Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of Chinese patent medicines for mucosal administration

The group standard Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of Chinese patent medicines for mucosal administration was released on January 16, 2024, on the national group standards information platform by the Institute of Basic research in Clinical Medicine of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and School and Hospital of Stomatology of Peking University, under the centralized management by the China Association of Chinese Medicine. The standard number is T / CACM 1563. 6-2024. It aims to propose key elements and specify technical methods for safety monitoring and reporting, signal identification, risk assessment, and risk control based on the Drug administration law of the People ' s republic of China (revised in 2019), which establishes normative pharmacovigilance guideline of Chinese patent medicine for mucosal administration that is in line with the characteristics of traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) based on the pharmacovigilance content for clinical application of Chinese patent medicine for mucosal administration. The group standard has been discussed by internal and external experts through multiple rounds of consultation. It serves as a guiding document for stakeholders involved in pharmacovigilance activities, including pharmaceutical license holders, drug manufacturers, medical institutions, research institutes, and pharmaceutical trading enterprises. © 2024 Zhongguo Zhongyi Yanjiuyuan. Long-term cycles of the Solar System concealed in the Mesozoic sedimentary basin record

Mounting evidence indicates that the orbital period of the solar system’s movement through the Milky Way has had a controlling effect on processes of the Earth’s system throughout the *** decipher the response of a given terrestrial basin’s rhythms to galactic dynamics,for the first time,we report long-term cycles recorded in the Mesozoic Ordos Basin(Central China).The astronomical time scale(ATS)was established for each successive sedimentary sequence,and the duration of unconformity episodes was estimated based on the chronological *** this timescale,time-series analysis of the deposition rate is carried out through the Mesozoic Ordos Basin,which reveals compelling periodicities of 93,33,9,3-5,and *** radial solar system motions around the galactic centre and plate tectonic cycles act cooperatively to impact the magmatic tempo of the Qinling orogenic belt and the 93-Myr depositional cycle of the Mesozoic Ordos *** Mesozoic 33-Myr cycle is a sedimentary response to the half-period of the solar system’s vertical oscillation about the galactic plane.A rational explanation is that galactic oscillation affects mantle convection,which is responsible for periodic asthenospheric upwelling and ultimately controls the vertical crust oscillation of the Ordos *** 9-Myr and the higher-frequency 3-5and 2.4-Myr depositional cycles can be sedimentary responses to the Earth’s orbital eccentricity,which affected the temporal variation in depositional environments in the Ordos *** from the galactic-geologic correlations,long-term cycles recorded within a sedimentary basin should also consider the tectonically driven mechanisms at these *** framework provides a new perspective for revealing the astronomical origin of Earth’s rhythms.

Drug administration law of the People′s republic of China (2019 revised edition), which came into effect on December 1, 2019, proposed that " the state shall establish a pharmacovigilance system" . Pharmacovigilance work of Chinese patent medicines is more difficult, and it is necessary to carry out Pharmacovigilance activities that are in line with the characteristics of Chinese patent medicines. Pharmacovigilance guidelines of Chinese patent medicines (T / CACM 1563. 1-2024), based on the principles of Drug Administration Law of the People′ s republic of China (2019 revised edition) and Pharmacovigilance quality management standards (No. 65 of 2021) of the National Medical Products Administration, draws on the EU Pharmacovigilance regulation and the secondary guidelines of International Council for Harmonization of Technical requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH), and it is drafted in accordance with the provisions of Guidelines for standardization work part 1: structure and drafting rules of standardization documents (GB / T1. 1-2020) based on the characteristics of Chinese patent medicines. It serves as a general document for a series of pharmacovigilance guidelines of Chinese patent medicines, such as Guidelines for construction of traditional Chinese medicine pharmacovigilance system in medical institutions (T / CACM 1563. 2-2024), Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of oral Chinese patent medicines (T / CACM 1563. 3-2024), Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine injections (T / CACM 1563. 4-2024), Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of Chinese patent medicines for external use (T / CACM 1563. 5-2024), and Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of Chinese patent medicines for mucosal administration (T / CACM 1563. 6-2024), including four major elements of pharmacovigilance monitoring and reporting of Chinese patent medicines, signal identification, ri

A low-frequency and broadband wave-insulating vibration isolator based on plate-shaped metastructures

A metamaterial vibration isolator, termed as wave-insulating isolator, is proposed, which preserves enough load-bearing capability and offers ultra-low and broad bandgaps for greatly enhanced wave insulation. It consists of plate-shaped metacells,whose symmetric and antisymmetric local resonant modes offer several low and broad mode bandgaps although the complete bandgap remains high and narrow. The bandgap mechanisms, vibration isolation properties, effects of key parameters, and robustness to complex conditions are clarified. As experimentally demonstrated, the wave-insulating isolator can improve the vibration insulation in the ranges of [50 Hz, 180 Hz] and [260 Hz,400 Hz] by 15 dB and 25 dB, respectively, in contrast to the conventional isolator with the same first resonant frequency.

Several popular time-frequency techniques,including the Wigner-Ville distribution,smoothed pseudo-Wigner-Ville distribution,wavelet transform,synchrosqueezing transform,Hilbert-Huang transform,and Gabor-Wigner transform,are investigated to determine how well they can identify damage to *** this work,a synchroextracting transform(SET)based on the short-time Fourier transform is proposed for estimating post-earthquake structural *** performance of SET for artificially generated signals and actual earthquake signals is examined with existing *** other tested techniques,SET improves frequency resolution to a great extent by lowering the influence of smearing along the time-frequency ***,interpretation and readability with the proposed method are improved,and small changes in the time-varying frequency characteristics of the damaged buildings are easily detected through the SET method.

Conversion of labile Pb species into chloropyromorphite(CPY)using phosphorus-bearing amendments was considered to be an ideal strategy in soil passivation ***,the fate and transport of CPY in the soil are poorly *** study aims to fill the knowledge gap by evaluating the fate and transport of CPY under environmentally relevant conditions of humic acid(HA),pH,electrolyte concentration,and species through the saturated sandy *** showed that bare CPY colloids are basically immobile in sandy porous media while the co-existence of HA made the transport of CPY improved by30%-93.5%.Facilitated transport of CPY was attributed to the increased stability of CPY and the repulsive interaction between CPY particles and sands due to HA *** mobility of CPY was also increased with increasing pH from 5.0 to *** the pH was 9 with a10 mmol/L NaCl background solution,the stronger energy barrier between CPY and sand led to enhanced transport *** divalent Ca^(2+)had a more dramatic effect than monovalent Na^(+)on the aggregation and sedimentation of CPY colloids due to its effectivescreening of the surface charge of CPY and bridging interaction with CPY ***-LandauVerwey-Overbeek theory and attachment efficiency calculation indicated that high energy barriers were responsible for the high mobility of CPY colloids,while the retention of CPY in sands was mainly caused by secondary energy minimum and physically *** findings of this work can help to evaluate the fate of soil passivation remediation products in natural water and soil.

High speed sintering,a new powder-bed fusion additive manufacturing technology,utilizes infrared lights(Ir)to intensely heat and melt polymer *** presence of defects such as porosity,which is associated with particle coalescence,is highly dependdent on the level of energy *** study investigate the influcence of energy input on porosity and its subsequent effects on the mechanical properties and microstructures of PEBA *** parts were manufactured with a variety of lamp powers,resulting in a range of energy input levels spanning from low to ***,they underwent testing using Archimedes’method,followed by tensile *** porosity,mechanical characteristics,and energy input exhibit a strong correlation;inadequate energy input was the primary cause of pore *** the reduced Ir light power resulted in the following outcomes:porosity,ultimate tensile strength,and elongation of 1.37%,7.6 MPa,and 194.2%,*** the energy input was further increased,the porosity was reduced to as low as 0.05%and the ultimate tensile strength and elongation were increased to their peak values of 233.8%and 9.1 MPa,respectively.
