Fortifying Healthcare Data Security in the Cloud:A Comprehensive Examination of the EPM-KEA Encryption Protocol

A new era of data access and management has begun with the use of cloud computing in the healthcare industry.Despite the efficiency and scalability that the cloud provides, the security of private patient data is still a majorconcern. Encryption, network security, and adherence to data protection laws are key to ensuring the confidentialityand integrity of healthcare data in the cloud. The computational overhead of encryption technologies could leadto delays in data access and processing rates. To address these challenges, we introduced the Enhanced ParallelMulti-Key Encryption Algorithm (EPM-KEA), aiming to bolster healthcare data security and facilitate the securestorage of critical patient records in the cloud. The data was gathered from two categories Authorization forHospital Admission (AIH) and Authorization for High Complexity Operations.We use Z-score normalization forpreprocessing. The primary goal of implementing encryption techniques is to secure and store massive amountsof data on the cloud. It is feasible that cloud storage alternatives for protecting healthcare data will become morewidely available if security issues can be successfully fixed. As a result of our analysis using specific parametersincluding Execution time (42%), Encryption time (45%), Decryption time (40%), Security level (97%), and Energyconsumption (53%), the system demonstrated favorable performance when compared to the traditional method.This suggests that by addressing these security concerns, there is the potential for broader accessibility to cloudstorage solutions for safeguarding healthcare data.

In this work,the head-on collisions of the non-stationary dissipative soliton in ultracold neutral plasmas(UNPs)are investigated.The extended Poincare-Lighthill-Kuo(PLK)approach is adopted for reducing the fluid equations of the UNPs to two-counterpropagating damped Korteweg-de Vries(dKdV)equations.The dKdV equation is not an integrable Hamiltonian system,i.e.,does not have an exact solution.Thus,one of the main goal of this paper is to find a new general approximate analytical solution to the dKdV equation for investigating the mechanism of the propagation and interaction of the non-stationary dissipative solitons.The residual error is estimated for checking the accuracy of the new obtained solution.The approximate analytical soliton solutions are adopted for deriving the temporal phase shifts after the collision.The impact of physical parameters on the nonstationary dissipative soliton profile and the temporal phase shifts is discussed.The obtained results will contribute to understand the mechanism of propagation and interaction of many nonlinear phenomena in different nonlinear mediums such as ocean,sea,optical fiber,plasma physics,etc.

An investigation of planetary nebulae accompanying PG 1159 central stars,based on Gaia DR2 measurements

This article discusses the physical and kinematical characteristics of planetary nebulae accompanying PG 1159 central stars.The study is based on the parallax and proper motion measurements recently offered by the Gaia space mission.Two approaches were used to investigate the kinematical properties of the sample.The results revealed that most of the studied nebulae arise from progenitor stars in the mass range 0.9-1.75 M⊙.Furthermore,they tend to live within the Galactic thick disk and move with an average peculiar velocity of 61.7±19.2 km s^(-1) at a mean vertical height of 469±79 pc.The locations of the PG 1159 stars on the H-R diagram indicate that they have an average final stellar mass and evolutionary age of 0.58±0.08 M⊙and 25.5±5.3×103 yr,respectively.We found a good agreement between the mean evolutionary age of the PG 1159 stars and the mean dynamical age of their companion planetary nebulae(28.0±6.4×103 yr).

Impact of Inulin Extracted, Purified from (Chicory and Globe Artichoke) Roots and the Combination with Maltodextrin as Prebiotic Dietary Fiber on the Functional Properties of Stirred Bio-Yogurt

Inulin is a prebiotic dietary fiber that plays an integral role in producing functional dairy products with improved health benefits. Therefore, the objectives of this study are as follows: extract and purify inulin from chicory roots and globe artichoke roots;evaluate the physicochemical, functional properties and functional groups of the purified inulin;determine the functional properties of chicory roots inulin-maltodextrin and globe artichoke roots inulin-maltodextrin and compare it with that of the commercial inulin;examine the impact of various inulin on physiochemical, microstructural, textural, sensory characteristics and as prebiotic dietary fiber on probiotic bacteria’s viability of stirred bio-yogurt. The characteristics of the microstructure were investigated by scanning electron microscopy and, Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy to detect the functional group. The resulting inulin exhibited a high yield and purity along with enhanced functional properties. Stirred bio-yogurt fortified with chicory roots inulin or globe artichoke roots inulin showed enhanced physicochemical, microstructural, microbiological, and overall sensorial acceptability followed by chicory roots inulin-maltodextrin or globe artichoke roots inulin-maltodextrin and the commercial inulin as compared to the control. Stirred bio-yogurt samples can offer various health benefits and wide applications as supplement of prebiotic dietary fiber in dairy industry.

背景:皱纹是面部皮肤光老化的重要表现。微针射频（microneedle radiofrequency,MNRF）是近年来新兴的光电技术,可对皮肤深层进行机械及加热双重刺激,引起胶原再生改善皮肤皱纹。目的:回顾性评估MNRF对于面部光老化患者皱纹的疗效。方法:每次MNRF治疗参数为脉冲宽度80–100 ms、能量12–18 W、穿透深度1.7–3.0 mm,间隔3个月进行下一个疗程。于基线及每次治疗后3个月,采用皱纹评估量表（Wrinkle Assessment Scale,WAS）对患者共10个部位的额头水平纹、眉间皱眉纹、眶周纹、前耳线、脸颊折叠、鼻唇沟、上唇线、嘴角线条、口周与下颌之间木偶线、下颌折痕分别进行评分,计算WAS总分,于治疗后各时间点评估WAS改善率。结果:共96名患者接受了至少1个疗程MNRF,年龄25-65岁。其中,24名患者接受了第2个疗程、9名患者接受了第3个疗程。接受1个疗程的患者,基线时WAS总分为14.65±9.20,治疗后下降至11.51±8.70（P＜0.01）;接受2个疗程的患者,基线时WAS总分为15.92±9.48,治疗后下降至12.17±8.83（P＜0.01）;接受3个疗程的患者,基线时WAS总分为17.56±6.99,治疗后显著下降至11.11±7.13（P＜0.01）。WAS改善率,1个疗程后为25.61%,2个疗程后为30.69%,3个疗程后为39.82%。25-30岁组和31-40岁组患者分别经2个疗程和3个疗程后,改善率达50%以上;41-50岁组和51-60岁组经3个疗程后,改善率达30%以上;＞60岁组经3个疗程后,改善率达20%以上。结论:MNRF可用于面部光老化患者皱纹的治疗,年轻患者效果好于年老患者。

Influence of host age and host deprivation on longevity, egg load dynamics and oviposition rate in Microplitis rufiventris

Adult size, longevity, egg load dynamics and oviposition ofMicroplitis rufiventris Kok. which began their development in the first, second, third （preferred hosts） or fourth （non-preferred hosts） instar larvae of Spodoptera littoralis （Boisd.） were studied. The parasitoid size was largely determined by the initial host size at parasitism. Non-ovipositing females derived from older hosts lived for longer periods than those derived from younger ones. However, the ovipositing females, irrespective of their size, lived for almost the same periods. At emergence, the oviducts of adult females contain a significant amount of mature eggs available for oviposition for a few hours on eclosion day. Egg load increases during the early phase of adult life. The amount of additional mature eggs and rate of egg maturation per hour was greater for wasps derived from preferred hosts compared with those in females derived from non-preferred hosts. The pattern of egg production in M. rufiventris females depended on the availability of hosts for parasitization. Host-deprived females depleted the egg complement with aging; the longer the host deprivation, the lower the oviduct egg load. Marked reduction in both realized or potential fecundity of host-deprived females was observed following host availability. Host privation for more than 3 days induced a marked deficit fecundity pattern through the female＇ s life. The realized fecundity was determined by the interaction among host availability, the number of eggs that are matured over the female＇ s life span, oviposition rate and host size from which the female was derived. These results suggest that：（i） M. rufiventris wasp is a weak synovigenic species; （ii） the maturation of additional eggs is inhibited once the maximum oviduct egg load is reached; （iii） the egg load of the newly emerged female is significantly less than the realized fecundity; and （iv） because M. rufiventris females oviposit fewer eggs when they begin depleting their egg supply at 3 days, augmentative releases will

Investigation on ²²⁶Ra, ²³⁸Th, 40⁴⁰K and ¹³⁷Cs Concentrations in Common Polishing Materials Consumed by Inhabitants in Saudi Arabia

Knowledge of radioactivity present in polishing materials enables one to assess any possible radiological risks to human health. In this work, the radioactivity due to the presence of 226Ra, 232Th, 40K, and 37Cs has been measured in polishing materials con-sumed in Saudi Arabia using gamma spectrometry with HPGe. The activity concentra-tions of 226Ra, 232Th, 40K and 137Cs ranged from 13.61 ± 0.005 to 0.60 ± 0.002, 18.43 ± 0.003 to 0.78 ± 0.001, 342.59 ± 0.009 to 2.47 ± 0.001 and 1.47 ± 0.001 to 0.55 ± 0.001 Bq/l, respectively. For 226Ra and 40K, the highest values are measured in stainless steel polisher. The highest values also measured in metal polisher (copper-chrome) and disinfectant cleaner and polisher sample for 232Th and 137Cs. Radium equivalent activ-ity due to the natural radioactivity of the investigated samples ranged from 51.37 to 1.24 Bq/l. This value is less than the recommended values in the established standards. The evaluated data were compared with the literature data. Our results indicate that no significant radiological hazards arise from using investigated samples hence quite safe to be used as polishing materials.

Functional Ice Cream with Coffee-Related Flavor

In this study, Siwi roasted date seeds (pits) as a by-product of the date factories were used in powder form for ice cream fortification to produce a new product with coffee-like flavor. Also, this product possesses functional, nutritional and health benefits as it contains, minerals, phenolic compounds and possess antioxidant activity. Six ice cream mixes were prepared: plain ice cream without additives (control), five ice cream treatments supplemented with powder of the Nescafé (3%), Coffee (3%) and Roasted Date Seeds Powder (RDSP) with ratio of 3%, 4% and 5%, respectively. The results showed that increasing the added percentage of Roasted Date Seeds Powder (RDSP) to the ice cream mixes leads to an increase in the total solids, fibers, total nitrogen and ash content of the final product. Biological Studies on Bio-Yoghurt Fortified with Prebiotic Obtained from <i>Jerusalem artichoke</i>

Inulin, an oligosaccharide produced by several plants, has been shown to enhance the viability of probiotic cultures in milk through storage. Jerusalem artichoke ( Helianthus tuberosus L.) is an interested prebiotic because its tuber has risen content of inulin and fructo-oligosaccharides. This study was aimed to: 1) set the effect of Jerusalem artichoke in deferent concentrations (2.5% & 5%) on the growth of probiotic Lb. acidophilus P106 in the bio-yoghurt during cold storage at 5℃ and sensory evaluation of probiotic yoghurts;2) study the effect of feeding with this synbiotic fermented milk on diabetic mice. It could be concluded that the Jerusalem artichoke influenced the growth of Lb. acidophilus P106 and 5% (w/v) Jerusalem artichoke was given the highest growth and sensory evaluation. On the other hand, no serious adverse effects were observed;the reduction of blood glucose was observed at the termination of empirical phase, also, high level (5%) of Jerusalem artichoke led to more reduction of blood glucose, cholesterol levels and total lipids compared with control.

Measurement of radon concentrations in soil and the extent of their impact on the environment from Al-Qassim, Saudi Arabia

Soil gas radon 222Rn concentration was measured at 12 location in the Al-Qassim area, using radon gas analyzer-type Alpha GUARD 2000 PRQ from Genitron Instruments (Germany). In each location four different depths were taken for soil gas measurements, staring from the ground surface. The results suggested that the largest concentration was 340 ± 22 Bq/m3 for 60cm depth at in Al-Tarfia point sample P3, and the smallest concentration was 26 ± 5 Bq/m3 for surface 0 cm depth at El-Bakria, point sample P5. The results obtained from this study indicate that the region has background radioactivity levels within the natural limits.
