In this paper,the formation control problem of secondorder nonholonomic mobile robot systems is investigated in a dynamic event-triggered scheme.Event-triggered control protocols combined with persistent excitation(PE)conditions are presented.In event-detecting processes,an inactive time is introduced after each sampling instant,which can ensure a positive minimum sampling interval.To increase the flexibility of the event-triggered scheme,internal dynamic variables are included in event-triggering conditions.Moreover,the dynamic event-triggered scheme plays an important role in increasing the lengths of time intervals between any two consecutive events.In addition,event-triggered control protocols without forward and angular velocities are also presented based on approximate-differentiation(low-pass)filters.The asymptotic convergence results are given based on a nested Matrosov theorem and artificial sampling methods.

A series of novel chitosan-based magnetic flocculants FS@CTS-P(AM-DMC)was prepared by molecular structure control.The characterization results showed that FS@CTS-P(AM-DMC)had a uniform size of about 21.46 nm,featuring a typical core-shell structure,and the average coating layer thickness of CTS-P(AM-DMC)was about 5.03 nm.FS@CTS-P(AM-DMC)exhibited excellent flocculation performance for kaolin suspension,achieved 92.54% turbidity removal efficiency under dosage of 150 mg/L,pH 7.0,even at high turbidity(2000 NTU)with a removal efficiency of 96.96%.The flocculation mechanism was revealed to be dominated by charge neutralization under acidic and neutral conditions,while adsorption and bridging effects play an important role in alkaline environments.The properties of magnetic aggregates during flocculation,breakage,and regeneration were studied at different pH levels and dosages.In the process of magnetophoretic,magnetic particles collide and adsorb with kaolin particles continuously due to magnetic and electrostatic attraction,transform into magnetic chain clusters,and then further form three-dimensional network magnetic aggregates that can capture free kaolin particles and other chain clusters.Particle image velocimetry confirmed the formation of eddy current of magnetic flocs and experienced three stages:acceleration,stabilization,and deceleration.

Magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound(MRgFUS)is a novel and minimally invasive technology.Since the US Food and Drug Administration approved unilateral ventral intermediate nucleus-MRgFUS for medication-refractory essential tremor in 2016,studies on new indications,such as Parkinson’s disease(PD),psychiatric diseases,and brain tumors,have been on the rise,and MRgFUS has become a promising method to treat such neurological diseases.Currently,as the second most common degenerative disease,PD is a research hotspot in the field of MRgFUS.The actions of MRgFUS on the brain range from thermoablation,blood-brain barrier(BBB)opening,to neuromodulation.Intensity is a key determinant of ultrasound actions.Generally,high intensity can be used to precisely thermoablate brain targets,whereas low intensity can be used as molecular therapies to modulate neuronal activity and open the BBB in conjunction with injected microbubbles.Here,we aimed to summarize advances in the application of MRgFUS for the treatment of PD,with a focus on thermal ablation,BBB opening,and neuromodulation,in the hope of informing clinicians of current applications.

In the present survey, various methods for the acoustic design of aeroengine nacelle are first briefly introduced along with the comments on their advantages and disadvantages for practi- cal application, and then detailed analysis and discussion focus on a kind of new method which is called ＂transfer element method＂（TEM） with emphasis on its application in the following three problems： turbomachinery noise generations, sound transmission in ducts and radiation from the inlet and outlet of ducts, as well as the interaction between them. In the theoretical frame of the TEM, the solution of acoustic field in an infinite duct with stator sound source or liner is extended to that in a finite domain with all knows and unknowns on the interface plane, and the relevant acoustic field is solved by setting up matching equation. In addition, based on combining the TEM with the boundary element method （BEM） by establishing the pressure and its derivative con- tinuum conditions on the inlet and outlet surface, the sound radiation from the inlet and outlet of ducts can also be investigated. Finally, the effects of various interactions between the sound source and acoustic treatment have been discussed in this survey. The numerical examples indicate that it is quite important to consider the effect of such interactions on sound attenuation during the acoustic design of aeroengine nacelle.

A kind of radial composite ultrasonic transducer with a conical profile was studied.The transducer is composed of a metal ring with an equal section,an axially polarized piezoelectric ceramic ring and a metal ring with a conical profile and the radial dimension of the transducer is much larger than the height.The metal ring with a conical profile satisfies the equation h=h_(0)r,and h_(0) is a constant.Based on the plane stress radial vibration theory,the electromechanical equivalent circuit of the transducer was derived,the resonance frequency equation and anti-resonance frequency equation were obtained.And then the vibration characteristics of the transducer were studied.The first-order,second-order radial resonance frequencies and anti-resonance frequencies calculated by theory were compared with the numerical simulation results,and the results were consistent.The studies show that the first-order,second-order radial resonance frequencies and anti-resonance frequencies,and effective electromechanical coupling coefficients of the transducer with a conical profile are not only related to the material and radial geometry of each part of the transducer,but also to h_(0).As h_(0) increases,the first-order radial resonance frequencies and anti-resonance frequencies increase,and the effective electromechanical coupling coefficient first increases and then decreases.The transducer with a conical profile radiates sound waves radially outward.Compared with a transducer with an equal profile,the transducer with a conical profile has a larger radiation area,higher radiated sound power,and better directivity.

BACKGROUND:Community-acquired bloodstream infections(CABSIs)are common in the emergency departments,and some progress to sepsis and even lead to death.However,limited information is available regarding the prediction of patients with high risk of death.METHODS:The Emergency Bloodstream Infection Score(EBS)for CABSIs was developed to visualize the output of a logistic regression model and was validated by the area under the curve(AUC).The Mortality in Emergency Department Sepsis(MEDS),Pitt Bacteremia Score(PBS),Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA),quick Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(qSOFA),Charlson Comorbidity Index(CCI),and McCabe–Jackson Comorbid Classification(MJCC)for patients with CABSIs were computed to compare them with EBS in terms of the AUC and decision curve analysis(DCA).The net reclassification improvement(NRI)index and integrated discrimination improvement(IDI)index were compared between the SOFA and EBS.RESULTS:A total of 547 patients with CABSIs were included.The AUC(0.853)of the EBS was larger than those of the MEDS,PBS,SOFA,and qSOFA(all P<0.001).The NRI index of EBS in predicting the in-hospital mortality of CABSIs patients was 0.368(P=0.04),and the IDI index was 0.079(P=0.03).DCA showed that when the threshold probability was<0.1,the net benefit of the EBS model was higher than those of the other models.CONCLUSION:The EBS prognostic models were better than the SOFA,qSOFA,MEDS,and PBS models in predicting the in-hospital mortality of patients with CABSIs.

Tumor vaccines,a type of personalized tumor immunotherapy,have developed rapidly in recent decades.These vaccines evoke tumor antigen-specific T cells to achieve immune recognition and killing of tumor cells.Because the immunogenicity of tumor antigens alone is insufficient,immune adjuvants and nanocarriers are often required to enhance anti-tumor immune responses.At present,vaccine carrier development often integrates nanocarriers and immune adjuvants.Among them,outer membrane vesicles(OMVs)are receiving increasing attention as a delivery platform for tumor vaccines.OMVs are natural nanovesicles derived from Gramnegative bacteria,which have adjuvant function because they contain pathogen associated molecular patterns.Importantly,OMVs can be functionally modified by genetic engineering of bacteria,thus laying a foundation for applications as a delivery platform for tumor nanovaccines.This review summarizes 5 aspects of recent progress in,and future development of,OMV-based tumor nanovaccines:strain selection,heterogeneity,tumor antigen loading,immunogenicity and safety,and mass production of OMVs.

Input ground motions have significant impacts on the uncertainty of structural responses in time-history analysis.In this study,records were selected and scaled for the evaluation of mean structural responses according to the target spectrum.The Newmark-Hall spectrum is closely related to seismic response of short,medium and long-period structures,so it was taken as the target spectrum here.The nonlinear time-history analyses of 9-story and 20-story steel moment-resisting frame structures were carried out as examples.They represent medium and long-period buildings,respectively.Three target spectra with risk of 50%,10%and 2%probabilities for exceedance in 50 years were calculated by the average Newmark-Hall spectrum method for three ground motion sets developed in the SAC Steel Project.The predicted structural mean responses of these Newmark-Hall spectra were compared with those calculated by the average spectral acceleration method for the same record set.It is found that both methods have similar accuracy for estimating the structural mean response.However,the method proposed herein is more effective in reducing the variability of the structural responses.Also,the proposed method is more advantageous for the time-history analysis of long-period structures or structures with more severe nonlinear responses under strong seismic excitations.
