Molecular self-assembly is a natured-inspired strategy to integrate individual functional molecules into supramolecular nanostructured materials through noncovalent bond interactions for solar to fuel ***,the design and engineering of the morphology,size,and orderly stacking of supramolecular nanostructures remain a great *** this study,regular porphyrin nanocrystals with different orderly stacked structures are synthesized through noncovalent self-assembly of Pt(II)meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphine(PtTCPP),using surfactants with different *** synergy of noncovalent bond interactions between porphyrin molecules,and between porphyrin molecules and surfactants resulted in different molecular packing *** to the spatial ordering of PtTCPP molecules,the different nanocrystals exhibit both collective optical properties and morphology-dependent activities in photocatalytic hydrogen *** measurements of the photodeposition of dual cocatalysts showed that the photogenerated electrons and holes selectively aggregated at different active sites,revealing separation pathways and directional transfer of photogenerated electrons and holes in the *** study provides a new strategy to exert rational control over porphyrin self-assembly nanocrystals for highly efficient water splitting.

The use of functional nanoparticles as peroxidase-like(POD-like)catalyst has recently become a focus of research in cancer *** is a macrocyclic conjugated metal ligand,which is expected to achieve a high POD-like catalytic activity,generating free radicals and inhibiting the proliferation of cancer *** this paper,we synthesized phthalocyanine nanocrystals with different structures through noncovalent self-assembly confined within micro-emulsion droplets,and manganese phthalocyanine(MnPc)possessing a metal–N–C active center was used as the building *** nano-assemblies exhibit shape-dependent POD-like catalytic activities,because the emulsifier and MnPc co-mixed assembly reduced the close packing between MnPc molecules and exposed more active *** assembly had a water-dispersed nanostructure,which is conducive to accumulation at tumor sites through the enhanced permeability and retention effect(EPR).Because of a highly efficient microenvironmental response,the assembly showed higher catalytic activity only emerged under the acidic tumor-like microenvironment,but caused less damage to normal tissues in biomedical *** vivo and in vitro catalytic therapy tests showed excellent anti-tumor *** work explored a new way for the application of metal–organic macromolecules such as MnPc as nanozymes for catalytic tumor therapy.

Acute myeloid leukemia(AML)and acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL)are distinct subtypes of acute leukemia with respect to clinical and genetic ***,ALLs were reported to share similar genes like IDH1 mutations to AMLs.1 Specifically,mutated IDH1(5%-15%)frequently occurs in AML and scarcely(1.9%)in ALL.1 Notably,IDH1 along with SRSF2mutation often exists in secondaryAMLpatients and confers a poor ***,venetoclax(VEN)has been demonstrated extremely effective in combination with a hypomethylating agent or chemotherapy for IDH1 mutated AML ***,whether VEN combining chemotherapy is effective among ALL patients with similar genetic features to AML remains ***,we successfully rescued a relapsed ALL case with IDH1 mutation by VEN plus methotrexate and pegaspargase based on their antimetabolic pathways.

The Coronavirus disease is the contagious disease. Clinical manifests vary from no symptoms, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, and even severe acute respiratory distress syndrome and multiple organs failure. Recently, three of new beta-coronaviruses have emerged to cause serious and widespread illness and death, such as the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronaviruses (SARS-CoV), Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronaviruses (MERS-CoV), and 2019-nCoV (the causative pathogen of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The COVID-19 is continuing to spread globally. However, the detailed molecular mechanisms have not yet been fully clarified. Since the similarity of the pathological features among 2019-nCoV, SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV, we could speculate the biological features of current COVID-19 by researching those of MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV. Therefore, we analyzed expression levels of miRNA and mRNA profiles of MERS-CoV, SARS-CoV and 2019-nCoV from five public GEO datasets (Table S1). As a result, we found 16 miRNAs potentially target a group of hub genes clustering together to tune the immune response. Notably, viral RNAs have the ability to sponge miR-500a-5p and miR-501-5p, indicating viral RNAs sequestering these two miRNAs to trigger genes expression and contribute to pathogenesis. We hope this study will pave the way to better understand 2019-nCoV pathogenesis and develop the innovative therapeutics.

Chemodynamic therapy(CDT)offers a promising alternative to conventional cancer ***,the limited acidity and H_(2)O_(2) concentration in tumor microenvironment(TME)severely impair the anticancer effects of *** this study,we report a microemulsion-assisted coassembly method to prepare iron(III)tetraphenylporphyrin(FeTPP)and magnetic(Fe_(3)O_(4))nanocomposite material(FeTPP@Fe_(3)O_(4)),using photoactive FeTPP and Fe_(3)O_(4) nanocrystals as building *** selfassembling nature of FeTPP results in disordered aggregation and fluorescence quenching,leading to a high light-to-heat conversion ***,the photo-thermal effect enhances the catalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))in the Fenton reaction on Fe_(3)O_(4) nanocrystals to generate highly toxic hydroxyl radicals(·OH)to destroy cancer *** cascade reaction produces a synergistic therapeutic effect between CDT and photothermal therapy(PTT),which significantly amplifies the therapeutic effect and enhances the treatment outcome of cancer *** highly efficient tumor catalytic therapy in vivo results confirmed that this nanomedicine treatment is an excellent biocompatible catalytic nanomedicine therapy achieved through a photo-enhanced Fenton reaction activity approach.

For the teacher’s professional development,identity plays a crucial role in promoting the teacher’s maturity and *** pre-service teachers,the level of identity determines whether they are willing or even determined to take teaching as their future career,and also represents whether their professional development is ***,the research on pre-service teachers’identity is of great *** quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,this study aims to explore whether the identity of pre-service English teachers changes before and after the practicum and the influencing factors during the practicum through questionnaire surveys and semi-structured *** on the four dimensions of identity proposed by Xun,Sun,and Peng(2014),this study investigated the juniors before their practice and the seniors who had practiced for two *** is found that the scores of careers belonging,foreign language teaching belief,English proficiency,work involvement,professional behaviour tendency,and foreign language teaching reform are higher than those of the students before the *** semi-structured interviews,it can be concluded that the factors affecting identity include personal factors,mentor factors,job content,and organizational support *** to the survey results,this study puts forward corresponding suggestions to improve the positive impact of practicum on students’identity.

Clinical characteristics and prognostic values of 1p32.3 deletion detected through fluorescence in situ hybridization in patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma: a single-center study in China

This study aimed to investigate the prevalence,clinical characteristics,and prognostic impact of 1p32.3 deletion in patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (MM).A retrospective analysis was conducted on 411 patients with newly diagnosed MM;among which,270 received bortezomib-based therapies,and 141 received thalidomide-based *** in situ hybridization (FISH) was performed to detect six cytogenetic abnormalities,namely,del(1p32.3),gain(1q21),del(17p13),del(13q14),t(4;14),and t(11;14).Results showed that 8.3% of patients with MM were detected with del(1p32.3) and had significantly more bone marrow plasma cells (P =0.025),higher β2-microglobulin levels (P =0.036),and higher lactate dehydrogenase levels (P =0.042) than those without del(1p32.3).Univariate analysis showed that patients with del(1p32.3) under thalidomide-based therapies were strongly associated with short progression-free survival (PFS) (median PFS 11.6 vs.31.2 months,P =0.002) and overall survival (OS) (median OS 16.8 vs.45.9 months,P < 0.001).Multivariate analysis revealed that del(1p32.3) remained a powerful independent factor with worse PFS (P =0.006) and OS (P =0.016) for patients under thalidomide-based *** with del(1 p32.3) under bortezomib-based treatments tended to have short PFS and *** conclusion,del(1p32.3) is associated with short PFS and OS in patients with MM who received thalidomide-or bortezomib-based treatments.
