特发性左心室流出道心外膜侧室性心动过速

目的报道９例经电生理检查证实的特发性左心室流出道心外膜侧室性心动过速（室速）的体表心电图及电生理检查特点。方法男性５例，女性４例，年龄１５－５８岁，６例为运动诱发的持续性室速，３例为运动诱发的非持续性室速。结果室速时，９例体表心电图ＱＲＳ波全部呈现右束支阻滞图形（８例胸前导联Ｖ１－Ｖ６呈现高Ｒ波），Ⅱ、Ⅲ、ａＶＦ导联为高Ｒ波，Ｉ、ａＶＬ导联为ＱＳ波。电生理检查，右心室和左心室心内膜标测未发现最早心室激动点，在较早心室心内膜激动处的心内电图多呈现起始部低幅电位，提示远场电位。心室内起搏标测未发现与室速体表心电图１２导联ＱＲＳ波形态相同的起搏点。８例通过心脏静脉系统标测发现最早的心室激动点［体表心电图最早ＱＲＳ波前１５－５０ｍｓ，平均（３２ ± １２）ｍｓ］和完全或近乎完全的起搏标测位于心大静脉的远端１例、心前间隔静脉的近端７例。１例患者在左心室流出道消融成功，１例患者在心大静脉远端血管内消融成功。其他患者在右心室和／或左心室内消融失败。结论心脏静脉标测可以鉴别出特发性左心室流出道心外膜侧室速。

AIm:To study patients with atrial fibrillation and hypertension who had successful catheter ablation for changes in blood pressure 1 year ***:A retrospective study was performed on patients who had catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation(AF) and hypertension(HTN) which included local autonomic ganglionated plexi denervation and pulmonary veins *** the records of 119 patients,followup data was found in order to determine the presence of sinus rhythm and data on systolic(SBP) and diastolic blood pressure at 2 wk,3 mo,6 mo and 1 year after the ablation *** echocardiograms were taken at the time of the catheter procedure to determine left atrial dimensions(LADs) and left ventricular ***:There was no significant difference in the preablation mean blood pressures between the two groups(P = 0.08).After 1 year 33 of the 60 with AF and HTN were in sinus rhythm,of whom 12 had normal LADs,≤ 4 cm Group 1,and 21 had enlarged left atria(LADs > 4 cm,Group 2).For Group 1,at 1 year of follow up,there was a significant difference in the SBP(119.2 ± 13 mm Hg) compared to pre-ablation(142.6 ± 13.7 mm Hg,P = 0.001).For Group 2,there was no significant difference in the SBP,pre-ablation(130.3 ± 17.5 mm Hg) and at 1 year of follow up(130.4 ± 13.4 mm Hg,P = 0.75).All patients were on similar anti-hypertensive *** was a trend for a greater left ventricular size in Group 2 compared to Group ***:We suggest that Group 1 had HTN due to sympathetic hyperactivity,neurogenic HTN;whereas HTN in Group 2 was based on arterial vasoconstriction.

Investigation of carbon dioxide photoreduction process in a laboratory-scale photoreactor by computational fluid dynamic and reaction kinetic modeling

The production of solar fuels via the photoreduction of carbon dioxide to methane by titanium oxide is a promising process to control greenhouse gas emissions and provide alternative renewable fuels. Although several reaction mechanisms have been proposed, the detailed steps are still ambiguous, and the limiting factors are not well defined. To improve our understanding of the mechanisms of carbon dioxide photoreduction, a multiphysics model was developed using COmSOL. The novelty of this work is the computational fluid dynamic model combined with the novel carbon dioxide photoreduction intrinsic reaction kinetic model, which was built based on three-steps, namely gas adsorption, surface reactions and desorption, while the ultraviolet light intensity distribution was simulated by the Gaussian distribution model and Beer-Lambert model. The carbon dioxide photoreduction process conducted in a laboratory-scale reactor under different carbon dioxide and water moisture partial pressures was then modeled based on the intrinsic kinetic model. It was found that the simulation results for methane, carbon monoxide and hydrogen yield match the experiments in the concentration range of 10^(−4) mol·m^(–3) at the low carbon dioxide and water moisture partial pressure. Finally, the factors of adsorption site concentration, adsorption equilibrium constant, ultraviolet light intensity and temperature were evaluated.

Ciliated protists represent one of the most primitive and diverse lineages of eukaryotes,with nuclear dimorphism,a distinctive sexual process(conjugation),and extensive genome *** divergent ciliate lineages,the peritrich order Sessilida includes members with a colonial lifestyle,which may hint to an independent evolutionary attempt for multicellularity,although they are still single-celled *** date,the evolution and phylogeny of this group are still far from clear,in part due to the paucity of molecular and/or morphological data for many *** this study,we extend taxon sampling of a loricate group of sessilids by obtaining 69 new r DNA(SSU r DNA,ITS1-5.8S rDNA-ITS2,and LSU r DNA)sequences from 20 wellcharacterized representative species and analyze the phylogenetic relationships within *** main findings are:(i)the genera Rhabdostyla and Campanella each represents a unique taxon at family level,supporting the establishment of two new families,i.e.,Rhabdostylidae *** Campanellidae ***.,respectively,the former being sister to a morphologically heterogeneous clade comprising Astylozoidae and several incertae sedis species and the latter occupying the basal position within the Sessilida clade;(ii)the structure of infundibular polykinety 3 is likely to be a phylogenetically informative character for resolving evolutionary relationships among sessilids;(iii)differences between sparsely and the densely arranged silverline systems could be a suprageneric taxonomic character;(iv)the monophyly of Vaginicolidae is confirmed,which is consistent with its specialized morphology,i.e.,the possession of a typical peritrich lorica which might be an apomorphy for this group;(v)within Vaginicolidae,the monotypic Cothurniopsis sensu Stokes,1893 is a synonym of Cothurnia Ehrenberg,1831,and a new combination is created,i.e.,Cothurnia valvata ***.;(vi)Vaginicola sensu lato comprises at least two distinctly divergent clades,one affiliated w

Recent studies have revealed a high diversity of pleurostomatid ciliates in brackish habitats. Here, a novel species, Pseudolitonotus spirelis gen. et sp. n., isolated from a mangrove wetland of southern China, was investigated based on living observation, protargol staining, and molecular analyses. The new genus Pseudolitonotus gen. n. is characterized by the last left somatic kinety (LKn) being shortened and none of the right somatic kineties extending to the anterior end of the cell, thus distinguishing it from all known pleurostomatid genera. The type species, Pseudolitonotus spirelis sp. n., is characterized by the possession of two macronuclear nodules, 11–15 right and 7–9 left kineties, a single contractile vacuole subterminally located, extrusomes evenly spaced along the entire ventral margin and some forming an “apical group”, two types of cortical granules, and the bottom of the oral slit invariably being twisted. Litonotus gracilis (Pan et al. Eur J Protistol 51:494–506, 2015) is believed to be another member of this new genus as its LKn and right somatic kineties are all shortened. Hence, a new combination, Pseudolitonotus gracilis (Pan et al., 2015) comb. n., is suggested and its diagnosis is improved. molecular phylogenetic analyses based on SSU rDNA sequence data reveal that Pseudolitonotus gen. n. is monophyletic and groups with Apolitonotus (Pan et al. J Eukaryot microbiol 67:252–262, 2020) of the family Protolitonotidae (Wu et al. Zool Scr 46:245–253, 2017). However, the familial assignment of this new genus is uncertain based on current data.

The first measurement of impedance on free-standing diamond films from 0.1 Hz to 10 mHz up to 300℃ were reported. A wide range of chemical vapour deposition （CVD） materials were investigated, but here we concentrate on ‘black＇ diamond grown by microwave plasma enhanced CVD （mWPECVD）. The Cole-Cole （Z′ via Z″） plots are well fitted to a RC parallel circuit model and the equivalent resistance and capacitance for the diamond films have been estimated using the Zview curve fitting. The results show only one single semicircle response at each temperature measured. It was found that the resistance decreases from 62 mΩ at room temperature to 4 kΩ at 300℃, with an activation energy around 0.51 eV. The equivalent capacitance is maintained at the level of 100 pF up to 300℃ suggesting that the diamond grain boundaries are dominating the conduction. At 400℃, the impedance at low frequencies shows a linear tail, which can be explained that the AC polarization of diamond/Au interface occurs.

The antimalarial drug-resistance conundrum which threatens to reverse the great strides taken to curb the malaria scourge warrants an urgent need to find novel chemical scaffolds to serve as templates for the development of new antimalarial *** represent a viable alternative source for the discovery of unique potential antiplasmodial chemical *** expedite the discovery of new antiplasmodial compounds from plants,the aim of this study was to use phylogenetic analysis to identify higher plant orders and families that can be rationally prioritised for antimalarial drug *** queried the Pubmed database for publications documenting antiplasmodial properties of natural compounds isolated from higher ***,we manually collated compounds reported along with plant species of origin and relevant pharmacological *** systematically assigned antiplasmodial-associated plant species into recognised families and orders,and then computed the resistance index,selectivity index and physicochemical properties of the compounds from each taxonomic *** the generated phylogenetic trees and the biological data of each clade allowed for the identification of 3‘hot’plant orders and *** top 3 ranked plant orders were the(i)Caryophyllales,(ii)Buxales,and(iii)*** top 3 ranked plant families were the(i)Ancistrocladaceae,(ii)Simaroubaceae,and(iii)*** highly active natural compounds(IC_(50)≤1μm)isolated from these plant orders and families are structurally unique to the‘legacy’antimalarial *** study was able to identify the most prolific taxa at order and family rank that we propose be prioritised in the search for potent,safe and drug-like antimalarial molecules.
