Pathological vascular remodeling is a hallmark of various vascular diseases.Previous research has established the significance of andrographolide in maintaining gastric vascular homeostasis and its pivotal role in modulating endothelial barrier dysfunction,which leads to pathological vascular remodeling.Potassium dehydroandrographolide succinate(PDA),a derivative of andrographolide,has been clinically utilized in the treatment of inflammatory diseases precipitated by viral infections.This study investigates the potential of PDA in regulating pathological vascular remodeling.The effect of PDA on vascular remodeling was assessed through the complete ligation of the carotid artery in C57BL/6 mice.Experimental approaches,including rat aortic primary smooth muscle cell culture,flow cytometry,bromodeoxyuridine(BrdU)incorporation assay,Boyden chamber cell migration assay,spheroid sprouting assay,and Matrigel-based tube formation assay,were employed to evaluate the influence of PDA on the proliferation and motility of smooth muscle cells(SMCs).Molecular docking simulations and co-immunoprecipitation assays were conducted to examine protein interactions.The results revealed that PDA exacerbates vascular injury-induced pathological remodeling,as evidenced by enhanced neointima formation.PDA treatment significantly increased the proliferation and migration of SMCs.Further mechanistic studies disclosed that PDA upregulated myeloid differentiation factor 88(MyD88)expression in SMCs and interacted with T-cadherin(CDH13).This interaction augmented proliferation,migration,and extracellular matrix deposition,culminating in pathological vascular remodeling.Our findings underscore the critical role of PDA in the regulation of pathological vascular remodeling,mediated through the MyD88/CDH13 signaling pathway.

Integrated Production and Transportation Scheduling Method in Hybrid Flow Shop

The connection between production scheduling and transportation scheduling is getting closer in smart manufacturing system, and both of those problems are summarized as NP-hard problems. However, only a few studies have considered them simultaneously. This paper solves the integrated production and transportation scheduling problem(IPTSP) in hybrid flow shops, which is an extension of the hybrid flow shop scheduling problem(HFSP). In addition to the production scheduling on machines, the transportation scheduling process on automated guided vehicles(AGVs)is considered as another optimization process. In this problem, the transfer tasks of jobs are performed by a certain number of AGVs. To solve it, we make some preparation(including the establishment of task pool, the new solution representation and the new solution evaluation), which can ensure that satisfactory solutions can be found efficiently while appropriately reducing the scale of search space. Then, an effective genetic tabu search algorithm is used to minimize the makespan. Finally, two groups of instances are designed and three types of experiments are conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method is effective to solve the integrated production and transportation scheduling problem.

Cortico-striatal gamma oscillations are modulated by dopamine D3 receptors in dyskinetic rats

Long-term levodopa administration can lead to the development of levodopa-induced dyskinesia.Gamma oscillations are a widely recognized hallmark of abnormal neural electrical activity in levodopa-induced dyskinesia.Currently,studies have reported increased oscillation power in cases of levodopa-induced dyskinesia.However,little is known about how the other electrophysiological parameters of gamma oscillations are altered in levodopa-induced dyskinesia.Furthermore,the role of the dopamine D3 receptor,which is implicated in levodopa-induced dyskinesia,in movement disorder-related changes in neural oscillations is unclear.We found that the cortico-striatal functional connectivity of beta oscillations was enhanced in a model of Parkinson’s disease.Furthermore,levodopa application enhanced cortical gamma oscillations in cortico-striatal projections and cortical gamma aperiodic components,as well as bidirectional primary motor cortex(M1)↔dorsolateral striatum gamma flow.Administration of PD128907(a selective dopamine D3 receptor agonist)induced dyskinesia and excessive gamma oscillations with a bidirectional M1↔dorsolateral striatum flow.However,administration of PG01037(a selective dopamine D3 receptor antagonist)attenuated dyskinesia,suppressed gamma oscillations and cortical gamma aperiodic components,and decreased gamma causality in the M1→dorsolateral striatum direction.These findings suggest that the dopamine D3 receptor plays a role in dyskinesia-related oscillatory activity,and that it has potential as a therapeutic target for levodopa-induced dyskinesia.

目的:从“效应-靶标”互作关联视角探讨消肿止痛贴的功效机理。方法:基于中国学术期刊全文数据库(CNKI)和PubMed数据库收集消肿止痛贴组方药材沙蒿子、水蔓菁、薄荷脑中所含的化学成分信息,利用中医药百科全书(ETCM 2.0,http://***/ETCM2/front/#/)收集其透皮吸收特性,筛选Golden Triangle为Accepted的成分预测候选靶标谱预测。利用中医药整合药理学研究平台(TCMIP v2.0),依据化合物结构相似性原理,预测其候选靶标谱。同时,利用SoFDA数据平台收集消肿止痛贴功效相关的症状与其相关基因信息。进一步,利用上述方药候选靶标与其功效相关基因之间的相互作用信息,构建消肿止痛贴的“效应-靶标”互作关联网络,通过计算网络节点拓扑特征值,筛选网络核心靶标,并开展功能挖掘,阐释消肿止痛贴的功效机制。结果:基于ETCM 2.0及TCMIP v2.0数据库共得到165个方药候选靶标,基于SoFDA数据库收集到清热、消肿、止痛功效相关症状及其1744个相关基因。网络构建与分析发现,消肿止痛贴的核心效应靶标主要参与调节机体的“免疫-炎症”平衡、维持物质与能量代谢稳态、血液循环和神经系统功能,与该方清热、消肿、止痛功效紧密关联。其中,消肿止痛贴-清热功效组具有清热解毒、抗菌消炎之功,其核心效应靶标群的生物学功能与矫正病原体诱导机体“免疫-炎症”失衡有关;消肿止痛贴-消肿功效组具有利水消肿、软坚散结之功,其核心效应靶标群的生物学功能与改善微循环障碍有关;消肿止痛贴-止痛功效组具有化瘀解滞、活血止痛之功,其核心效应靶标群与纠正神经系统和物质及能量代谢紊乱有关。结论:消肿止痛贴清热、消肿和止痛的功效可能与其作用于相关候选靶标,从而矫正“神经-免疫-血管轴”失衡,调节神经元兴奋性和炎症反应,干预物质和能量代谢密切相关。相关研究结果为明确消肿止痛贴的优势疗效环节和辅助其临床精准定位奠定理论基础。

Compilation of Village Planning Schemes in the Context of Rapid Structural Change:A Case Study on the Practice of Zhejiang Province

In Zhejiang Province, in a context of villages undergoing rapid structural change in terms of population, employment, and residents' demands, the village planning is featured by being based on more detailed regulations and presented through more diversified planning schemes. It aims at optimizing the urban-rural spatial structure by reshaping the layout of rural settlements, improving the rural industries by enhancing the studies on industrial development, catering to the villagers' needs by exploring effective approaches to the equalization of public services, and promoting the eff iciency of village planning implementation by developing effective measures. Taking the practice of Zhejiang Province as an example, this paper tries to summarize the features of the village planning scheme compilation in the context of rapid structural change and to explore the possible approaches to a coordinated urban and rural development.

Urbanization effects on living organisms are spatially heterogeneous.Here we quantified the abundance of birds per tree in forested urban and rural habitats for 85,829 trees mainly in China and Europe.A population model was based on the assumption that:1)birds have a normally distributed habitat preference;2)an increase in population size linked to the habitat preference;3)a population size dependent on the habitat preference;and 4)the removal of a certain fraction of individuals giving rise to extinction.We tested for large-scale differences in the impact of urbanization on the frequency distribution of the difference in abundance between urban and rural habitats in China and parts of Europe.The difference in the frequency distribution of urban population density of birds in trees minus rural population density of birds in trees in China and Europe was statistically significant suggesting that the abundance of birds differed between trees in urban and rural habitats,but more so in China than in Europe.We hypothesize that more pronounced differences in China than in Europe may have arisen due to the Four Pests Campaign in 1958-1962 that resulted in death of hundreds of millions of birds(mainly tree sparrows Passer monfanus,but also numerous other less common species that were starting to become urbanized around 1960).Species that were less common in 1960 could not sustain reductions in population size in urban areas and hence these species are still rare or absent in urban areas today 60 years later.

近年来,据不完全统计,由病原微生物引起的所有呼吸道疾病中,由病毒导致的急性呼吸道感染约占80%,是目前世界范围内发病率最高的疾病。呼吸道病毒,如严重急性呼吸系统综合征冠状病毒(SARS-CoV)、SARS-CoV-2,甲型流感病毒和呼吸道合胞病毒等,对社会公共卫生安全构成较大威胁,目前,还没有开发出特效药。由于中药具有多组分多靶点的协同作用,在呼吸道病毒疾病的预防、治疗康复和保健方面具有独特的优势,近年来,许多临床医生和研究人员从不同层面对中药治疗呼吸道病毒疾病进行了一系列研究和探索,对中医药的临床疗效和治疗机制有了更清晰的认识。本文通过综述中医药治疗呼吸道病毒疾病的临床疗效研究和作用机制,为中医药更好治疗呼吸道病毒疾病提供有力的证据,以期推动中医药的发展及其在呼吸道病毒疾病方面的潜在应用。

Numerical Simulation of Vacuum Heat Treatment Thermal Hysteresis Time of GH4169 Superalloy Workpiece

A nonlinear finite element model of vacuum heat treatment process was developed. In this model, influence of many factors, such as nonlinear heat radiation, temperature-dependent thermal physical properties of material are considered. The temperature field of GH4169 alloy workpiece during vacuum heat treatment process was calculated using finite element software MSC.Marc, and the thermal hysteresis time of the workpiece was predicted. An experiment of vacuum heat treatment of GH4169 superalloy workpiece was carried out to verify the calculation. The experimental results of temperature profile agree well with the simulated results. This work lays a theoretical foundation for optimizing technical parameter of vacuum heat treatment process.

A statistical analysis of spatiotemporal variations and determinant factors of forest carbon storage under China's Natural Forest Protection Program

The Natural Forest Protection Program(NFPP)is one of the key ecological forestry programs in China.It not only facilitates the improvement of forest ecological quality in NFPP areas,but also plays a significant role in increasing the carbon storage of forest ecosystems.The program covers 17 provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities with correspondingly diverse forest resources and environments,ecological features,engineering measures and forest management regimes,all of which affect regional carbon storage.In this study,volume of timber harvest,tending area,pest-infested forest,firedamaged forest,reforestation,and average annual precipitation,and temperature were evaluated as factors that influence carbon storage.We developed a vector autoregression model for these seven indicators and we studied the dominant factors of carbon storage in the areas covered by NFPP.Timber harvest was the dominant factorinfluencing carbon storage in the Yellow and Yangtze River basins.Reforestation contributed most to carbon storage in the state-owned forest region in Xinjiang.In state-owned forest regions of Heilongjiang and Jilin Provinces,the dominant factors were forest fires and forest cultivation,respectively.For the enhancement of carbon sequestration capacity,a longer rotation period and a smaller timber harvest are recommended for the Yellow and Yangtze River basins.Trees should be planted in stateowned forests in Xinjiang.Forest fires should be prevented in state-owned forests in Heilongjiang,and greater forest tending efforts should be made in the state-owned forests in Jilin.

The influence of land use change on the spatial–temporal variability of habitat quality between 1990 and 2010 in Northeast China

Land use changes are a direct consequence of interactions between humans and nature.Analysing the spatial and temporal changes in habitat quality brought about by land use change can provide a scientific basis for ecological protection and land planning.Based on the analysis of land use change from 1990 to 2010 in Northeast China,we used the InVEST(integrated valuation of ecosystem services and trade-offs)module to evaluate habitat quality based on watershed subdivision.The results show that:(1)the main land use changes from 1990 to 2010 were the transition from grasslands and forest lands to agricultural lands,which led to a decrease in connectivity of landscape and an increase in fragmentation;(2)areas of high habitat quality were distributed north of the Greater Khingan Mountains,the region of the Lesser Khingan Mountains and east of the Changbai Mountains,while the central plain had low habitat quality;(3)agricultural lands had the largest effect on habitat degradation among all habitat threats.During these 2 decades,the contribution of agricultural lands to habitat degradation were 43.4%in 1990,44.6%in 2000 and 43.9%in 2010;and,(4)at a landscape scale,patch density and splitting index present noticeable negative correlations with habitat quality index.Habitat quality was significantly affected by landscape fragmentation and decreased connectivity.
