N_(2)photofixation promoted by in situ photoinduced dynamic iodine vacancies at step edge in Bi_(5)O_(7)I nanotubes

Heterogeneous photosynthesis is a promising route for sustainable ammonia production,which can utilize renewable energy and water as the hydrogen source under ambient *** this study,a series of Bi_(5)O_(7)I(BOI)nanosheets and nanotubes are synthesized,the surface tensile strain is formed by curling the nanosheets into nanotubes to tune the concentration and location of dynamic *** transmission electron microscopy(STEM)with spherical aberration correction confirms the presence of intrinsic areal defects on the surface of the BOI nanotube resulted from surface tensile *** presence of areal defects lowers the formation energy of I vacancies(IV)at step edge site,thus the IV with higher concentration would be favorably generated under visible *** scan in situ Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)analysis in the aqueous media reveals that the IV promotes photocatalytic N_(2) activation and reduction,proceeds through an associative alternating ***,after turning off the light,the surface vacancy sites can be reoccupied by I−ions,which enables the protection and regeneration of photocatalyst surface in an aerobic and dark *** work provides an innovative strategy to tune concentration and location of dynamic surface vacancies on photocatalysts by building surface tensile strain for advancing sustainable ammonia production.

Microstructure Selection in Ton Class Ingot of Al₁₇Cr₁₀Fe₃₃Ni₃₆Mo₂Ti₂ Eutectic High Entropy Alloy

The eutectic high entropy alloys have attracted extensive attention and are considered one of the most promising new metal materials. The microstructures of large eutectic high entropy alloy ingot with excellent casting performance have been rarely reported. In this study, we have prepared a ton class eutectic high entropy alloy ingot via vacuum induction melting for the first time. The evolution of microstructure and macro-segregation from the edge region to the core of the ingot were also revealed. It was found that there was no significant macro-segregation in ton class eutectic high entropy alloy ingot, and chemical elements were distributed uniformly. The coupled growth of the primary phases and eutectic colonies were homogeneously distributed in the ingot, and there is no traditional columnar grain region from the edge region of the ingot to the core. The tensile strength of the sample in the R/2 region of the ton class ingot with elongation greater than 10% is 892.3 MPa, showing an excellent comprehensive mechanical property. This study exhibits an important guidance for the industrial application of large eutectic high entropy alloy casting ingot.

With the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) system autonomy, network communication technology and group intelligence theory, mission execution in the form of a UAV swarm will be an important realization of future applications. Traditional single-UAV mission reliability modeling methods have been unable to meet the requirements of UAV swarm mission reliability modeling. Therefore, the UAV swarm mission reliability modeling and evaluation method is proposed. First, aimed at the interdependence among the multiple layers, a multi-layer network model of a UAV swarm is established. At the same time, based on the system having the following characteristics—using a mission chain to complete the mission and applying the connectivity of the mission network—the mission network model of a UAV swarm is established. Second, vulnerability and connectivity are selected as two indicators to reflect the reliability of the mission, and aimed at random attack and deliberate attack, vulnerability and connectivity evaluation methods are proposed. Finally, the validity and accuracy of the constructed model are verified through simulations,and the model and selected indicators can meet the reliability requirements of the UAV swarm mission. In this way, this study provides quantitative reference for UAV-swarm-related decisionmaking work and supports the development of UAV-swarm-related work.

Endless recrystallization of high-entropy alloys at high temperature

In traditional physical metallurgy,once recrystallization occurs,it will proceed to 100%along with time even at relatively low temperatures,resulting in the limited thermal stability of partially recrystallized ***,we proposed the strategy of achieving the endless recrystallization state at high temperature(~0.6T_(m))in high entropy alloys for the first *** partially recrystallized microstructures remained stable after annealing at 700℃ for 1440 h toward endless recrystallization with kinetics *** from the ultra-thermostable heterostructures,the alloy exhibited excellent mechanical properties of~1.6 GPa tensile strength at room temperature and~1.1 GPa tensile strength at 600°C even after exposure at 700℃ for 720 *** kinetics of recovery,recrystallization,grain growth,and precipitate coarsening were quantitatively analyzed to uncover the mechanisms of endless *** results revealed that the stable state of 50%recrystallization at 700℃ can be attributed to the precipitates inhibited recrystallization and the continued recovery decreased stored energy in the non-recrystallized ***,the grain size was stable in the recrystallized regions due to the strong pinning effect of the intergranular precipitates with slow coarsening *** findings created a brand-new state of endless recrystallization with the combination of recovery and recrystallization,which can significantly broaden the service temperature range of heterogeneous materials.

Model of Diffusion of Sulfur in Soda-lime-silicate Glass:An Experimental and Comparative Study

The diffusion property of sulfur on the soda-lime-silicate float glass surface was studied by using secondary ion mass spectroscopy（SIMS）.According to the Fick＇s Second Law,two models of diffusion of sulfur on the glass surface were *** the diffusion of sulfate（S^6＋） is considered uniquely,the concentration-depth profile of sulfur can not be fitted very well,especially on the top surfaces of the air side and tin side of float *** the diffusion of sulfide（S^2-） on the profile of sulfur can not be *** concentration-depth profile of sulfur on both sides of glass can be fitted more exactly when both S^6＋ and S^2- are *** on the above-mentioned fitting results,it is concluded that the diffusion coefficents of S^6＋ and S^2- of tin side are larger than those of the air ***,the diffusion coefficents are related to the contacted medium.

Thermal Stress Behavior of Diffusion-bonded SiC/6061Al Laminates during Thermal Cycling

In addition to the study of thermal stress behavior, the stress relaxation at elevated temperature (205 degree C) was also investigated by means of X-ray diffraction. It was found that the elastic and elastoplastic deformation in the 6061 Al layer takes place during thermal cycling, and the same closed stress temperature loop is formed in the second cycling for the aged and low temperature treated specimen. Meanwhile, it was demonstrated that the compressive stress relaxed in 6061 Al layer at 205 degree C within the range of 0.5-16 h, and which is nearly unchanged with further prolongation of time. Improving high-temperature wear resistance of NiCr matrix self-lubricating composites by controlling oxidation and surface texturing

Self-lubricating composites(SLCs)are widely used in the fields of aerospace and marine,but the conventional NiCr matrix SLCs with sulfide as solid lubricant often suffer from low wear resistance at high *** view of its high affinity with oxygen and also the high oxidation rate,appropriate amount of nano Ti was added to NiCr-WS_(2)composites prepared by spark plasma sintering(SPS)to adjust the oxidation behavior and surface *** exposed to high temperature,Ti was preferentially oxidized in comparison to Ni and Cr,resulting in abundant TiO_(2)protrusions and microdimples on the surface,*** situ surface ***,TiO_(2)was of high chemical activity and readily to react with other oxide debris during high temperature sliding process to form compounds of NiTiO_(3)and CrTi_(2)O_(5).The high chemical activity of oxide debris that was conducive to sintering,combining with the special surface texture that stores as many wear debris as possible,promoted the rapid formation of a protective glaze layer on the sliding *** NiCr-WS_(2)-Ti composite exhibited low friction coefficient but high wear resistance at elevated *** at 800℃,it presented a wear rate of as low as(2.1±0.3)×10^(-5)mm^3N-1m^(-1),accounting for only 2.7%of that of NiCr-WS_(2)composite.

Magnetic Field-Based Reward Shaping for Goal-Conditioned Reinforcement Learning

Goal-conditioned reinforcement learning(RL)is an interesting extension of the traditional RL framework,where the dynamic environment and reward sparsity can cause conventional learning algorithms to *** shaping is a practical approach to improving sample efficiency by embedding human domain knowledge into the learning *** reward shaping methods for goal-conditioned RL are typically built on distance metrics with a linear and isotropic distribution,which may fail to provide sufficient information about the ever-changing environment with high *** paper proposes a novel magnetic field-based reward shaping(MFRS)method for goal-conditioned RL tasks with dynamic target and *** by the physical properties of magnets,we consider the target and obstacles as permanent magnets and establish the reward function according to the intensity values of the magnetic field generated by these *** nonlinear and anisotropic distribution of the magnetic field intensity can provide more accessible and conducive information about the optimization landscape,thus introducing a more sophisticated magnetic reward compared to the distance-based ***,we transform our magnetic reward to the form of potential-based reward shaping by learning a secondary potential function concurrently to ensure the optimal policy invariance of our *** results in both simulated and real-world robotic manipulation tasks demonstrate that MFRS outperforms relevant existing methods and effectively improves the sample efficiency of RL algorithms in goal-conditioned tasks with various dynamics of the target and obstacles.

Immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)has emerged as a promising immunotherapeutic modality against cancer in the ***,only 10-30%of patients respond to ICB,primarily due to poor immunogenicity and insufficient T cell infiltration in solid ***,we presented an approach for high-performance cancer treatment using the programmed cell death protein-1 and programmed cell death ligand-1(PD-1/PD-L1)inhibitor(BMS-202)-loaded PEGylated graphene oxide(GPi).On the one hand,GPi dissociated tight junctions of vascular endothelial cells(VECs)in tumor,thus promoting the extravasation and intratumoral accumulation of liposomal doxorubicin(LipDox),which then effectively induced immunogenic cell death of tumor *** the other hand,GPi also stimulated VECs to upregulate the expression of cell-cell interaction molecules,such as intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1,which facilitated the infiltration of T cells in *** acting as a stimulator of VECs,GPi could exert responsive release of BMS-202 under the acidic tumor microenvironment and blockade PD-1/PD-L1 axis in ***,the alternating administration of GPi and LipDox effectively inhibited tumor growth in a 4T1 tumor model,providing a novel treatment mode for chemo-immunotherapy.

Fiber swelling to improve cycle performance of paper-based separator for lithium-ion batteries application

It is well established that paper-based separators display short-circuit risk in lithium-ion batteries due to their intrinsic micron-sized *** this research,we have adjusted pore structure of paper by fiber swelling in liquid ***,the paper-based separator is prepared by propionylated sisal fibers through a wet papermaking *** electron microscope(SEM)and multi-range X-ray nano-computed tomography(CT)images display strong swelling of modified fibers after electrolyte absorption,which can effectively decrease the pore size of *** to the high electrolyte uptake(817 wt%),paper-based separator exhibits ionic conductivity of 2.93 mS cm^(-1).^(7)Li solid-state NMR spectroscopy and Gaussian simulation reveal that the formation of local high Li^(+)ion concentration in the separator and its low absorption energy with Li^(+) ion(62.2 kcal mol^(-1))is conducive to the ionic *** particular,the assembled Li/separator/LiFePO_(4) cell displays wide electrochemical stability window(5.2 V)and excellent cycle performance(capacity retention of 96.6%after 100 cycles at 0.5C)due to the reduced side reactions as well as enhanced electrolyte absorption and retention capacity by *** proposed strategy will provide a novel perspective to design high-performance biobased separators to boost the development of clean and sustainable energy economy.
