The magnetic properties of highly grain-oriented electrical steel vary along different directions. In order to investigate these properties, standard Epstein samples were cut at different angles to the rolling direction. The hard magnetization direction was found at an angle of 60° to the rolling direction. To compare the measured and fitting curves, when the magnetic field intensity is higher than 7000 A/m, it is appropriate to simulate the relation of magnetic permeability and magnetization angle using the conventional elliptical model. When the magnetic field intensity is less than 3000 A/m, parabolic fitting models should be used; but when the magnetic field intensity is between 3000 and 7000 A/m, hybrid models with high accuracy, as proposed in this paper, should be applied. Piecewise relation models of magnetic permeability and magnetization angle are significant for improving the accuracy of electromagnetic engineering calculations of electrical steel, and these new models could be applied in further industrial applications.

Nowadays, in China, the bottom-blowing technique plays an important role in accelerating the molten bath stirring and promoting the metallurgical reactions in electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking. The innovations of bottom-blowing technologies in EAF steelmaking were reviewed. The optimized bottom-blowing arrangement in EAF based on the furnace structure and the position of electrodes was introduced, and the fluid flow characteristics of EAF molten bath with bottomblowing were analyzed. Furthermore, bottom-blowing CO2 in EAF can facilitate the carbon-oxygen reaction reaching equilibrium and decrease the content of nitrogen in molten steel due to its special metallurgical properties. Pulsating bottom-blowing in EAF can effectively improve the molten bath stirring through the action of the unsteady bottom blowing gas streams, which could make the fluid flow field more disorderly than the steady bottom-blowing. And submerged O2 injection with CO2 in EAF can noticeably strengthen the EAF molten bath stirring, increase the production efficiency and improve the molten steel quality.

A virtual instrument(Ⅵ) was developed to monitor the technological parameters in the process of brush plating, including coating thickness, brush-plating current, current density, deposition rate, and brush plating voltage. Meanwhile two approaches were presented to improve the measurement accuracy of coating thickness. One of them aims at eliminating the random interferences by moving average filtering; while the other manages to calculate the quantity of electricity consumed accurately with rectangular integration. With these two approaches, the coating thickness can be measured in real time with higher accuracy than the voltage-frequency conversion method. During the process of plating all the technological parameters are displayed visually on the front panel of the Ⅵ. Once brush current or current density overruns the limited values, or when the coating thickness reaches the objective value, the virtual will alarm. With this Ⅵ, the solution consumption can be decreased and the operating efficiency is improved.

A functional amphiphile, N^6 -myristoyl-9-[ 8-（ 1-trimethylamino） octyl ] adenine bromide （MTOAB）, was used to form coliposomes of phosphatidyleholine（PC）, PC/thymine, and PC/TOTB using sonication . The morphologies of the coliposomes were characterized using TEM （transmission electron microscopy）. The UV-Vis spectroscopic behavior of PC/MTOAB/thymine （molar ratio = 5： 1： 1 ） and PC/MTOAB/TOTB （molar ratio = 5： 1： 1 ） of coliposomal solutions showed that as a result of base pairing, absorption intensity showed a decrease at 263 nm with increase of time. The decrease of absorption intensity is ascribed to the hypochromic effect, which is because of the formation of hydrogen bonds between adenine and thymine in the coliposomes. The same effect was also observed for the mixture of aqueous PC/MTOAB liposomes and PC/TOTB liposomes after fusion, whereas the nocomplementary coliposomcs formed from PC/MTOAB and PC/TOTB did not show these spectroscopic changes. The molecular recognition through hydrogen interactions between adenine and thymine is very slow because of the possible occurrence of molecular lateral diffusion and exchange of amphiphile before recognition progresses in coliposomes. These results provide useful information for the design of supramolecular devices such as vesicles and liposomes,which can be used to mimic primitive recognition processes observed in biological systems.

In this paper,the ^(90)Sr/^(90)Y coating effects on scattering width(SW) of cylindrical conductor targets are *** electron density distribution of plasma around cylindrical targets of different radiuses is simulated under different radioactivities in normal or oblique *** normal incidence,the SWs are examined as functions of frequency and scattering angle;while in oblique incidence,the SW is inspected as a function of incident angle at the frequency of 1.5 *** results obtained are compared with those from an ideal perfect electric conductor(PEC) *** is demonstrated that the SW decreases over a wide frequency range in the back scattering region by coating a ^(90)Sr/^(90)Y layer on the cylindrical ***,the reduction in bi-static SW amplitude can reach 3-20 dB,when the incident angle is smaller than 30° at 1.5 *** is a significant improvement in the stealth effect.

AIM:To identify the novel methylation-silenced gene pentraxin 3(PTX3) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).METHODS:PTX3 mRNA expression was examined in six human ESCC cell lines,one human immortalized normal esophageal epithelial cell line,primary ESCC tumor tissue,and paired adjacent nontumor tissue using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RTPCR).Semi-quantitative immunohistochemistry was used to examine cellular localisation and protein *** specific PCR and bisulphite genomic sequencing were employed to investigate the methylation of the candidate ***:In the majority of ESCC cell lines,we found that PTX3 expression was down-regulated due to gene promoter hypermethylation,which was further confirmed by bisulphite genomic *** treatment with 5-aza-2'-deoxycytidine restored PTX3 mRNA expression in ESCC cell *** was more common in tumor tissues(85%) than in adjacent nontumor tissues(25%)(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:PTX3 is down-regulated through promoter hypermethylation in ESCC,and could potentially serve as a biomarker of ESCC.
