Dissecting the cell microenvironment of ovarian endometrioma through single-cell RNA sequencing

Ovarian endometrioma（OE）, also known as “chocolate cysts,” is a cystic mass that develops in the ovaries due to endometriosis and is a common gynecological condition characterized by the growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterus, leading to symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, pelvic pain, and infertility. however, the precise molecular and cellular mechanisms driving this pathophysiology remain largely unknown, posing challenges for diagnosis and treatment. here, we employed integrated single-cell transcriptomic profiling of over 52,000 individual cells from endometrial tissues of OE patients and healthy donors and identified twelve major cell populations. We identified notable alterations in cell type-specific proportions and molecular signatures associated with OE. Notably, the activation of iGFBP5+macrophages with pro-inflammatory properties, NK cell exhaustion, and aberrant proliferation of iQCG+and KLF2+epithelium are key features and may be the potential mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of OE. Collectively, our data contribute to a better understanding of OE at the single cell level and may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies.

Correlation between the rock mass properties and maximum horizontal stress:A case study of overcoring stress measurements

Understanding the mechanical properties of the lithologies is crucial to accurately determine the horizontal stress *** investigate the correlation between the rock mass properties and maximum horizontal stress,the three-dimensional(3D)stress tensors at 89 measuring points determined using an improved overcoring tech.ique in nine mines in China were adopted,a newly defined characteristic parameter C_(ERP)was proposed as an indicator for evaluating the structural properties of rock masses,and a fuzzy relation matrix was established using the information distribution *** results indicate that both the vertical stress and horizontal stress exhibit a good linear growth relationship with *** is no remarkable correlation between the elastic modulus,Poisson's ratio and depth,and the distribution of data points is scattered and ***,there is no obvious relationship between the rock quality designation(RQD)and *** maximum horizontal stress σ_(h) is a function of rock properties,showing a certain linear relationship with the C_(ERP)at the same *** addition,the overall change trend of σ_(h) determined by the established fuzzy identification method is to increase with the increase of C_(ERP).The fuzzy identification method also demonstrates a relatively detailed local relationship betweenσ_h and C_(ERP),and the predicted curve rises in a fluctuating way,which.is in accord well with the measured stress data.

Spin-orbit torque （SOT）,as a promising writing method for magnetic random-access memory （MRAM）,has garnered widespread interest for over a decade [1].heavy metals,such as β-W,have been broadly adopted as spin current sources,but suffer from phase change at a limited thickness,resulting in a dramatic reduction of the charge-tospin conversion efficiency θSh[2].The thickness limitation leads to stringent etching conditions and large distribution among devices,posing challenges for simultaneously satisfying SOT efficiency,etching-stop margins,and back-end-ofline （BEOL） compatibility.

Dual-ligand chiral MOFs exhibiting circularly polarized room temperature phosphorescence for anti-counterfeiting

Advanced chiral optical materials exhibiting circularly polarized room-temperature phosphorescence（CPRTP） possess significant research value. This study facilitates the synthesis of chiral metal-organic frameworks（CMOFs） with good CPRTP performance by implementing a dual-ligand strategy. By self-assembling the luminescent ligand h2BiiM with the chiral ligands L-or D-h.iDPA in the presence of Zn（ii） ions, two robust three-dimensional（3D） CMOFs were successfully constructed. These complexes demonstrated intense fluorescence and exhibited prolonged yellow room-temperature phosphorescence（RTP） with a duration of up to 6 s. Notably, they exhibited both circularly polarized fluorescence(glum= ±7.57 × 10-3) and CPRTP(glum=±2.68 × 10-3). These unique properties were effectively utilized in the creation of multi-color anti-counterfeiting patterns,underscoring th.ir promising potential for a wide range of applications.

Macro-mechanics and Microstructure of Nanomaterial-modified Geopolymer Concrete: A Comprehensive Review

We have described in detail the effects of nano-SiO_(2),nano-CaCO_(3),carbon nanotubes,and nano-Al_(2)O_(3) on geopolymer concrete from the perspectives of macro mechanics and *** existing research results show that the mechanism of nano-materials on geopolymer concrete mainly includes the filling effect,nucleation effect,and bridging effect,the appropriate amount of nano-materials can be used as fillers to reduce the porosity of geopolymer concrete,and can also react with Ca(Oh)2 to produce C-S-h gel,thereby improving the mechanical properties of geopolymer *** optimum content of nano-SiO_(2) is between 1.0%and 2.0%.The optimum content of nano-CaCO_(3) is between 2.0%and 3.0%.The optimum content of carbon nanotubes is between 0.1%and 0.2%.The optimum content of nano-Al_(2)O_(3) is between 1.0%and 2.0%.The main problems existing in the research and application of nanomaterial-modified geopolymer concrete are summarized,which lays a foundation for the further application of nanomaterial in geopolymer concrete.

[impact of arsenic exposure on the hepatic metabolic molecular network in obese pregnant mice using metabolomics and proteomics]

Arsenic is a ubiquitous environmental toxin that can affect normal physiological processes. Although the health.impacts of arsenic have been investigated, its influence on hepatic metabolism in obese pregnant women and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Multi-omics analysis, including metabolomics and proteomics, can improve the understanding of arsenic-induced hepatotoxicity in obese pregnant women. This study aimed to investigate the adverse effects of gestational arsenic exposure on hepatic metabolism in high-fat-diet-induced obese pregnant mice. Following arsenic exposure during pregnancy, the liver tissue was evaluated comprehensively using metabolomics and proteomics tech.iques combined with pathological and biochemical analyses. Arsenic exposure not only significantly increased lipid accumulation in the livers of obese pregnant mice but also elevated inflammatory factors and oxidative stress markers. Specifically, histopathological examination revealed more steatosis, inflammatory cell infiltration, and hepatocyte ballooning in the livers of arsenic-exposed mice than in those of controls. These changes indicate that arsenic exposure exacerbates hepatic lipid accumulation and induces liver damage in the context of obesity. Metabolomic analysis provided further insight into the metabolic-level disruption caused by arsenic exposure. Significant changes were observed in lipid metabolism pathways, particularly the arachidonic acid metabolism pathway. As arachidonic acid and its metabolites play important roles in inflammation and oxidative stress, this pathway may be critical in arsenic-induced hepatotoxicity. Additionally, proteomic analysis showed differences in the expression levels of several key proteins involved in lipid synthesis, oxidative stress, and inflammatory response. Can patients with mild non-neoplastic lesions diagnosed at baseline screening be safely exempt from surveillance: evidence from multicenter community-based cohorts

Surveillance recommendations for gastric cancer（GC） in current guidelines focused on advanced precancerous lesions and were based on precise diagnosis of severity/extent of baseline lesions. We aimed to develop a less endoscopy-related equipment-dependent risk-stratification tool, and assessed whether mild-precursor-lesion patients can be safely exempt from surveillance. in the multicenter communitybased cohort, 75,051 participants receiving baseline endoscopy were enrolled during 2015–2017 and followed-up until 2021. Cumulative incidence rates（CiRs） of GC for precancerous-conditions were calculated by Kaplan-Meier method and compared by Log-rank tests. Mixedeffects Cox regression models were used to detect potential factors for progression towards GC. A risk score was calculated as counts of selected factors. An independent cohort, including 26,586 participants was used for external validation. During a median follow-up of 6.25 years, CiRs of GC were 0.302%, 0.436%, and 4.756% for normal group, non-neoplastic（atrophic gastritis/intestinal metaplasia） and neoplastic lesions（low-grade/high-grade dysplasia）, respectively(Ptrendictors, including male, ≥60 years, smoking, and limited vegetable consumption, were selected for risk-stratification. high-risk patients（≥3 risk factors） with non-neoplastic lesions showed higher GC risks（adjusted hR=7.73, 95%Ci: 4.29–13.92）, and th.ir four-year CiR reached the one-year CiR of neoplastic lesions. Further categorizing non-neoplastic lesions by histological grade, both patients with moderate-to-severe lesions（ahR=3.07, 95%Ci: 1.67–5.64） and high-risk patients with mild lesions（ahR=7.29, 95%Ci: 3.58–14.86） showed higher risks. Consistent trends were observed in validation cohort. high-risk mild-precursor-lesion patients should receive surveillance within 3–5 years after baseline screening. Our study provides evidence on supplementing current guideline recommendations.

Stable copper boron–imidazolate cage as Cu-riched enzyme for highly efficient electrocatalytic CO2 reduction to ethylene

Single-atom catalyst has garnered widespread attention to mimic mature enzymes due to its well-defined atomic structure and coordination environments. however, since the carbon–carbon（C–C） coupling reactions require synergistic catalysis of multiple sites, single-atom catalysts suffer from insufficient active sites and unclear reaction mechanisms. Controlling the reaction intermediates in a precisely targeted pocket through careful metal–organic cage design is therefore crucial. here, we prepare a tetrahedral [Cu6L4]-type boron–imidazolate cage integrating highly active Cu sites and optimized cavity, which exhibits enzyme like specific catalytic performance in electrochemical CO2reduction reaction（CO2RR） to enhance the selectivity of *** analyses and computational calculations suggest that the single Cu site together with neighboring boron–imidazolate ligands provides suitably synergistic effects that enable the energetically favorable formation of an *COChO intermediate, a key step determining selectivity. As a result, the [Cu6L4]-type cage of BiC-145 achieves a Faradaic efficiency of 28% for C2h4maintaining an average current density of -3.54 mA cm-2over a 5-hour electrolysis period. This work represents the first example for studying single-metal site catalysts with ultra-low coordination numbers through the rational design of metal–organic cages.
