Since 1980,both the intensity and duration of summer heatwaves in the middle and high latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere have significantly increased,leading this region to become a critical area for a significant increase in the frequency of intense and long-lived extreme *** found that stronger and more persistent high-pressure systems and lower soil moisture before the events were the main drivers of intense and long-lived extreme heatwaves in western Europe and the middle and high latitudes of North ***,in eastern Europe and Siberia,lower cloud cover before events is also a main driver of this type of extreme heatwave,in addition to the above *** factors are coupled with each other and can change heatwave intensity and duration by influencing surface radiation processes during *** the self-organizing map classification method,we found that 6 weather patterns with increased frequency,intensity,and duration were the main dynamic reasons leading to the increase in intense and long-lived extreme heatwaves after *** addition,the decrease in summer average soil moisture in most areas of the mid-high latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere and the decrease in average cloud cover in eastern Europe and Siberia are found to be the main thermodynamic reasons leading to the increase in these extreme heatwaves.

The Sichuan Basin,located in the western margin of Yangtze Plate,is one of the important oil-gas-bearing basins in china. During the Early Permian-Middle Triassic,the Sichuan Basin experienced regional lithospheric extension and Emeishan basalt activities,both of which influenced the basin development and thermal *** we simulated the thermal effects of lithospheric extension and the Emeishan mantle plume based on different geodynamical *** results indicated that the lithospheric temperature together with the basement heat flow was generally increasing with time due to *** the stretching factor was relatively small,the thinning of lithosphere,and consequently the thermal disturbance,was not great. The lithospheric extension yielded about 20%increase of the basement heat flow,with maximum value of 60-62 mW m in the Early *** plume model shows that the thermal evolution of the inner zone above the plume head was influenced greatly by plume *** the outer zone and its outside area where the Sichuan Basin is located were affected only *** basalts that had erupted in the southwestern basin might disturb the basin temperature significantly,although shortly and ***,the thermal history of the Sichuan basin during the Early Permian-Middle Triassic was controlled by the lithospheric extension,but locally it superimposed thermal effects of basalt activities in its southwestern area.

Since the pioneer wide-angle seismic profile along the Yadong-Gulu rift acquired in 1974 by the ex-institute of Geophysics,chinese academy of sciences(CAS),several research programs aimed to deep geophysics, performed thanks to the participation of chinese national and international institutions,have been developed during last 35 years,including 23 wide-angle seismic profiles with total length of about 6000 *** profiles are unevenly distributed,most of them in eastern Tibet and few profiles in western *** this paper,we make a summarized presentation of all these wide-angle seismic profiles and provide an overall view of the seismic velocity structure of the crust beneath the broad Tibetan plateau, which is the product of the continuous convergence and collision of the Indian and Eurasian plates since about 50 Ma *** patterns of crustal thickness variation related to the tectonic blocks and along suture zones of the region are *** crust thickness is confirmed to be about 70-75 km under southern Tibet,and 60-65 km under northern,northeastern and southeastern *** leading edge of the subducted lithosphere reaches the northern margin of the plateau and directly contacts with Tarim *** of the 90°E boundary,the Indian crust is moving towards the northern edge of the plateau and collides with Tarim Basin at 80°E while reach the Bangong-Nujiang suture belt at 88°E;eastward of the 90°E boundary,the northern edge of the crust should be at 50-100 km south of Bangong-Nujiang *** results supply helpful constrains to understand the mechanism of the continent-continent collision and its consequences in the plateau and neighbouring areas.

1 引言在气候分析中常常借助自然正交展开方法分析气象要素的时空分布特征,而对于海洋研究,由于过去观测手段的限制,很难获得较长时间序列和较大空间系列的观测资料,因此像气候分析中常用的经验正交函数(EOF)方法在海洋要素的分析中较少使用.卫星遥感技术的发展为海洋学研究提供了丰富的空间分布均一、时间序列较长的观测资料.本文根据TOPEX/Poseidon(T/P)卫星高度计获得的海面风、浪信息,利用气候分析中常用的EOF分析方法,分析了南海海面风、浪场的时空模态特征.这一分析结果可以很好地反映南海海面风、浪场间的关系,从而为海浪场的经验预报和分析提供参考.

There are large-areas of late Yanshanian granites in the Dabie Orogen, but the formation mode of the relevant granitic magma is still under discussion. Taking the typical Yanshanian granites in the North Dabie Block - The TG and JG as examples, the Writers endeavor to discuss contain aspects of the formation mode of the granitic magma by studying the characteristics of the chemical compositions of biotite and amphibole of the granites and petrological features of enclaves in the intrusions, in the light of recent results of experimental petrology on dehydration melting and aquifer melting. It is suggested that: (1) Some biotites in the Tiantangzhai and the JGs and their enclaves were residual minerals; (2) Some of the amphiboles could be new-born minerals, and others, residual ones. (3) the banded bodies in granites were residuals of anatexis. (4) The TG and JG were formed by aquifer melting, and the south Dabie Block could be the important source region of water.

Ozone(O_(3))pollution has a profound impact on human health,vegetation development,and the ecological environment,making it a critical focus of global academic *** recent years,O_(3)pollution in china has been on a steady rise,with ozone emerging as the sole conventional pollutant to consistently increase in concentration without any *** study conducted a quantitative analysis of O_(3)concentrations across 367 chinese cities in 2019,examining spatial autocorrelation and local clustering of O_(3)levels,and investigated the diverse relationships between human activity factors and O_(3)*** seasonal fluctuation of O_(3)exhibited the“M-type”pattern,with peak concentrations in winter and the lowest levels in *** center of O_(3)pollution migrated southeastward,with the area of highest concentration progressively shifting south along the eastern ***,O_(3)concentration showed a strong positive correlation with population density,road freight volume,and industrial emissions,suggesting that human activities,vehicle emissions,and industrial operations are significant contributors to O_(3)*** results provide comprehensive information on the characteristics,causes,and occurrence mechanism of O_(3)in chinese cities that can be utilized by global government departments to formulate strategies to prevent and control O_(3)pollution.

Mantle plume or superplume activities have often been invoked as a cause for the breakup of the Neoproterozoic supercontinent ***,associated Neoproterozoic continental flood basalts,a requisite product of mantle plume activities,have rarely been *** sensitive high-resolution ion microprobe(SHRIMP) U-Pb zircon ages,geochemical,and Hf-Nd isotopic data are reported here for the Bikou Group basalts,the largest Neoproterozoic volcanic units in the northwestern Yangtze block, south *** Bikou basalts are mainly tholeiitic in composition,and they can be stratigraphically subdivided into the lower and upper *** U-Pb zircon dating of intercalated rhyolites indicates that the lower and upper group basalts were erupted at 821±7 Ma and 811±12 Ma,respectively. The two basalt groups define two populations on most elemental and isotopic diagrams. The lower group basalts display strong subcontinental lithospheric mantle affinities and large variableεNd(t)) andεHf(t)) values that correlate negatively with Th/Ta and positively with *** upper group basalts,on the other hand,show ocean-island basalt(OIB) affinities and highly positiveεHf(t)) andεNd(t)) values. Numerical modeling indicates that the lower and upper group basalts were formed at melting temperatures of>1350℃and>1450℃and mantle potential temperatures of 1400- 1488℃and 1550±30℃,***, the upper group basalts were derived from an anomalously hot asthenosphere mantle,～160℃hotter than the contemporary ambient mid-ocean-ridge basalt(MORB) source *** results are at clear variance with the alternative tectonic model that the Bikou basalts were part of a continental magmatic *** work suggests that the Bikou basalts are likely the remnants of Neoproterozoic continental flood basalts that formed in response to a mantle plume starting ca.825 Ma during the breakup of the supercontinent Rodinia.

＜正＞In this study,diurnal variations of precipitation and related mechanisms over the south china Sea（SCS）are studied using the TRMM *** have found that: 1)The precipitation over the SCS has large diurnal variations with considerable regional features and seasonal *** variations are significant all the year around over the southern of the *** the middle to northern of the SCS,however,diurnal variations are significant only in summer and *** the northern of the SCS precipitation peaks in early morning,while over the southern of the SCS it has two diumal peaks:one in the early morning and another in the late afternoon. 2)The diurnal variations of precipitation over the SCS are related to the activity of the SCS summer monsoon and the ENSO *** diurnal variations of precipitation over the SCS become much more *** addition,after the onset of the SCS summer monsoon,the late afternoon precipitation increases remarkably over the northern of the ***,it is interesting to note that the early morning rainfalls are much more significant during La Nina years than those during El Nino years. 3)The land-sea breezeis responsible forthe diurnal cycle over the Kalimantan Island and its offshore area while the"static radiation-convection" mechanisms may result in the early morning rainfall peak over the SCS.
