To meet the needs of preventing information leakage in space engineering and military industry,an efficient method was introduced to obtain layered electromagnetic shielding sealing rubber.The carbon fiber,Ni-Fe coating,and Carbon Nano Tube(CNT)were combined by chemical plating and in-situ polymerization to obtain a lightweight(0.14 g/cm^(2))and thin(1 mm thick)Carbon fiber Fabric(CF)/Ni-Fe/CNT/silicone layered electromagnetic shielding composites.The layered material obtained by adjusting the electroless plating time exhibited a high Shielding Efficiency(SE)of 60.2–85.5 d B in the range of 0–4800 MHz,which can be used for aviation electromagnetic shielding.Carbon fibers and carbon nanotubes mainly attenuated electromagnetic waves through absorption loss,while the nickel-iron alloy coating through reflection loss interacted with the magnetic vector of incident Electro Magnetic(EM)radiation and magnetic dipoles,therefore,the EM Interference(EMI)shielding composite attenuated EM waves with the“absorptionreflection-absorption”cooperative interaction.Moreover,the flexible fabric substrate adhered with silicone rubber possessed a breaking elongation of 52.3%,which can be utilized as a good sealing material.Simultaneously,the outstanding exothermicity(67.2℃ under the applied voltage of 5 V)makes it possible to be applied in electric heating area.The electromagnetic shielding composites prepared in this paper have good potential in the fields of precision electronic equipment and aviation systems.

This paper proposes an autonomous maneuver decision method using transfer learning pigeon-inspired optimization(TLPIO)for unmanned combat aerial vehicles(UCAVs)in dogfight engagements.Firstly,a nonlinear F-16 aircraft model and automatic control system are constructed by a MATLAB/Simulink platform.Secondly,a 3-degrees-of-freedom(3-DOF)aircraft model is used as a maneuvering command generator,and the expanded elemental maneuver library is designed,so that the aircraft state reachable set can be obtained.Then,the game matrix is composed with the air combat situation evaluation function calculated according to the angle and range threats.Finally,a key point is that the objective function to be optimized is designed using the game mixed strategy,and the optimal mixed strategy is obtained by TLPIO.Significantly,the proposed TLPIO does not initialize the population randomly,but adopts the transfer learning method based on Kullback-Leibler(KL)divergence to initialize the population,which improves the search accuracy of the optimization algorithm.Besides,the convergence and time complexity of TLPIO are discussed.Comparison analysis with other classical optimization algorithms highlights the advantage of TLPIO.In the simulation of air combat,three initial scenarios are set,namely,opposite,offensive and defensive conditions.The effectiveness performance of the proposed autonomous maneuver decision method is verified by simulation results.

Monoclonal antibodies have been successfully incorporated into the current therapeutical landscape of lung cancer in the last decades.Recently,with technological advances,bispecific antibodies(bsAbs)have also shown robust efficacy in the treatment of malignant cancers,including lung cancer.These antibodies target two independent epitopes or antigens and have been extensively explored in translational and clinical studies in lung cancer.Here,we outline the mechanisms of action of bsAbs,related clinical data,ongoing clinical trials,and potent novel compounds of various types of bsAbs in clinical studies,especially in lung cancer.We also propose future directions for the clinical development of bsAbs,which might bring a new era of treatment for patients with lung cancer.

In active collision avoidance,the trajectory tracking controller determines the deviation from the reference path and the vehicle stability.The main objective of this study was to reduce the tracking error and improve the tracking performance in collision avoidance.Unlike the previously proposed model predictive control(MPC)strategies with constant sampling time,an improved MPC controller with varying sampling time based on the hierarchical control framework was proposed in this paper.Compared with the original MPC tracking controller,the improved MPC controller demonstrated better adaptive capability for the varying road adhesion coefficients and vehicle speed on a curved road.The simulation results revealed that the hierarchical control framework generated an optimal trajectory for collision avoidance in real-time by minimizing the potential field energy.

Direct conversion of solar energy into chemical fuels via semiconducting materials through photocatalytic technology is a sustainable way to tackle the global warming, environmental issue and energy crisis. Transition metal carbides and nitrides(MXenes), a newly emerging class of 2D layered materials, has gained tremendous attention as a noble metal-free co-catalyst for boosting photoreactivity due to its extraordinary characteristics like elemental abundance, excellent electrical conductivity, abundant surface functional groups, unique hydrophilic behavior and flexible modulation of chemical composition. The rational integration of low-dimensional MXenes in the form of 2D layered structures or 0D quantum dots with diverse semiconducting materials offer more versatile and robust heterostructured-photocatalysts that are applicable in solar fuel generation. Herein, we summarize the recent advances and achievements in the synthesis of low-dimensional MXenes and their application in hydrogen production from water splitting and CO_(2) photoreduction. A comprehensive discussion of the fundamentals for solar fuel production, synthesis strategies and theoretical calculations for MXenes-based photocatalysts are also given. Finally, the existing challenges and further perspectives of MXenes-based nanostructures for efficient solar fuel production are addressed.

Chung Un Lee,(李宗恩,1894-1962)was a pioneer of tropical medicine research in China,serving as the president of Guiyang Medical College,the dean of Peking Union Medical College,the vice president of the Chinese Medical Association,a member of the British Medical Association,and the Far Eastem Tropical Medical Association(Fig.1)(Lu,1992).Chung Un Lee spent his life in medical education and scientific research,with outstanding achievements in research on flariasis,schistosomiasis,malaria,and kala-azar,confirming the reservoir of filariasis in China,innovating the application of plasmochin to combat malaria,proving that sandflies and dogs are sources of infection in human kalaazar,and making a clinical diagnosis of the early manifestations of kala-azar in China.Chung Un Lee is a distinguished medical scientist and medical educator,one of the founders of Chinese Tropical Medicine,who fought for 40 years for the prevention and treatment of tropical diseases in China and conducted pioneering research in Chinese Tropical Medicine.

Highly active and durable electrocatalysts towards oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)are imperative for the commercialization application of proton exchange membrane fuel cells.By manipulating ligand effect,structural control,and strain effect,we report here the precise preparation of Mo-doped Pt_(3)Co alloy nanowires(Pt_(3)Co-Mo NWs)as the efficient catalyst towards ORR with high specific activity(0.596 mA cm^(−2))and mass activity(MA,0.84 A mg^(−1)_(Pt)),much higher than those of undoped counterparts.Besides activity,Pt_(3)Co-Mo NWs also demonstrate excellent structural stability and cyclic durability even after 50,000 cycles,again surpassing control samples without Mo dopants.According to the strain maps and DFT calculations,Mo dopants could modify the electronic structure of both Pt and Co to achieve not only optimized oxygen-intermediate binding energy on the interface but also increased the vacancy formation energy of Co,together leading to enhanced activity and durability.This work provides not only a facile methodology but also an in-depth investigation of the relationship between structure and properties to provide general guidance for future design and optimization.

Enzymatic pretreatment mitigates the dissemination of antibiotic resistance genes via regulating microbial populations and gene expressions during food waste fermentation

Food waste(FW)has been recognized as essential reservoir for resource recovery via anaerobic fermentation,which could also bring the potential risk of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)dissemination.Although the structural deficiency of FW could be stimulated by enzymatic pretreatment to enhance fermentation efficiency,the influences of enzymatic pretreatment on ARGs fate and microbial metabolic pathways involved in ARGs dissemination have rarely been reported.This work proved that enzymatic pretreatment could effectively decrease the total abundance of ARGs(reduced by 13.8%-24.5%)during long-term FW fermentation.It was found that enzymatic pretreatment significantly reduced the ARGs belonging to the efflux pump,which might be ascribed to its ability to increase membrane permeability.Furthermore,enzymatic pretreatment was in favor of reducing microbial diversity and various potential ARGs host(e.g.,Methanosarcina,Clostridium,Prevotella,Parabacteroides).Also,this pretreatment remarkably up-regulated the genetic expressions involved in ABC transporter(e.g.,eryF and mntA)and down-regulated the genetic expressions that participated in DNA replication,two-component systems(e.g.,uphA and cckA),and quorum sensing(e.g.,rpfF and lsrG),thereby decreasing ARGs transmission.This study would expand the insight of the influences of pretreatment method on ARGs fate during FW fermentation,and offer practical guidance on the sustainable management of FW.

To the Editor:In 1996,Parodi et al^([1])introduced the technique of fenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair(f-EVAR)for treatment of pararenal abdominal aortic aneurysms.They use physician modified stent grafts(PMSGs)for fenestration,which allows for stent grafts to gain sufficient proximal sealing zones and maintain the blood perfusion of visceral arteries.^([2])Stent grafts used in the f-EVAR technique developed from PMSGs to Company Modified Devices(CMDs)and off-the-shelf devices.^([3])To improve the precision of PMSGs and shorten the time of stent graft modification,various techniques that assist in the process of fenestration have been researched and developed,including 3-dimensional(3D)printing technique,the Mixed Reality(MR)technique,and the 3D parametric surface planar topological guide plate.This article describes the current status and future development of these techniques.
