Background To investigate the optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)characteristics of diabetic macular edema(DME)at different *** This study was a cross-sectional *** diagnosed with DME were *** was classified into early,advanced,and severe *** vessel dens{2.(VD)in the superficial vascular plexus(SVP),deep vascular plexus(DVP)and foveal avascular zone(FAZ)parameters,including FAZ area,FAZ perimeter,acircular{2. index and foveal VD in a 300-μm-wide region around the FAZ(FD-300),were calculated by the AngioVue software.A multivariate generalized estimating equation was used to evaluate the associations between visual acu{2. and OCTA *** Ninety-two eyes from 74 patients with DME were included in this *** to early(P=0.006)and advanced DME(P=0.003),the acircular{2. index was higher in severe *** whole and parafoveal VD in the DVP decreased in eyes with severe DME compared to early DME(P=0.018,P=0.005,respectively)and advanced DME(P=0.035,P=0.012.respectively).In the multivariate generalized estimating equation,DME sever{2.,FAZ area and foveal thickness were positively associated with worse visual acu{2.(P=0.001,P=0.007 and P=0.001,respectively).Conclusion Compared to early and advanced DME,severe DME showed increased irregular{2. in the FAZ and more extensive vessel damage in the *** sever{2. level of DME,larger FAZ area,and increased foveal thickness could be risk factors for poor visual *** registration The protocol was published in the Chinese Clinical Trial registry(ChiCTr2.00033082..

An effective and reliable prediction of the remaining useful life(rUL)of a tool is important to a metal forming process because it can significantly reduce unexpected maintenance,avoid machine shutdowns and increase system *** study proposes a new data-driven approach to the rUL prediction for metal forming processes under multiple contact sliding *** data-driven approach took advantage of bidirectional long short-term memory(BLSTM)and convolutional neural networks(CNN).A pre-trained light{2.ght CNN-based network,WearNet,was re-trained to classify the wear states of workpiece surfaces with a high accuracy,then the classification results were passed into a BLSTM-based regression model as inputs for rUL *** experimental results demonstrated that this approach was able to predict the rUL values with a small error(below 5%)and a low root mean square error(rMSE)(around 1.5),which was more superior and robust than the other state-of-the-art methods.

Turbine blisk is one of the typical components of gas turbine *** fatigue life of turbine blisk directly affects the reliability and safety of both turbine blisk and aeroengine *** monitor the performance degradation of an aeroengine,an efﬁcient deep learning-based modeling method called convolutional-deep neural network(C-DNN)method is proposed by absorbing the advantages of both convolutional neural network(CNN)and deep neural network(DNN),to perform the probabilistic low cycle fatigue(LCF)life prediction of turbine blisk regarding uncertain influencing *** the C-DNN method,the CNN method is used to extract the useful features of LCF life data by adopting two convolutional layers,to ensure the precision of C-DNN *** two close-connected layers in DNN are employed for the regression modeling of aeroengine turbine blisk LCF life,to keep the ac-curacy of LCF life *** the probabilistic analysis of turbine blisk and the com-parison of methods(ANN,CNN,DNN and C-DNN),it is revealed that the proposed C-DNN method is an effective mean for turbine blisk LCF life prediction and major factors affecting the LCF life were gained,and the method holds high efﬁciency and accuracy in regression modeling and *** study provides a promising LCF life prediction method for complex structures,which contribute to monitor health status for aeroengines operation.

Poly(3-hexylthio) thiophene Field-effect Transistor Device Performance: Impact of the Content of Hexylthio Side Chain on Backbone

regioregular poly(3-hexylthio)thiopene(P3HTT) has emerged tremendous potential in organic electronic applications due to the strong noncovalent interactions from the sulfur atom linked to thiophene. However, P3HTT generally exhibits low charge mobility mostly due to poor solution processability attributed to dense arrangement of hexylthio side chain in polymer, which led to strong noncovalent interactions among sulfur atoms. To balance the nonvalent interaction and aggregation for P3HTT, herein, we systematically study the effect of hexylthio side chain content in polymer backbone on the structure and properties. A series of regioregular P3HTT-based homopolymers(P3HTT, P3HTT-50,P3HTT-33 and P3HTT-2.) were prepared via Kumada catalyst transfer polycondensation method from a set of mono-, bi-, ter-and quarterthiophenes containing different contents of hexylthio side chain. The DFT calculation shows the planarity of polymers backbone could be improved through reducing the density of hexylthio side chain in polymer mainchain. And significant changes in their crystallinity, aggregation and optical properties were observed with the content of hexylthio side chain reducing. The P3HTT-33 displayed the highest field-effect transistor hole mobility of 2.83×10^(-2. cm^(2.·V^(-1)·s^(-1) resulting from a balance between the crystallinity and planarity. This study demonstrates modulating the content of hexylthio side chain in P3HTT is an effective strategy to optimize the opto-electronic properties of polymer obtaining excellent semiconductor device performance.

A novel silver-doped nickel oxide hole-selective contact for crystalline silicon heterojunction solar cells

Based on its band alignment,p-type nickel oxide(NiO_(x))is an excellent candidate material for hole transport layers in crystalline silicon heterojunction solar cells,as it has a smallΔEV and largeΔEC with crystalline ***,to overcome the poor hole selectivity of stoichiometric NiO_(x) due to its low carrier concentration and conductivity,silver-doped nickel oxide(NiO_(x):Ag)hole transport layers with high carrier concentrations were prepared by co-sputtering high-purity silver sheets and pure NiO_(x) *** improved electrical conductivity of NiO_(x) was attributed to the holes generated by the Ag^(+)substituents for Ni^(2.),and moreover,the introduction of Ag^(+)also increased the amount of Ni^(3+)present,both of which increased the carrier concentration in NiO_(x).Ag^(+)doping also reduced the c-Si/NiO_(x) contact resistivity and improved the hole-selective contact with NiO_(x).Furthermore,the problems of particle clusters and interfacial defects on the surfaces of NiO_(x):Ag films were solved by UV-ozone oxidation and high-temperature annealing,which facilitated separation and transport of carriers at the c-Si/NiO_(x) *** constructed c-Si/NiO_(x):Ag solar cell exhibited an increase in open-circuit voltage from 490 to 596 mV and achieved a conversion efficiency of 14.4%.

Electrocatalytic CO_(2.reduction(ECr)offers an attractive approach to realizing carbon neutrality and producing valuable chemicals and fuels using CO_(2.as the ***,the lack of cost-effective electrocatalysts with better performances has seriously hindered its ***,a one-step co-electro{2.osition method was used to introduce Zn,a metal with weak^(*)CO binding energy,into Cu to form Cu/Zn intermetallic catalysts(Cu/Zn IMCs).It was shown that,using an H-cell,the high Faradaic efficiency of C_(2.)hydrocarbons/alcohols()could be achieved in ECr by adjusting the surface metal components and the ap.lied *** suitable conditions,FEC_(2.)and current density could be as high as 75%and 40 mA/cm^(2.,*** with the Cu catalyst,the Cu/Zn IMCs have a lower interfacial charge transfer resistance and a larger electrochemically active surface area(ECSA),which accelerate the ***,the^(*)CO formed on Zn sites can move to Cu sites due to its weak binding with*CO,and thus enhance the C–C coupling on the Cu surface to form C_(2.)products.
