To the Editor:Pituitary gonadotroph adenoma is a type of non-functioning pituitary adenoma of which approximately 35%ecrete biologically active luteinizing hormone(LH)or follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),and these adenomas are named functioning gonadotroph adenoma(FGA).We present three cases of FSH-secreting adenomas who were admitted to our hospital between 2014 and *** 1:A 37-year-old woman was admitted due to menstrual irregularity and galactorrhea for 2 *** laboratory tests showed a significantly elevated estradiol 2(E2)level,and multiple cyst fusions could be observed by transvaginal *** pituitary magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)revealed an upper-right wing distension and detected a mass with a size of approximately 7.5 mm×10.7 mm in the saddle area,and a pituitarymacroadenoma was *** patient underwent a transsphenoidal microsurgical resection of the pituitary *** pathologic examination showed a positive result for FSH,LH,and SF-1,and a negative result for growth hormone,insulin-like growth factor 1,TPIT,and PIT1.

Luminescent biosensing in the second nearinfrared(NIR-II) region is featured with superior spatial resolution and high penetration depth by virtue of the suppressed scattering of long-wavelength photons. Hitherto, the reported NIR-II nanoprobes are mostly based on carbon nanotubes, organic fluorophores or semiconducting quantum dots. As an alternative, trivalent lanthanide ions(Ln3+) doped nanoparticles have been emerging as a novel class of promising nanoprobes. In this review, we highlight the recent progress in the design of highly efficient Ln3+-doped NIR-II nanoparticles towards their emerging bioapplications, with an emphasis on autofluorescence-free bioimaging, sensitive bioassay, and accurate temperature sensing. Moreover, some efforts and challenges towards this rapidly expanding field are envisioned.

目的探讨我国中老年人跌倒的相关因素及构建跌倒的列线图预测模型，为中老年跌倒的防控工作提供指导。方法抽样方法为全样本分析，研究数据来源于中国健康与养老追踪调查(China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study, CHARLS)2015年随访数据，以自2013年以来是否曾跌倒为因变量，纳入年龄、BMI(身体质量指数)、左手肌力、右手肌力、站立时间、步行速度、从椅子上起立时间、性别、吸烟、饮酒、腰围、亚洲人骨质疏松自我筛查工具(OSTA指数)共12个变量探讨中老年人跌倒的相关因素，采用SPSS进行1∶1倾向性评分、描述性分析，Rstudio将数据集分为训练集与验证集，训练集进行单因素、多因素回归分析、列线图模型构建及内部验证，验证集进行外部验证。结果共纳入中老年人15 584人，其中检出有跌倒史2 339人(15.0%),无跌倒史13 185人(85.0%)。倾向性评分以1∶1从无跌倒史的13 185人中选出2 339人作为对照组，有跌倒史患者作为患病组，构建数据集，以7∶3将数据集随机分为训练集(3 276人)与验证集(1 402人)。根据单、多因素回归分析结果从训练集选取出年龄、身体质量指数(BMI)、右手肌力、从椅子上起立时间、腰围、骨质疏松OSTA指数等6个变量纳入列线图预测模型，模型ROC曲线下面积为0.704,表明模型具有较好的区分度，校准曲线说明模型具有较高的校准度。内部验证曲线下面积0.708,校准曲线拟合良好。由验证集对跌倒列线图预测模型进行外部验证，外部验证的ROC曲线下面积为0.729,表明模型具有较高的区分度，校准曲线说明模型具有较高的校准度。结论列线图模型可根据年龄、身体质量指数(BMI)、右手肌力、从椅子上起立时间、腰围、骨质疏松OSTA指数等因素预计老年人跌倒的概率，有利于跌倒的预防，可在临床与实际生活中上推广及应用。

Living fossils are evidence of long-term sustained ecological ***,whether living fossils have little molecular changes remains poorly known,particularly in ***,we have introduced a novel method that integrates phylogenomic,comparative genomic,and ecological niche modeling analyses to investigate the rate of molecular evolution of Eupteleaceae,a Cretaceous relict angiosperm family endemic to East *** assembled a high-quality chromosome-level nuclear genome,and the chloroplast and mitochondrial genomes of a member of Eupteleaceae(Euptelea pleiosperma).Our results show that Eupteleaceae is most basal in Ranunculales,the earliest-diverging order in eudicots,and shares an ancient whole-genome duplication event with the other *** document that Eupteleaceae has the slowest rate of molecular changes in the observed *** unusually low rate of molecular evolution of Eupteleaceae across all three independent inherited genomes and genes within each of the three genomes is in association with its conserved genome architecture,ancestral woody habit,and conserved niche *** findings reveal the evolution and adaptation of living fossil plants through large-scale environmental change and also provide new insights into early eudicot diversification.

In the global challenge of Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic,accurate prediction of daily new cases is crucial for epidemic prevention and socioeconomic *** contrast to traditional local,one-dimensional time-series data-based infection models,the study introduces an innovative approach by formulating the short-term prediction problem of new cases in a region as multidimensional,gridded time series for both input and prediction targets.A spatial-temporal depth prediction model for COVID-19(ConvLSTM)is presented,and further ConvLSTM by integrating historical meteorological factors(Meteor-ConvLSTM)is refined,considering the influence of meteorological factors on the propagation of *** correlation between 10 meteorological factors and the dynamic progression of COVID-19 was evaluated,employing spatial analysis techniques(spatial autocorrelation analysis,trend surface analysis,etc.)to describe the spatial and temporal characteristics of the *** the original ConvLSTM,an artificial neural network layer is introduced to learn how meteorological factors impact the infection spread,providing a 5-day forecast at a 0.01°×0.01°pixel *** results using real dataset from the 3.15 outbreak in Shanghai demonstrate the efficacy of Meteor-ConvLSTM,with reduced RMSE of 0.110 and increased R^(2) of 0.125(original ConvLSTM:RMSE=0.702,R^(2)=0.567;Meteor-ConvLSTM:RMSE=0.592,R^(2)=0.692),showcasing its utility for investigating the epidemiological characteristics,transmission dynamics,and epidemic development.

Osteoporosis is a metabolic systemic skeletal disease with high incidence and complex etiology in China and the world. It is closely related to age, environment, genetics, diseases and other influencing factors. Among them, the incidence of osteoporosis in patients with gastrointestinal diseases is high. Due to intestinal inflammation, the intestinal microenvironment changes, and the gut microbiota is imbalanced, which affects the absorption and deposition of calcium and the process of bone metabolism. This experiment hypothesized that probiotic intervention could alter the composition and abundance of gut microbiota, alleviate gut inflammation, and thereby prevent the development of osteoporosis. In the experiment, the ability of Bifidobacterium lactis BL-99 to prevent bone loss was analyzed, and the possible protective mechanism was explored. Methods 6-week-old male C57 BL/6 J mice were divided into 5 groups according to their initial body weight, with 8 mice in each group. The experiment used dextran sodium sulfate(DSS) chemical induction, 2% and 1% DSS solutions were free to drink water for one week, respectively, to establish an ulcerative colitis(UC) mouse animal model, and a week before modeling and during modeling Different types and concentrations of probiotics were administered by gavage for three weeks. During the modeling period, the body weight of the mice was measured every day, and the loose and bloody stools of the mice were observed. Blood, colon, femur and tibia were collected at the end of three weeks.
