a near-wall bubble induced by another tandem *** define two dimensionless standoff distances,γ_(1),γ_(2),to represent the distances from the center of the near-wall bubble to the rigid wall and the center of controlling bubble to the center of the near-wall bubble,*** observations reveal three distinct jetting regimes for the near-wall bubble:transferred jetting,double jetting,and directed *** further investigate the jetting mechanism,numerical simulations are conducted using the compressibleInterFoam solver in the open-source framework of OpenFOAM.A detailed analysis shows that the transferred jet flow is caused by the pinch-off resulting from the axial contraction velocity at the lower end of the near-wall bubble being greater than the vertical contraction velocity,leading to a maximum jet velocity of 682.58 m/*** the case of double jetting,intense stretching between the controlling bubble and the wall leads to a pinch-off and a double jetting with a maximum velocity of 1096.29 m/*** directed jet flow is caused by the downward movement of the high-pressure region generated by the premature collapse of the controlling bubble,with the maximum jet velocity reaching 444.62 m/s.

Preparation of yttrium oxide coating with enhanced thermal shock resistance on refractories used for titanium alloy melting and casting

In order to enhance the service life of refractories for melting and casting of titanium alloy,preparation of yttrium oxide coatings on the refractories surface is an effective *** improvement of thermal shock stability of the coating is beneficial to its spalling resistance during the high-temperature service,and the available slurry with good performance is the *** effects of the varieties and contents of dispersant(sodium tripolyphosphate,sodium hexametaphosphate,sodium pyrophosphate,citric acid and polycarboxylate ammonium salt)and binder(aluminum dihydrogen phosphate,zirconium acetate and yttria sol)on the stability,rheological and thixotropic properties of yttrium oxide waterbased slurry were investigated,and the effects of slurry composition design on the thermal shock resistance of the coating were *** results showed that the introduction of polycarboxylate ammonium salt as dispersant significantly improved the stability of the slurry,and the varieties of the binders had significant effects on the dispersibility of the *** aluminum dihydrogen phosphate and polycarboxylate ammonium salt were used as binder and dispersant,respectively,the slurry had better stability,suitable rheological and thixotropic *** using aluminum dihydrogen phosphate as binder,the coating had good thermal shock resistance and no obvious cracks were observed for the coating after thermal shock,which was attributed to the yttrium aluminate binding phase generated in the *** effective method was provided for preparing yttrium oxide coatings with enhanced thermal shock resistance applied in the process of titanium alloy melting and casting.
