What is the most favorite and original chemistry developed in your research group?We originally proposed the design principle for molecular ferroelectrics:ferroelectrochemistry,including quasi-spherical theory,the introduction of homochirality,and H/F *** changed the blind search for molecular ferroelectrics into targeted chemical design,which will develop into a new discipline.

Hybrid organic-inorganic metal halides(HOMHs)have attracted tremendous interest in the past decades due to their diverse functional properties,such as ferroelectricity and ***,although a large number of ferroelectric HOMHs and luminescent HOMHs have been reported,the HOMH ferroelectrics with white-light emission remain very ***,for the first time,by using the Z/E isomeric organic cation,we designed a cadmium-based HOMH ferroelectric[EE-PMU]CdCl_(4)(EEPMU=pyridin-2-ylmethanamide muconate)with broadband white-light *** contrast to the[ZZ-PMU]CdCl_(4)with centrosymmetric crystal structure at room temperature,[EE-PMU]CdCl_(4)adopts the polar crystal symmetry,which shows piezoelectricity with a piezoelectric coefficient of d33up to 19 pC/N and ferroelectricity with the saturated polarization of 1.52μC/cm^(2).Moreover,[EE-PMU]CdCl_(4)exhibits a broadband white-light emission with an ultra-high color rendering index of 91under UV excitation,which is related to the severely distorted[CdCl_(4)]^(2-)tetrahedron in the *** our knowledge,[EEPMU]CdCl_(4)is the first example of Z/E isomeric cation-designed HOMH ferroelectric and the first cadmium halide white-light emissive *** finding paves a new way for the design of organic-inorganic molecular ferroelectrics with white-light emission.

Molecules with switchable quadratic nonlinear optical(NLO) properties,as represented by reversible switching of the second harmonic generation(SHG) between SHG-ON and SHG-OFF states,are of growing interest. In the present work,a new organic-inorganic hybrid high-temperature solid-state nonlinear optical(NLO) switch material,[NH(CH)NH]SbCI(1),showing switchable second harmonic generation(SHG) effect between SHG-OFF and SHG-ON states and tunable dielectric behaviors between high and low dielectric states,has been successfully *** undergoes a centrosymmetric-to-noncentrosymmetric symmetry breaking phase transition at 365.4K from Pnma in the high temperature phase to P222 in the room temperature *** crystal structure is composed of one-dimensional zigzag chains of corner-sharing SbCl octahedra and 1,5-pentanediammonium *** the deformation of the zigzag chains and the order-disorder transition of the 1,5-pentanediammonium cations play essential roles in the mechanism of this phase *** SHG and dielectric switching activities are also connected with the order-disorder transition of the 1,5-pentanediammonium *** findings will pave a new way to explore high-temperature solid-state NLO switches and multiple molecular switches.

Cerebral edema caused by blood-brain barrier injury after intracerebral hemorrhage is an important factor leading to poor ***-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived neural stem cell exosomes(hiPSC-NSC-Exos)have shown potential for brain injury repair in central nervous system *** this study,we explored the impact of hiPSC-NSC-Exos on blood-brain barrier preservation and the underlying *** results indicated that intranasal delivery of hiPSC-NSC-Exos mitigated neurological deficits,enhanced blood-brain barrier integrity,and reduced leukocyte infiltration in a mouse model of intracerebral ***,hiPSC-NSC-Exos decreased immune cell infiltration,activated astrocytes,and decreased the secretion of inflammatory cytokines like monocyte chemoattractant protein-1,macrophage inflammatory protein-1α,and tumor necrosis factor-αpost-intracerebral hemorrhage,thereby improving the inflammatory *** sequencing indicated that hiPSC-NSC-Exo activated the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway in astrocytes and decreased monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 secretion,thereby improving blood-brain barrier *** with the PI3K/AKT inhibitor LY294002 or the monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 neutralizing agent C1142 abolished these *** summary,our findings suggest that hiPSC-NSC-Exos maintains blood-brain barrier integrity,in part by downregulating monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 secretion through activation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway in astrocytes.

This paper presents, for the first time, an effective numerical approach based on the isogeometric analysis(IGA) and the six-variable quasi-three dimensional(3D)higher-order shear deformation theory(HSDT) to study the free vibration characteristics of functionally-graded(FG) graphene origami(GOri)-enabled auxetic metamaterial(GOEAM) plates submerged in a fluid medium. The plate theory incorporates the thickness stretching and the effects of transverse shear deformation without using any shear correction factors. The velocity potential function and Bernoulli's equation are used to derive the hydrodynamic pressure acting on the plate surface. Both horizontally and vertically immersed plate configurations are considered here in the form of inertia *** plates are composed of multilayer GOEAMs, with the GOri content varying through the plate's thickness in a layer-wise manner. This design results in graded auxetic *** material properties are evaluated by mixing rules and a genetic programming(GP)-assisted micromechanical model. The governing equations of motion for the FG-GOEAM plates immersed in a fluid medium are derived by Hamilton's principle. After validating the convergence and accuracy of the present model, a comprehensive parametric study is carried out to examine the effects of the GOri content, GOri distribution pattern, GOri folding degree, fluid level, immersed depth, and geometric parameter on the natural frequencies of the FG-GOEAM plates. The results show that the natural frequencies for the four GOri distribution patterns increase with the increase in the layer number when the lay number is fewer than 10, and then stabilize after the layer number reaches ***, in general, the natural frequency of the FG-GOEAM plate in a vacuum or fluid increases when the GOri content increases, while decreases when the GOri folding degree increases. Background:Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a liver disorder characterized by the accumulation and degeneration of fat in the liver cells,a condition that may further deteriorate and lead to cirrhosis and liver *** studies showed that metabolic dysfunction can promote NAFLD *** Zhugan Decoction(LGZGD)has therapeutic effects on *** mechanism of LGZGD still remains *** study was to examine the impact of LGZGD on the metabolic processes involved in the development of ***:A mice model of NAFLD was treated with *** therapeutic potential of LGZGD was evaluated by assessing the activity of transaminases,lipids levels of blood,and pathological changes in the liver of the mice model of ***,this study also evaluated the influence of LGZGD on liver inflammation and oxidative ***:The results of untargeted metabolomics analysis showed that LGZGD reduced the disordered lipid metabolism in NAFLD *** improved the oxidative stress and also reduced the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the *** metabolomics analysis of liver samples revealed that LGZGD treatment improved metabolic disorders,including alanine,aspartate,glutamate,glycerophospholipid metabolism,and citrate *** RT-qPCR and Western blot results showed that LGZGD could regulate the expression of key enzymes in the metabolic pathway of the citrate cycle,including ATP-citrate lyase(ACLY),alanine-glyoxylate aminotransferase-2(AGXT2),phosphatidylethanolamine N-methyltransferase(PEMT),and succinate dehydrogenase(SDH).Conclusion:We found that LGZGD can treat NAFLD by reducing inflammatory responses,inhibiting oxidative stress,regulating alanine,aspartate,glutamate,and glycerophospholipid metabolism,and citrate cycle pathways.
