Aluminum is the primary structural material in nuclear engineering,and its cross section induced by 14-MeV neutrons is of great *** address the issue of insufficient accuracy for the^(27)Al(n,2n)^(26)Al reaction cross section,the activation method and accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)technique were used to determine the^(27)Al(n,2n)^(26)Al cross section,which could be used as a D-T plasma ion temperature monitor in fusion *** the China Academy of Engineering Physics,neutron activation was performed using a K-400 neutron generator produced by the T(d,n)4He ***^(26)Al∕^(27)Al isotope ratios were measured using the newly installed GYIG 1 MV AMS at the Institute of Geochemistry,Chinese Academy of *** neutron flux was monitored by measuring the activity of 92mNb produced by the 93Nb(n,2n)92mNb *** measured results were compared with available data in the experimental nuclear reaction database,and the measured values showed a reasonable degree of consistency with partially available literature *** newly acquired cross-sectional data at 12 neutron energy points through systematic measurements clarified the divergence,which has two different growth trends from the existing experimental *** obtained results are also compared with the corresponding evaluated database,and the newly calculated excitation functions with TALYS−1.95 and EMPIRE−3.2 codes,the agreement with CENDL−3.2,TENDL-2021 and EMPIRE−3.2 results are generally acceptable.A substantial improvement in the knowledge of the^(27)Al(n,2n)^(26)Al reaction excitation function was obtained in the present work,which will lay the foundation for the diagnosis of the fusion ion temperature,testing of the nuclear physics model,evaluation of nuclear data,etc.

Conversion of labile Pb species into chloropyromorphite(CPY)using phosphorus-bearing amendments was considered to be an ideal strategy in soil passivation ***,the fate and transport of CPY in the soil are poorly *** study aims to fill the knowledge gap by evaluating the fate and transport of CPY under environmentally relevant conditions of humic acid(HA),pH,electrolyte concentration,and species through the saturated sandy *** showed that bare CPY colloids are basically immobile in sandy porous media while the co-existence of HA made the transport of CPY improved by30%-93.5%.Facilitated transport of CPY was attributed to the increased stability of CPY and the repulsive interaction between CPY particles and sands due to HA *** mobility of CPY was also increased with increasing pH from 5.0 to *** the pH was 9 with a10 mmol/L NaCl background solution,the stronger energy barrier between CPY and sand led to enhanced transport *** divalent Ca^(2+)had a more dramatic effect than monovalent Na^(+)on the aggregation and sedimentation of CPY colloids due to its effectivescreening of the surface charge of CPY and bridging interaction with CPY ***-LandauVerwey-Overbeek theory and attachment efficiency calculation indicated that high energy barriers were responsible for the high mobility of CPY colloids,while the retention of CPY in sands was mainly caused by secondary energy minimum and physically *** findings of this work can help to evaluate the fate of soil passivation remediation products in natural water and soil.

AIM To evaluate the therapeutic effects of segmental transcatheter arterial embolization for primary hepatocellular carcinoma, and to recognize the menifestation and clinical value of lipiodol overflow into portal veins surrounding the tumors. METHODS A total of 50 cases of nonresectable primary hepatocellular carcinoma underwent segmental transcatheter arterial embolization. Two methods of superselective segmental catheterization were used, one was the method of wire guiding, and the other the technic of co axial infusion catheter. RESULTS The 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 year cumulative survival rates of 50 cases with segmental transcatheter arterial embolization for primary hepatocellular carcinoma were 83 8%, 65 4%, 42 9% and 24 5% respectively. The incidence of the lipiodol overflow into portal veins was 64%. The overflow of lipiodol into portal veins, represented as 3-5 grade branches of portal veins visualized by lipiodol, was “star like” or “tree like”, and there was a relatively large vessel in the center surrounded with radicalized small branches of vessels. CONCLUSION The lipiodol overflow into portal veins was one of the signs of complete embolization for tumors, and may play a partial role in embolizating the portal venous supply for hepatocellular carcinoma.

Electrocatalytic 5-hydroxymethylfurfural oxidation reaction(HMFOR)provides a promising strategy to convert biomass derivative to highvalue-added ***,a cascade strategy is proposed to construct Pd-NiCo_(2)O_(4)electrocatalyst by Pd loading on Ni-doped Co3O4 and for highly active and stable synergistic HMF *** elevated current density of 800 mA cm^(-2)can be achieved at 1.5 V,and both Faradaic efficiency and yield of 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid remained close to 100%over 10 consecutive *** and theoretical results unveil that the introduction of Pd atoms can modulate the local electronic structure of Ni/Co,which not only balances the competitive adsorption of HMF and OH-species,but also promote the active Ni^(3+)species formation,inducing high indirect oxidation *** have also discovered that Ni incorporation facilitates the Co2+pre-oxidation and electrophilic OH*generation to contribute direct oxidation *** work provides a new approach to design advanced electrocatalyst for biomass upgrading.

This study proposes an active surge control method based on deep reinforcement learning to ensure the stability of compressors when adhering to the pressure rise command across the wide operating range of an ***,the study establishes the compressor dynamic model with uncertainties,disturbances,and Close-Coupled Valve(CCV)actuator *** upon this foundation,a Partially Observable Markov Decision Process(POMDP)is defined to facilitate active surge *** address the issue of unobservability,a nonlinear state observer is designed using a finite-time high-order sliding ***,an Improved Soft Actor-Critic(ISAC)algorithm is developed,incorporating prioritized experience replay and adaptive temperature parameter techniques,to strike a balance between exploration and convergence during *** addition,reasonable observation variables,error-segmented reward functions,and random initialization of model parameters are employed to enhance the robustness and generalization ***,to assess the effectiveness of the proposed method,numerical simulations are conducted,and it is compared with the fuzzy adaptive backstepping method and Second-Order Sliding Mode Control(SOSMC)*** simulation results demonstrate that the deep reinforcement learning based controller outperforms other methods in both tracking accuracy and ***,the proposed active surge controller can effectively ensure stable operation of compressors in the high-pressure-ratio and high-efficiency region.

In this paper,we present an electrically controlled tunable narrowband filter based on a thin-film lithium niobate two-dimensional(2D)photonic *** filter incorporates a photonic crystal microcavity structure within the straight waveguide,enabling electronic tuning of the transmitted wavelength through added electrode *** optimized microcavity filter design achieves a balance between high transmission rate and quality factor,with a transmission center wavelength of 1551.6 nm,peak transmission rate of 96.1%,and quality factor of ***,the filter can shift the central wavelength of the transmission spectrum by applying voltage to the electrodes,with a tuning sensitivity of 13.8 pm/*** proposed tunable filter adopts a simple-to-fabricate air-hole structure and boasts a compact size(length:11.57μm,width:5.27μm,area:60.97μm^(2)),making it highly suitable for large-scale *** features make the filter promising for broad applications in the fields of photonic integration and optical communication.

As an essential concept to understand the world,whether the real values(or physical realities)of observables are suitable to physical systems beyond the classic has been debated for many *** standard nogo results based on Bell inequalities have ruled out the joint reality of incompatible quantum observables,the possibility of giving simple yet strong arguments to rule out joint reality in any physical system(not necessarily quantum)with weaker assumptions and less observables has been explored and proposed ***,we perform a device-independent experiment on a two-qubit superconducting system to show that the joint reality of two observables is incompatible with locality under the weaker assumption of the reality of observables in a single space-time region(or single qubit).Our results clearly show the violation of certain inequalities derived from both linear and nonlinear *** addition,we study the robustness of the linear and nonlinear criterion against the effect of systematic *** demonstration opens up the possibility of delineating classical and non-classical boundaries with simpler nontrivial quantum system.
