Crystallineγ-Ga_(2)O_(3)@rGO core-shell nanostructures are synthesized in gram scale,which are accomplished by a facile sonochemical strategy under ambient *** are composed of uniformγ-Ga_(2)O_(3)nanospheres encapsulated by reduced graphene oxide(rGO)nanolayers,and their formation is mainly attributed to the existed opposite zeta potential between the Ga_(2)O_(3)and *** as-constructed lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)based on as-fabricatedγ-Ga_(2)O_(3)@rGO nanostructures deliver an initial discharge capacity of 1000 mAh g^(-1)at 100 mA g^(-1)and reversible capacity of 600 mAh g^(-1)under 500 mA g^(-1)after 1000 cycles,respectively,which are remarkably higher than those of pristineγ-Ga_(2)O_(3)with a much reduced lifetime of 100 cycles and much lower *** situ XRD and XPS analyses demonstrate that the reversible LIBs storage is dominant by a conversion reaction and alloying mechanism,where the discharged product of liquid metal Ga exhibits self-healing ability,thus preventing the destroy of ***,the rGO shell could act robustly as conductive network of the electrode for significantly improved conductivity,endowing the efficient Li storage *** work might provide some insight on mass production of advanced electrode materials under mild condition for energy storage and conversion applications.

Nanoplastics(NPs)can accumulate in the kidney and cause kidney injury,but the multi-organ interaction mechanism and preventive measures of kidney injury are still *** this study,in vivo(60μg/day,42 days)and in vitro(0.4μg/μL,24 h)exposure models of polystyrene nanoplastics(PS-NPs,80 nm)in mice and human kidney cortex proximal tubule epithelial cells(HK-2 cells)were established,*** study revealed that PS-NPs caused obvious pathological changes and impaired renal function in mice,which were related to lipid metabolism disorders mediated by intestinal ***-fatty acid synthase(Fasn)-docosahexaenoic acid(DHA)pathway may be one of the mechanisms of kidney injury in ***,we also found that melatonin attenuates PS-NPs-induced nephrotoxicity by modulating lipid metabolism disorders(represented by DHA)and affects Fasn *** conclusion,our study revealed the important role of intestinal flora-mediated lipid metabolism in PS-NPs-induced nephrotoxicity and preliminarily provided potential key gene targets and effective preventive measures for PS-NPs-induced nephrotoxicity.

Globally,soil is the largest terrestrial carbon(C)*** quantification of soil organic C(SOC)stocks in existing global observation-based estimates avails accurate predictions in carbon-climate feedbacks and future climate *** investigated the magnitudes and distributions of global and regional SOC estimates(i.e.,density and stocks)based on five widely used global gridded SOC datasets,a regional permafrost dataset developed in 2021(UM2021),and a global-scale soil profile database(World Soil Information Service)reporting measurements of a series of physical and chemical edaphic *** five global gridded SOC datasets were the Harmonized World Soil Database(HWSD),World Inventory of Soil Emission Potentials at 30 arc-second resolution(WISE30sec),Global Soil Dataset for Earth System Models(GSDE),Global Gridded Soil Information at 250-m resolution(SoilGrids250m),and Global Soil Organic Carbon Map(GSOCmap).Our analyses showed that the magnitude and distribution of SOC varied widely among datasets,with certain datasets showing region-specific *** the global scale,SOC stocks at the top 30 and 100 cm were estimated to be 828(range:577–1171)and 1873(range:1086–2678)Pg C,*** estimates from GSDE,GSOCmap,and WISE30sec were comparable,and those of SoilGrids250m and HWSD were at the upper and lower *** spatial SOC distribution varied greatly among datasets,especially in the northern circumpolar and Tibetan Plateau permafrost ***,UM2021 and WISE30sec performed well in the northern circumpolar permafrost regions,and GSDE performed well in *** estimates of SOC by different datasets also showed large variabilities across different soil layers and *** discrepancies were generally smaller for the 0–30 cm soil than the 0–100 cm *** datasets demonstrated relatively higher agreement in grasslands,croplands,and shrublands/savannas than in other biomes(e.g.,wetlands).The users should be mindful of the gaps b

To analyze the relationship between macro and meso parameters of the gas hydrate bearing coal(GHBC)and to calibrate the meso-parameters,the numerical tests were conducted to simulate the laboratory triaxial compression tests by PFC3D,with the parallel bond model employed as the particle contact constitutive ***,twenty simulation tests were conducted to quantify the relationship between the macro–meso ***,nine orthogonal simulation tests were performed using four meso-mechanical parameters in a three-level to evaluate the sensitivity of the meso-mechanical ***,the calibration method of the meso-parameters were then ***,the contact force chain,the contact force and the contact number were examined to investigate the saturation effect on the meso-mechanical behavior of *** results show that:(1)The elastic modulus linearly increases with the bonding stiffness ratio and the friction coefficient while exponentially increasing with the normal bonding strength and the bonding radius *** failure strength increases exponentially with the increase of the friction coefficient,the normal bonding strength and the bonding radius coefficient,and remains constant with the increase of bond stiffness ratio;(2)The friction coefficient and the bond radius coefficient are most sensitive to the elastic modulus and the failure strength;(3)The number of the force chains,the contact force,and the bond strength between particles will increase with the increase of the hydrate saturation,which leads to the larger failure strength.

The engineering of the electronic configurations of active sites,together with the production of more accessible active sites through heterostructure design,has been established as a forceful methodology for boosting water electrolysis ***,a facile approach is developed to fabricate well-dispersed MoO_(2) and WO_(2) nanoparticles with abundant heterointerfaces entrapped in N,P-doped carbon nanofibers(referred to as MoO_(2)/WO_(2)@N,P-CNFs hereafter)as hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrocatalysts in alkaline and acidic *** spectroscopic analyses and theoretical findings manifest that the heterointerface formed by the work function modulation of MoO_(2)/WO_(2) triggers the spontaneous electron redistribution from MoO_(2)to WO_(2) and a built-in electric field,which is essential to promote water adsorption,optimize the H-intermediate adsorption energy,result in the enhanced charge transfer efficiency,and ultimately increase the intrinsic HER ***,the intimate confinement of MoO_(2)/WO_(2) heterostructures in the porous carbon substrate can restrain the active sites from unfavorable coarsening and detachment,thus ensuring facilitated HER kinetics and outstanding structural *** a result,MoO_(2)/WO_(2)@N,P-CNFs exhibit superior catalytic HER performance in acidic and basic solutions,requiring 118 and 95 mV overpotentials to achieve 10 mA·cm^(−2),respectively,surpassing a number of reported non-noble metal-based *** work provides guidelines for the rational design and construction of special metallic heterocomponents with optimized interfacial electronic structure for various electrochemical technologies.

The widespread adoption of lithium-ion batteries has been driven by the proliferation of portable electronic devices and electric vehicles,which have increasingly stringent energy density *** metal batteries(LMBs),with their ultralow reduction potential and high theoretical capacity,are widely regarded as the most promising technical pathway for achieving high energy density *** this review,we provide a comprehensive overview of fundamental issues related to high reactivity and migrated interfaces in ***,we propose improved strategies involving interface engineering,3D current collector design,electrolyte optimization,separator modification,application of alloyed anodes,and external field regulation to address these *** utilization of solid-state electrolytes can significantly enhance the safety of LMBs and represents the only viable approach for advancing *** review also encompasses the variation in fundamental issues and design strategies for the transition from liquid to solid *** noteworthy is that the introduction of SSEs will exacerbate differences in electrochemical and mechanical properties at the interface,leading to increased interface inhomogeneity—a critical factor contributing to failure in all-solidstate lithium metal *** on recent research works,this perspective highlights the current status of research on developing high-performance LMBs.

YOLO-DD:Improved YOLOv5 for Defect Detection

As computer technology continues to advance,factories have increasingly higher demands for detecting ***,detecting defects in a plant environment remains a challenging task due to the presence of complex backgrounds and defects of varying shapes and *** address this issue,this paper proposes YOLO-DD,a defect detectionmodel based on YOLOv5 that is effective and *** improve the feature extraction process and better capture global information,the vanilla YOLOv5 is augmented with a new module called Relative-Distance-Aware Transformer(RDAT).Additionally,an Information Gap Filling Strategy(IGFS)is proposed to improve the fusion of features at different *** classic lightweight attention mechanism Squeeze-and-Excitation(SE)module is also incorporated into the neck section to enhance feature expression and improve the model’s *** results on the NEU-DET dataset demonstrate that YOLO-DDachieves competitive results compared to state-of-the-art methods,with a 2.0% increase in accuracy compared to the original YOLOv5,achieving 82.41% accuracy and38.25FPS(framesper second).Themodel is also testedon a self-constructed fabric defect dataset,and the results show that YOLO-DD is more stable and has higher accuracy than the original YOLOv5,demonstrating its stability and generalization *** high efficiency of YOLO-DD enables it to meet the requirements of industrial high accuracy and real-time detection.

Understanding the host-guest interactions for thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)emitters is critical because the interactions between the host matrices and TADF emitters enable precise control on the optoelectronic performance,whereas technologically manipulating the singlet and triplet excitons by using different kinds of host-guest interactions remains ***,we report a comprehensive picture that rationalizes host-guest interaction-modulated exciton recombination by using time-resolved *** found that the early-time relaxation is accelerated in polar polymer because dipole-dipole interaction facilitates the stabilization of the 1CT ***,an opposite trend is observed in longer delay time,and faster decay in the less polar polymer is ascribed to theπ-πinteraction that plays the dominant role in the later stage of the excited *** findings highlight the technological engineering singlet and triplet excitons using different kinds of host-guest interactions based on their electronic characteristics.
