Lens-free on-chip microscopy with RGB LEDs(LFOCM-RGB)provides a portable,cost-effective,and high-throughput imaging tool for resource-limited ***,the weak coherence of LEDs limits the high-resolution imaging,and the luminous surfaces of the LED chips on the RGB LED do not overlap,making the coherence-enhanced executions tend to undermine the portable and cost-effective ***,we propose a specially designed pinhole array to enhance coherence in a portable and cost-effective *** modulates the three-color beams from the RGB LED separately so that the three-color beams effectively overlap on the sample plane while reducing the effective light-emitting area for better spatial *** separate modulation of the spatial coherence allows the temporal coherence to be modulated separately by single spectral filters rather than by expensive triple spectral *** on the pinhole array,the LFOCM-RGB simply and effectively realizes the high-resolution imaging in a portable and cost-effective implementation,offering much flexibility for various applications in resource-limited environments.

Computed tomography radiogenomics:A potential tool for prediction of molecular subtypes in gastric stromal tumor

BACKGROUND Preoperative knowledge of mutational status of gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs)is essential to guide the individualized precision *** To develop a combined model that integrates clinical and contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CE-CT)features to predict gastric GISTs with specific genetic mutations,namely KIT exon 11 mutations or KIT exon 11 codons 557-558 *** A total of 2.1 GIST patients with definitive genetic phenotypes were divided into a training dataset and a validation dataset in a 7:3 *** models were constructed using selected clinical features,conventional CT features,and radiomics features extracted from abdominal CE-CT *** models were developed:ModelCT sign,modelCT sign+rad,and model CTsign+rad+*** diagnostic performance of these models was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis and the Delong *** The ROC analyses revealed that in the training cohort,the area under the curve(AUC)values for model_(CT sign),model_(CT sign+rad),and modelCT_(sign+rad+clinic)for predicting KIT exon 11 mutation were 0.743,0.818,and 0.915,*** the validation cohort,the AUC values for the same models were 0.670,0.781,and 0.811,*** predicting KIT exon 11 codons 557-558 deletions,the AUC values in the training cohort were 0.667,0.842.and 0.72. for model_(CT sign),model_(CT sign+rad),and modelCT_(sign+rad+clinic),*** the validation cohort,the AUC values for the same models were 0.610,0.782.and 0.795,*** on the decision curve analysis,it was determined that the model_(CT sign+rad+clinic)had clinical significance and *** Our findings demonstrate that the combined modelCT_(sign+rad+clinic)effectively distinguishes GISTs with KIT exon 11 mutation and KIT exon 11 codons 557-558 *** combined model has the potential to be valuable in assessing the genotype of GISTs.

To establish a rapid and reliable method for the determination of sulfur amino acids in garlic,four sulfur-containing amino acids （alliin,methiin,propiin and deoxyalliin） were synthesized and reacted with toluene sulfonyl chloride to produce their crystal derivatives,which were purified by recrystallization and used as *** sulfur amino acids in garlic were derivatized in a like manner and detected by HPLC,based on detection of the crystal tosyl derivatives of the sulfur amino acids at 2.4 nm.A 50 mM pH 6.5 phosphate buffer solution （A） + acetonitrile （B） was selected as the mobile phase for gradient elution in a Diamonsil C 18 column （2.0 mm × 4.6 mm,φ5 μm） with a flow rate of 1.0 mL min-1 .Results shows that coefficient correlations between the standard contents and the detected peak areas of the four analytes are more than 0.999,and overall recoveries were 93.8-101.9%,with relative standard deviations ranging from 0.9% to 2.3%.The method offers some advantages over the currently accepted techniques,including precision,speed,sample stability and ease of ***,this newly established method will be useful in organic sulfur amino acids determinations in plants of the genus Allium.

Encouraging and astonishing developments have recently been achieved in image-based diagnostic *** medical care and imaging technology are becoming increasingly ***,the current diagnosis pattern of signal to image to knowledge inevitably leads to information distortion and noise introduction in the procedure of image reconstruction(from signal to image).Artificial intelligence(AI)technologies that can mine knowledge from vast amounts of data offer opportunities to disrupt established *** this prospective study,for the first time,we develop an AI-based signal-toknowledge diagnostic scheme for lung nodule classification directly from the computed tomography(CT)raw data(the signal).We find that the raw data achieves almost comparable performance with CT,indicating that it is possible to diagnose diseases without reconstructing ***,the incorporation of raw data through three common convolutional network structures greatly improves the performance of the CT models in all cohorts(with a gain ranging from 0.01 to 0.12.,demonstrating that raw data contains diagnostic information that CT does not *** results break new ground and demonstrate the potential for direct signal-to-knowledge domain analysis.

This review addresses the growing disparity between the current state of fertilizer production in china and the evolving demands of green agriculture in the 2.st century. It explores major advances in fertilizers, proposes the concept of green intelligent fertilizers and develops new strategies aligned with the principles of green development in fertilizer industry and *** intelligent fertilizers may be designed to maximize the synergistic effects among plants, soils, microorganisms, nutrient sources and the environment. This concept emphasizes the integration of industry and agriculture toward green development for entire industry chain, using an interdisciplinary approach to drive the green transformation of fertilizer industry, and promote green and sustainable development of agriculture. By bridging the gap between the current state of fertilizer industry and a growing need for environmentally responsible agricultural practices, this review highlights a path toward harmonizing fertilizer production with the imperatives of green agriculture.

Sleep deprivation(SD)is a widespread issue that disrupts the lives of millions of *** effects ini-tiate as changes within neurons,specifically at the DNA and RNA level,leading to disruptions in neuronal plasticity and the dysregulation of various cognitive functions,such as learning and *** acid epigenetic modifications that could regulate gene expression have been reported to play crucial roles in this ***,there is a lack of comprehensive research on the correlation of SD with nucleic acid epigenetic *** the current study,we aimed to systematically investigate the landscape of modifications in DNA as well as in small RNA molecules across multiple tissues,including the heart,liver,kidney,lung,hippocampus,and spleen,in response to chronic sleep deprivation(CSD).Using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)analysis,we characterized the dynamic changes in DNA and RNA modification profiles in different tissues of mice under CSD ***,we ob-served a significant decrease in the level of 5-methylcytosine(5mC)and a significant increase in the level of 5-hydroxymethylcytosine(5hmC)in the kidney in CSD *** RNA modifications,we observed an overall increased trend for most of these significantly changed modifications across six tis-sues in CSD *** study sheds light on the significance of DNA and RNA modifications as crucial epigenetic markers in the context of CSD-induced stress.

Decreased levels of phosphorylated synuclein in plasma are correlated with poststroke cognitive impairment

Gastric cardia adenocarcinoma (GCA) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) present significant health challenges in china,often diagnosed at advanced stages with poor ***,effective biomarkers for early detection remain *** study aimed to integrate methylome and transcriptome data to identify DNA methylation markers for the early detection of GCA and *** the discovery stage,we conducted Infinium MethylationEPIC array analysis on 36 paired GCA and non-tumor adjacent tissues (NAT),identifying differentially methylated CpG sites (DMCs) between GCA/ESCC and NAT through combined analyses of in-house and publicly available *** the validation stage,targeted pyrosequencing and quantitative real-time RT-PCR were performed on paired tumor and NAT samples from 50GCA and 50 ESCC *** the application stage,an independent set of 438 samples,including GCA,ESCC,high-and low-grade dysplasia(HGD/LGD),and normal controls,was tested for selected DMCs using *** analysis validated three GCA-specific,two ESCC-specific,and one tumor-shared DMCs,exhibiting significant hypermethylation and decreased expression of target genes in tumor samples compared with *** these DMCs,we developed a GCA-specific 4-marker panel (cg2.2.442.,cg11798358,cg07880787,and cg00585116) with an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) of 0.917,effectively distinguishing between cardia HGD/GCA patients and cardia LGD/normal ***,an ESCC-specific 3-marker panel (cg14633892.cg04415798,and cg00585116)achieved an AUC of 0.865 in distinguishing esophageal HGD/ESCC ***,integrating cg00585116,age,and alcohol consumption yielded a tumor-shared logistic model with good discrimination for two cancer/HGD (AUC,0.767;95%confidence interval,0.72.–0.813).The mean AUC of the model after 5-fold cross-validation was *** summary,our study identifies novel DNA methylation markers capable of accurately distinguishing
