Membrane fouling behavior and microbial community succession in a submerged membrane bioreactor treating harbor oily wastewater

A membrane bioreactor （MBR） was established for treating harbor oily wastewater. It showed good removal performance for chemical oxygen demand （COD）, oil content, suspended solids （SS）, and other pollutants. However, serious membrane fouling occurred. It was recognized that the extracellular polymeric substances （EPS） accumulated on the membrane surface, especially the proteins, were of great importance for the transmembrane pressure （TMP） increment and membrane fouling. The MBR was optimized via improving aeration rate and reducing the ratio of Ar/Ad （At and Ad are the cross-sectional areas of the riser and the downcomer of the MBR）. The increasing rate of TMP was slowed, indicating that the optimization strategy could effectively mitigate membrane fouling. Microbial community evolution was monitored and analyzed by polymerase chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis （PCR-DGGE）, cloning, and sequencing of 16S ribosomal ribonucleic acid （rRNA） fragments. Results revealed that low community shift occurred during the whole operational period. Geobacter sp. and Rhodocyclales sp., which have also been identified by other studies in a petroleum refinery wastewater MBR or an infiltration basin receiving highway runoff, dominated in the MBR system throughout. Comamonas sp. was thought to accommodate the lower aeration rate in this study, while Rhodocyclales sp. preferred the higher aeration rate. In addition, during the operational time under high organic loading rate, a few species were present in abundance, and may have been responsible for the good removal performance at this time.

Multi-channel blind deconvolution algorithm for multiple-input multiple-output DS/CDMA system

Direct sequence spread spectrum transmission can be realized at low SNR, and has low probabilityof detection. It is aly problem how to obtain the original users＇ signal in a non-cooperative context. In practicality, the DS/CDMA sources received are linear convolute mixing. A more complex multichannel blind deconvolution MBD algorithm is required to achieve better source separation. An improved MBD algorithm for separating linear convolved mixtures of signals in CDMA system is proposed. This algorithm is based on minimizing the average squared cross-output-channel-correlation. The mixture coefficients are totally unknown, while some knowledge about temporal model exists. Results show that the proposed algorithm can bring about the exactness and low computational complexity.

目的:评价健康受试者空腹和餐后条件下单次口服对乙酰氨基酚干混悬剂受试制剂和参比制剂的生物等效性。方法:空腹/餐后各26例健康受试者口服受试制剂对乙酰氨基酚干混悬剂和参比制剂对乙酰氨基酚细粒剂(CALONAL^(?) Fine Gran),采用单次口服、单中心、随机、开放、双周期、交叉设计,用HPLC-MS/MS法检测血浆中对乙酰氨基酚浓度,使用Phoenix WinNonlin 8.1软件及SAS 9.4软件分析生物等效性(BE)。结果:空腹组26例健康受试者分别单次空腹服用对乙酰氨基酚干混悬剂(受试制剂)和对乙酰氨基酚细粒剂(参比制剂)后,C_(max),AUC_(0~t)及AUC_(0~∞)的几何均数比值及其90%置信区间分别为100.72%(90.88%,111.63%),96.55%(92.80%,100.46%),95.58%(92.78%,98.48%),均落在等效区间80.0%~125.00%范围内。餐后组26例健康受试者在餐后口服对乙酰氨基酚干混悬剂(受试制剂)和对乙酰氨基酚细粒剂(参比制剂)后,C_(max),AUC_(0~t)及AUC_(0~∞)的几何均数比值及其90%置信区间分别为96.69%(89.52%,104.43%),98.27%(95.63%,100.98%),98.59%(96.01%,101.24%),均落在等效区间80.0%~125.00%范围内。结论:2种制剂在空腹和餐后条件下具有生物等效性。

Double-layer Bayesian Classifier Ensembles Based on Frequent Itemsets

Numerous models have been proposed to reduce the classification error of Naive Bayes by weakening its attribute independence assumption and some have demonstrated remarkable error performance. Considering that ensemble learning is an effective method of reducing the classifmation error of the classifier, this paper proposes a double-layer Bayesian classifier ensembles （DLBCE） algorithm based on frequent itemsets. DLBCE constructs a double-layer Bayesian classifier （DLBC） for each frequent itemset the new instance contained and finally ensembles all the classifiers by assigning different weight to different classifier according to the conditional mutual information. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms other outstanding algorithms.

Regression Analysis of the Number of Association Rules

The typical model, which involves the measures： support, confidence, and interest, is often adapted to mining association rules. In the model, the related parameters are usually chosen by experience; consequently, the number of useful rules is hard to estimate. If the number is too large, we cannot effectively extract the meaningful rules. This paper analyzes the meanings of the parameters and designs a variety of equations between the number of rules and the parameters by using regression method. Finally, we experimentally obtain a preferable regression equation. This paper uses multiple correlation coeficients to test the fitting efiects of the equations and uses significance test to verify whether the coeficients of parameters are significantly zero or not. The regression equation that has a larger multiple correlation coeficient will be chosen as the optimally fitted equation. With the selected optimal equation, we can predict the number of rules under the given parameters and further optimize the choice of the three parameters and determine their ranges of values.

The effect of spatial temperature gradient on the microstructural evolution of a 308L stainless steel during the directed energy deposition(DED)process was experimentally investigated.A novel cooling system was designed and incorporated to a DED system in order to control the temperature gradient along the deposition direction during *** deposition,the workpiece was placed on a lifting platform,and as the deposition process proceeded,the platform and workpiece were gradually lowered into cooling water so that the temperature gradient along the deposition direction could be controlled and maintained stable during the deposition *** microstructure characterization results indicated that a deposition strategy with higher G and G/R values(where G is temperature gradient and R is solidification rate)produced finer cellular grains that were better aligned with the deposition direction,while a deposition strategy with lower G and G/R values produced columnar grains with larger primary arm spacing and less aligned with the deposition direction.

益气化瘀汤联合羟苯磺酸钙治疗糖尿病肾病气虚血瘀证的疗效及对VEGF,IGF-1表达水平的影响研究

【目的】观察益气化瘀汤(由黄芪、山药、茯苓、炒芡实、旱莲草、金樱子、焦山楂、女贞子、丹参、益母草等组成)联合羟苯磺酸钙治疗糖尿病肾病(DN)气虚血瘀证的临床疗效及对血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)、胰岛素样生长因子1(IGF-1)的影响。【方法】将90例DN气虚血瘀证患者随机分为观察组和对照组,每组各45例。所有患者均接受基础降糖治疗和控制血压、调节脂代谢紊乱等治疗。在此基础上,对照组患者给予羟苯磺酸钙治疗,观察组患者在对照组的基础上联合益气化瘀汤治疗,疗程为3个月。观察2组患者治疗前后中医证候积分、肾功能指标及血清VEGF、IGF-1水平的变化情况,并评价2组患者的临床疗效。【结果】(1)疗效方面,治疗3个月后,观察组的总有效率为91.11%(41/45),对照组为75.56%(34/45),组间比较(χ2检验),观察组的疗效明显优于对照组(P<0.05)。(2)中医证候积分方面,治疗1个月和3个月后,2组患者的中医证候积分均较治疗前明显降低(P<0.05),且治疗3个月后又均较治疗1个月后明显降低(P<0.05);组间比较,观察组在治疗1个月和3个月后对中医证候积分的降低作用均明显优于对照组(P<0.01)。(3)肾功能指标方面,治疗后,2组患者的血肌酐(Scr)、尿素氮(BUN)、肾小球滤过率(GFR)等肾功能指标均较治疗前明显改善(P<0.05),且观察组对各项肾功能指标的改善作用均明显优于对照组(P<0.01)。(4)血清VEGF、IGF-1水平方面,治疗后,2组患者的血清VEGF、IGF-1水平均较治疗前明显降低(P<0.05),且观察组对血清VEGF、IGF-1水平的降低作用均明显优于对照组(P<0.01)。(5)治疗过程中,2组患者均无明显不良反应发生,具有较高的安全性。【结论】益气化瘀汤联合羟苯磺酸钙治疗DN气虚血瘀证患者疗效确切,可有效下调血清VEGF、IGF-1水平,明显改善患者肾功能,显著减轻患者临床症状,且具有较高的安全性。

Correlation between longitudinal crack occurrence and mold heat transfer in continuous casting based on process data mining

The correlation between the longitudinal crack occurrence and integrated heat transfer of the mold with data mining methods was ***,three kinds of support vector machine models based on principal component analysis with different input features were established to explore the effect of integrated heat transfer on the accuracy of the prediction model for the longitudinal *** results show that the accuracy was improved while features including mean and standard deviation of integrated heat transfer were ***,the difference in integrated heat transfer between defect and normal samples under the same process parameters was quantitatively *** with normal samples,the temperature difference of cooling water for defect samples decreased by 0.65%,and the temperature difference fluctuation increased by 31.1%.Finally,the literature data were used to provide support for the quantitative correlation according to defect formation mechanism.A new criterion for the prediction of longitudinal crack and a discovering method for correlation between product quality and process parameters in the manufacturing industry have been provided.

Distribution and bioavailability of mercury in size-fractioned atmospheric particles around an ultra-low emission power plant in Southwest China

Ultra-low emission(ULE)technology retrofits significantly impact the particulate-bound mercury(Hg)emissions from coal-fired power plants(CFPPs);however,the distribution and bioavailability of Hg in size-fractioned particulate matter(PM)around the ULE-retrofitted CF-PPs are less ***,total Hg and its chemical speciation in TSP(total suspended particles),PM_(10)(aerodynamic particle diameter≤10μm)and PM_(2.5)(aerodynamic particle diameter≤2.5μm)around a ULE-retrofitted CFPP in Guizhou Province were *** PM_(2.5)concentration was higher around this ULE-retrofitted CFPP than that in the intra-regional urban cities,and it had higher mass Hg concentration than other sizefractioned *** Hg concentrations in PM had multifarious sources including CFPP,vehicle exhaust and biomass combustion,while they were significantly higher in autumn and winter than those in other seasons(P40%).Mass concentrations of exchangeable,HCl-soluble,elemental,and residual Hg in PM_(2.5)were higher than those in other size-fractioned PM,and were markedly elevated in autumn and winter(P<0.05).In PM_(2.5),HCl-soluble Hg presented a significantly positive relationship with elemental Hg(P<0.05),while residual Hg showed the significantly positive relationships with HCl-soluble Hg and elemental Hg(P<0.01).Overall,these results suggested that atmospheric PM-bound Hg around the ULE-retrofitted CFPP tends to accumulate in finer PM,and has higher bioavailable fractions,while has potential transformation between chemical speciation.

Structural Evolution of Ultra-High Molecular weight Polyethylene Low-Entangled Films with Reserved Shish Crystals During Hot Stretching

Shish crystals are crucial to achieving high performance low-dimensional ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)***,high stretch and shear flow fields are necessary for the formation of shish *** this study,UHMWPE gel films with reserved shish crystals were prepared by gel molding,the structural evolution and properties of UHMWPE films stretched at temperatu res of 100,110,120and 130℃were investigated by in situ small-angle X-ray scattering(SAXS)/ultra-small-angle X-ray scattering(USAXS)/wide-angle X-ray diffraction(WAXD)measu rements as well as scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)*** findings showed that the reserved shish crystals can facilitate the formation and structural evolution of shish-kebab crystals during the hot ***,the reserved shish crystals promote the structu ral evolution of UHMWPE films to a greater extent when stretched at 120 and 130℃,compared to 100 and 110℃,resulting in higher crystallinity,orientation,thermal properties,breaking strength and Young's *** pared to UHMWPE high-entangled films with reserved shish crystals prepared by compression molding,UHMWPE low-entangled films with reserved shish crystals prepared by gel molding are more effective in inducing the formation and evolution of shish-kebab crystals during the hot stretching,resulting in increased breaking strength and Young's modulus.
