Vibration response and safety control for blasting vibration of the existing tunnel with defects

Current studies on blasting construction of small clear-distance tunnels have not considered the impact of existing tunnel lining defects when establishing safety *** paper offers a series of study results based on the blasting project of a new tunnel adjacent to the existing defect Xinling tunnel to thoroughly examine the dynamic response,safety control standards,and measures of the existing defect ***,structural models were developed to investigate the influence of the presence or absence of specific defects(like lining cracks and cavities behind the lining)on the dynamic response of the current tunnel lining to identify the most unfavorable defect ***,establish safety control standards for intact linings and those with the most unfavorable ***,two types of control measures,single safe charge and reasonable delay time,were studied based on the established safety control *** particular,the most adverse position of cracks was the wall facing the explosion,the rise in depth was more unfavorable for vibration response,and the impact of the longitudinal crack was restricted to the vicinity of the *** the vault was the most adverse cavity position,the rise in cavity area was more damaging,and the influence range varied with longitudinal cavity ***,the impact of cracks was mainly evident in the amplification effect of stress at the crack *** contrast,cavities had varied degrees of amplification effects on the vibration velocity and stress response and a relatively extensive influence *** control research was conducted,when the tunnel was intact,with a right wall crack,a vault cavity,and both vault cavity and crack for this project,the peak particle velocity(PPV)of the safety control standard for vibration velocity was 13,10,13,and 8 cm/s,respectively,and the respective single safe charge could be adjusted at 64,53,37,and 25 ***,the presence of different defects had a relati

Photo-biocatalysis,the combination of photosensitization and biocatalysis,is an emerging solution for sunlight-based renewable *** is thus important to develop light antennas with both good light har-vesting and efficient electron ***,the intriguing electrical conductivity of dsDNA and its host effect(for nucleic acid dyes to harvest light)were explored simultaneously to develop a dsDNA-based light antenna for *** SYBR Green I(SG)as the example of the nucleic acid dye,the proposed SG-dsDNA system was found to be capable for visible-light-driven reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH)regeneration,and the turnover frequency of which(1.35 min^(-1))exceeded most of the existing photocatalytic *** SG can only be hosted by dsDNA,meanwhile dsDNA can be formed through hybridization between single strand DNA and its complementary strand,the pro-posed system adds an extra control of the photocatalytic activity(DNA base pairing-based switch).When integrating the SG-dsDNA system with NADH-dependent horse liver alcohol dehydrogenase(HLADH),successful synthesis of 2-phenylpropanol(a crucial intermediates of profens manufacturing)was achieved.

BACKGROUND The role of physical activity in diabetes is critical,influencing this disease's development,man-agement,and overall *** China,22.3%of adults do not meet the minimum level of physical activity recommended by the World Health ***,it is imperative to identify the factors that contributing to lack of physical activity must be *** To investigate the relationship among delay discounting,delay aversion,glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c),and various levels of physical activity in Chinese adults diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).METHODS In 2023,400 adults with T2DM were recruited from the People's Hospital of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province.A face-to-face questionnaire was used to gather demographic data and details on physical activity,delay discounting,and delay *** addition,HbA1c levels were measured in all 400 *** primary independent variables considered were delay discounting and delay *** outcome variables included HbA1c levels and different intensity levels of physical activity,including walking,moderate physical activity,and vigorous physical *** linear regression models were utilized to assess the relationship between delay discounting,delay aversion,and HbA1c levels,along with the intensity of different physical activity measured in met-hours per *** After controlling for the sample characteristics,delay discounting was negatively associated with moderate physical activity(β=-2.386,95%CI:-4.370 to-0.401).Meanwhile,delay aversion was negatively associated with the level of moderate physical activity(β=-3.527,95%CI:-5.578 to-1.476)in the multiple linear regression model,with statistically significant *** Elevated delay discounting and increased delay aversion correlated with reduced levels of moderate physical *** suggests that delay discounting and aversion may influence engagement in moderate physical activity.

Three-dimensional stability calculation method for high and large composite slopes formed by mining stope and inner dump in adjacent open pits

Temperature dependence of mechanical properties and damage evolution of hot dry rocks under rapid cooling

Enhanced memristor performance via coupling effect of oxygen vacancy and ferroelectric polarization

As a new type of nonvolatile memory,the resistive memristor has broad application prospects in in-formation storage and neural computing based on its excellent resistive switching(RS)*** present,it is still a great challenge to improve both ferroelectric polarization and leakage current to achieve a high RS on/offratio of ferroelectric ***,epitaxial Pb(Zr_(0.40)Ti_(0.60))O_(3)(PZT)thin films with low content Ca doping were deposited on the Nb:SrTiO_(3)substrate to prepare PCZT/NSTO het-erostructures and their RS behaviors were *** research findings show that compared with pure PZT film,the ferroelectric polarization of 1-mol%-Ca-doped PZT film is slightly improved,while the leak-age current is increased by three orders of ***,the RS on/offratio reaches 2.5×10^(5),about three orders of magnitude higher than pure PZT *** theoretical analysis reveals that the RS behavior of PCZT/NSTO heterostructures is controlled by the PCZT/NSTO interfacial barrier and the space charge-limited current *** results demonstrate that the ferroelectricity and electricity of ferroelectric thin films can be improved simultaneously by doping low-content Ca ions to increase the RS performance,which provides a good reference for the development of high-performance ferroelectric memristor devices.

Macro-fiber composite actuators(MFCAs)suffer from strict restrictions on the utilization of lead-containing precursors due to growing environmental *** address this issue,a novel lead-free MFCA based on potassium sodium niobate piezoceramics has been developed using the dice&fill *** MFCA demonstrates large electric field-induced displacement(31.4μm over-500-1500 V at 0.5 Hz),excellent frequency stability,and a strong linear relationship between the induced displacement and the external voltage ***,unlike lead-based MFCA that requires superposition of a negative dc bias voltage to pursue higher output performance but risks depolarization,lead-free MFCA can achieve larger displacement by superimposing only a positive bias *** device exhibits excellent reliability,maintaining a stable output over 10^(5) electrical ***,a“back-to-back”coupled MFCA has been developed to regulate bidirectional displacement,making it suitable for various practical applications,including active vibration *** approach has resulted in a 90%vibration reduction and provides new insights into the design of MFCAs,further facilitating their application in active vibration control systems.
