Two-dimensional(2D)transition metal chalcogenides(TMCs)hold great promise as novel microwave absorption materials owing to their interlayer interactions and unique magnetoelectric ***,overcoming the impedance mismatch at the low loading is still a challenge for TMCs due to the restricted loss pathways caused by their high-density ***,an interface engineering based on the heterostructure of 2D Cr_(5)Te_(8) and graphite is in situ constructed via a one-step chemical vapor deposit to modulate impedance matching and introduce multiple attenuation ***,the Cr_(5)Te_(8)@EG(ECT)heterostructure exhibits a minimum reflection loss of up to−57.6 dB at 15.4.GHz with a thin thickness of only 1.4.mm under a low filling rate of 10%.The density functional theory calculations confirm that the splendid performance of ECT heterostructure primarily derives from charge redistribution at the abundant intimate interfaces,thereby reinforcing interfacial polarization ***,the ECT coating displays a remarkable radar cross section reduction of 31.9 dB m^(2),demonstrating a great radar microwave scattering *** work sheds light on the interfacial coupled stimulus response mechanism of TMC-based heterogeneous structures and provides a feasible strategy to manipulate high-quality TMCs for excellent microwave absorbers.

Numerical simulation of the sensitivity of the Pacific subtropical-tropical meridional cell to global warming

Sensitivity of the Pacific subtropical-tropical meridional cell to global warming is examined by using a global ocean-atmosphere coupled model developed at LASG/IAP. Results indicate that associated with the increasing of atmospheric carbon dioxide, the most prominent signals of global warming locate at high latitudes, and the change of middle and low latitudes, in particular the surface wind, is relatively weak, which leads to a weak response of the Pacific subtropical-tropical meridional cell. At the time of atmospheric carbon dioxide doubling, the change of the meridional cell strength is smaller than the amplitude of natural variability.

Transparent photovoltaic devices(TPVDs)have attracted increasing attention in emerging electronic *** the application scenarios extend,there raise higher requirements regarding the stability and operating temperature range of *** this work,a unique preparation strategy is proposed for air stable TPVD with a wide operating temperature range,i.e.,a nanoscale architecture termed as H-TPVD is constructed that integrates a free-standing and highly transparent conductive hybrid film of graphene and single-walled carbon nanotubes(G-SWNT TCF for short)with a metal oxide NiO/TiO_(2)*** preparation approach is suitable for scaling *** to the excellent transparent conductivity of the freestanding G-SWNT hybrid film and the ultrathin NiO/TiO_(2)heterojunction(100 nm),H-TPVD selectively absorbs the ultraviolet(UV)band of sunlight and has a transparency of up to 71%in the visible *** integrated nanoscale architecture manifests the significant holecollecting capability of the G-SWNT hybrid film and the efficient carrier generation and separation within the ultrathin NiO/TiO_(2)heterojunction,resulting in excellent performance of the H-TPVD with a specific detectivity of 2.7×10^(10) ***,the freestanding G-SWNT TCF is a super stable and non-porous two-dimensional film that can insulate gas molecules,thereby protecting the surface properties of NiO/TiO_(2)heterojunctions and enhancing the stability of *** subjected to 20,000 cycles and storage in air for three months,the performance parameters such as photo-response signal,output power,and specific detectivity show no noticeable *** particular,the as-fabricated self-powered H-TPVD can operate over a wide temperature range from −180 to 300℃,and can carry out solar-blind UV optical communication in this *** addition,the 4.4.array H-TPVD demonstrates clear optical *** results make it possible for H-TPVD to expand its potential application scenarios.

Evolution of Vertical Electric Currents and Flares in An Active Region

In this paper, solar active region (AR) 6891 is studied. The long term temporal (over a 8 day period) relationahip between vertical current evolution and flare are examined. We found that the day to day variation of the flare number in the active region is more closly associated with the variation of net current intensity than that of total current intensity. The increase in negative current in the weak following polarity area is due to the reduction in negative current in the strong preceding area.

Enhanced electrical and mechanical properties of Bi_(2)Te_(3)-based thermoelectric thick films enabled by a practical dynamic regulation strategy

The application of high-density and high-performance micro thermoelectric devices is still in its infancy,mainly restricted by the low performance of Bi_(2)Te_(3)-based thick film as well as the limited device *** this study,we proposed a dynamic regulation strategy to simultaneously strengthen the thermoelectric and mechanical properties for n-type Bi_(2)Te_(3)-based thick *** effects of growth temperature and time on thermoelectric properties have been firstly *** the thermoelectric properties exhibit consistent degradation with increasing thickness at static growth temperature,an effective rising temperature method is introduced to dynamically regulate the nucleation rate and growing diffusion ***,the grain refinement with compact texture structure leads to a relatively large carrier mobility(77.1 cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1))and appropriate concentration(5.25×10^(19)cm^(-3))as well as further 12%improvement of power factor with an average value up to 12.0 mW·cm^(-1)·K^(-2)over a wide temperature ranging from 313 K to 4.3 ***,significant enhancement of mechanical property is also achieved with high elastic modules(56.03 GPa),hardness(0.63 GPa)and large energy dissipation capacity to prevent *** study provides a practical solution with dynamic temperature control to fabricate high-performance Bi_(2)Te_(3) thick films with enhanced mechanical property and pro-cessing feasibility for micro thermoelectric devices.

The relation between black hole masses and Lorentz factors of the jet components in blazars

We explore the relationship between black hole mass (MBH) and the motion of the jet components for a sample of blazars. The Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) 2 cm Survey and its continuation: Monitoring of Jets in active galactic nuclei (AGNs) with VLBA Experiments (MOJAVE) have observed 278 radio-loud AGNs, of which 14. blazars have reliable measurements of their apparent velocities of the jet components. We calculate the minimal Lorentz factors for these sources from their measured apparent velocities, and their black hole masses are estimated with their broad-line widths. A sig- nificant intrinsic correlation is found between black hole masses and the minimal Lorentz factors of the jet components. The Eddington ratio is only weakly correlated with the min- imal Lorentz factor, which may imply that the Blandford-Znajek (BZ) mechanism may dominate over the Blandford-Payne (BP) mechanism for the jet acceleration (at least) in blazars.

The environmental friendliness and high efficiency of magnetocaloric refrigeration make it a promising substitute for vapor compression ***,the common use of heat transfer fluid in conventional passive magnetic regenerators(PMRs)and active magnetic regenerators(AMRs)makes only partial materials contribute to the regeneration process,which produces large regeneration loss and greatly limits the regeneration effi-ciency and refrigeration performance at high ***,we propose a new conceptual hybrid magnetic regenerator(HMR)composed of multiple solid-state high thermal conductivity materials(HTCMs)and magnetocaloric materials(MCMs),in which both HTCM and MCM elements participate in the regeneration *** novel working mode could greatly reduce regeneration losses caused by dead volume,pressure losses,and temperature nonuniformity in heat transfer substances to markedly improve regeneration efficiency at high working *** the experimentally obtained adiabatic temperature change and magnetic work and with the help of finite element simulation,a maximum temperature of 26 K,a dramatically large cooling power of 8.3 kW/kg,and a maximum ideal exergy efficiency of 54.2%are achieved at the working frequency of 10 Hz for an ideal prototype device of a rotary HMR magnetocaloric refrigerator,which shows potential for achieving an integrative,advanced performance against current AMR/PMR systems.

Design and parameters optimization of the curved sieve for an air suction jujube harvester

In order to improve the screening performance and cleaning effect of the jujube harvesting machinery cleaning device,a vibrating curved screen device was designed in this *** analyzing the structure mechanism of the curved sieve body,it was obtained that the arc-shaped mesh hole spacing S was 15-25 mm and the curved mesh hole curvature U was 90°-150°.By exploring the movement state and stress of jujube and impurities on the curved sieve body,it was determined that the horizontal spacing L of the curved layer sieve was 30 mm and the vertical spacing H was 4.-65 *** the vertical spacing H of the curved layer sieve,the curvature U of the curved mesh hole,and the spacing S of the curved mesh hole as the experimental factors,considering the screening efficiencyαand the impurity contentβof the jujube as the response values,the three-factor three-level quadratic regression orthogonal experiment was designed,establishing the regression mathematical model of each factor and response value,and the multiple target optimization algorithm of Design-expert software was used to optimize various *** results showed that the influence factors on the screening efficiency were in the descending order as:the arc screen spacing,the vertical spacing of the curved layer screen,and the curved screen hole curvature;The significant factors affecting the impurity content of jujube were in the descending order as:the arc screen spacing,the curved screen hole curvature,and the vertical spacing of the curved layer *** experimental results were verified by the optimized combination of parameters:when the vertical spacing H of the curved layer screen was 65 mm,the curved screen hole curvature U was 110°,and the arc screen spacing S was 23 mm,the average screening efficiencyαin the test was 91.09%.The relative error between the experimental verification value and the theoretical optimization value was 1.36%,which was less than 5%.The impurity content of jujubeβin the test w
