Recently,many audio search sites headed by Google have used audio fingerprinting technology to search for the same audio and protect the music copyright using one part of the audio ***,if there are fingerprints per audio file,then the amount of query data for the audio search *** this paper,we propose a novel method that can reduce the number of fingerprints while providing a level of performance similar to that of existing *** proposed method uses the difference of Gaussians which is often used in feature extraction during image signal *** the experiment,we use the proposed method and dynamic time warping and undertake an experimental search for the same audio with a success rate of 90%.The proposed method,therefore,can be used for an effective audio search.

In this paper,we prove some Liouville-type theorems for the stationary magnetomicropolar fluids under suitable conditions in three space *** first prove that the solutions are trivial under the assumption of certain growth conditions for the mean oscillations of the *** then we show similar results assuming that the solutions are contained in L^(p)(R^(3))with p∈[2,9/2).Finally,we show the same result for lower values of p∈[1,9/4)with the further assumption that the solutions vanish at infinity.

Measurements of physiological parameters such as pulse rate,voice,and motion for precise health care monitoring requires highly sensitive *** strain gauges are useful sensors that can be used in human health care *** this study,we propose a crack-based strain gauge fabricated by fused deposition modeling(FDM)-based three-dimensional(3D)-*** strain gauge combined a 3D-printed thermoplastic polyurethane layer and a platinum layer as the flexible substrate and conductive layer,*** a layer-by-layer deposition process,self-aligned crack arrays were easily formed along the groove patterns resulting from stress concentration during stretching *** gauges with a 200-μm printing thickness exhibited the most sensitive performance(~442%increase in gauge factor compared with that of a flat sensor)and the fastest recovery time(~99%decrease in recovery time compared with that of a flat sensor).In addition,500 cycling tests were conducted to demonstrate the reliability of the ***,various applications of the strain gauge as wearable devices used to monitor human health and motion were *** results support the facile fabrication of sensitive strain gauges for the development of smart devices by additive manufacturing.

Synthetic grafting needs improvements to eliminate secondary surgeries for the removal of implants after healing of the defected *** scaffolds are engineered to serve as temporary templates,which support the affected tissue and gradually degrade through the healing *** mechanical function to withstand the anatomic loading conditions,scaffolds should also provide a decent biological function for the diffusion of nutrients and oxygen to the cells,and excretion of the wastes from the cells to promote the new tissue growth and ***,the degradation byproducts of the scaffolds should be safe to the human *** of such multifunctional scaffolds requires selection of the right material,design,and manufacturing *** has been recognized as the prominent biodegradable metal with regards to its mechanical properties matching to that of human bone,degradability in the body fluid,and its ability to stimulate new tissue *** with intricate porous structures can be designed according to the patient-specific anatomic data using computer aided *** manufacturing(AM)is the right method to materialize these models rapidly with reasonably acceptable range of dimensional ***,the recent research trend is to develop ideal scaffolds using biodegradable Mg through AM *** review compiles and discusses the available literature on the AM of biodegradable Mg parts from the viewpoints of material compositions,process conditions,formation quality,dimensional accuracy,microstructure,biodegradation,and mechanical *** current achievements are summarized together,and future research directions are identified to promote clinical applications of biodegradable Mg through the advancement of AM.

Genetic Algorithm to Optimize the Design of Main Combustor and Gas Generator in Liquid Rocket Engines

A genetic algorithm was used to develop optimal design methods for the regenerative cooled combustor and fuel-rich gas generator of a liquid rocket engine. For the combustor design, a chemical equilibrium analysis was applied, and the profile was calculated using Rao's method. One-dimensional heat transfer was assumed along the profile, and cooling channels were designed. For the gas-generator design, non-equilibrium properties were derived from a counterflow analysis, and a vaporization model for the fuel droplet was adopted to calculate residence time. Finally, a genetic algorithm was adopted to optimize the designs. The combustor and gas generator were optimally designed for 30-tonf, 75-tonf, and 150-tonf engines. The optimized combustors demonstrated superior design characteristics when compared with previous non-optimized results. Wall temperatures at the nozzle throat were optimized to satisfy the requirement of 800 K, and specific impulses were maximized. In addition, the target turbine power and a burned-gas temperature of 1000 K were obtained from the optimized gas-generator design.

CF4 gas emitted in the semiconductor and display manufacturing process is a very harmful greenhouse *** must be removed or converted safely due to its extreme *** a CF4 decomposition system using a thermal plasma scrubber was commercialized,its removal efficiency is *** this work,a numerical analysis of CF4 decomposition in the thermal plasma scrubber was carried out in order to propose an efficient decomposition *** decomposition and recombination temperatures of CF4 were analyzed using thermodynamic equilibrium *** chemical reaction of CF4 decomposition into carbon and fluorine gas was considered in this numerical *** injection position and angle of the CF4 were controlled in order to enhance the decomposition *** vertical injection of CF4 near the torch exit improved the mixing of the CF4 with the thermal plasma *** addition,it was confirmed that the high temperature region expanded due to a vortex generated by strong turbulence in the bottleneck-shaped *** a result,it is revealed that the CF4 injection location and the reactor configuration are the most important factors in improving the decomposition rate.

Approximate solutions of Schrdinger equation for Eckart potential with centrifugal term

The approximate analytical solutions of the Schrodinger equation for the Eckart potential are presented for the arbitrary angular momentum by using a new approximation of the centrifugal term. The energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wavefunctions are obtained for different values of screening parameter. The numerical examples are presented and the results are in good agreement with the values in the literature. Three special cases, i.e., s-wave, ξ= λ=1, and β=0, are investigated.

For simultaneous and quantitative thermophysical measurements of ultrasmall liquid volumes,we have recently developed and reported heated fluidic resonators(HFRs).In this paper,we improve the precision of HFRs in a vacuum by significantly reducing the thermal loss around the sensing element.A vacuum chamber with optical,electrical,and microfluidic access is custom-built to decrease the convection loss by two orders of magnitude under 10-4 mbar *** a result,the measurement sensitivities for thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity are increased by 4.1 and 1.6 times,*** differentiating between deionized water(H2O)and heavy water(D2O)with similar thermophysical properties and~10%different mass densities,the signal-to-noise ratio(property differences over standard error)for H2O and D2O is increased by 9 and 5 times for thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity,respectively.
