Impact of Hinterland Manufacturing on the Development of Container Ports: Evidence from the Pearl River Delta, China

Container ports and hinterland manufacturing are two important forces of the local participation in economic *** study,taking the Pearl River Delta(PRD),China with an export-oriented economy as an example,applies Huff and panel regres-sion models to evaluate the impact of hinterland manufacturing on the development of container ports during the period of 1993–*** results show that 1)the spatial patterns of hinterlands for hub ports help to determine the distribution range and scale of economic variables that affect port throughput;2)the hinterland’s gross manufacturing output has universally positive influence on port through-put,wherein export-oriented processing and the entire manufacturing industry have significantly positive impact on port throughput in 1993–2011 and 2001–2019,respectively;3)the two internal structural factors related to an export-oriented economy,labor-intensive sectors and foreign-funded terminals,have positively moderate the direct influence of hinterland manufacturing on port *** results highlight the importance of local context in understanding port-manufacturing relationship in developing *** on our findings,policy implications are further proposed to enhance port network organization in PRD.

To evaluate the longitudinal change in prostate-specific antigen （PSA） and the influence of initial PSA on the PSA change. We retrospectively analysed health examination data collected at Beijing Hospital from March 2007 to November 2011. Men with an initial PSA levels less than 4 ng ml- 1 and an annual PSA test for 5 years were enrolled into the study. The men were separated into four groups by the initial PSA level （0-0.99, 1-1.99, 2-2.99 and 3-3.99 ng ml- 1）, and the difference in PSA change among the four groups was analysed. A total of 1330 men were enrolled into the study. The mean age, initial PSA and PSA velocity （PSAV） were 58.17± 14.63 （range 24-91） years, 1.18±0.79 （range 0-4） ng m1-1 and 0.04±0.25 （range -1.34±2.02） ng m1-1 year-1, Pearson＇s correlation analysis showed no correlation between initial PSA and PSAV （r=-0.036, P=0. 189）. The PSAV of the 0-0.99, 1-1.99, 2-2.99 and 3-3.99 ng m1-1 initial PSA groups was 0.03±0.11, 0.07±0.32, 0.03±0.34 and -0.01±0.43 ng m1-1 year-1, respectively （P=0.06）. As the initial PSA increased, the percentage of having a PSAV over 0.75 ng m1-1 year-1 and a negative PSAV both significantly increased. Males with a baseline PSA of 0-0.99, 1-1.99, 2-2.99 and 3-3.99 ng ml- 1 had a 1.88%, 6.16%, 16.30% and 57.81% chance, respectively, that their PSA would increase above 4.0 ng ml- 1 over the following 4 years （P〈0.0001）. The PSAV has no correlation with the initial PSA level. However, as the initial PSA increases, the chance that males will have an abnormal PSA or PSAV in the future increases.

To study the influence of Hypericum perforatum extract （HPE） on piglets infected with porcine respiratory and reproductive syndrome virus （PRRSV）, enzyme-labeled immunosorbent assay （ELISA） and cytopathic effect （CPE） were used to determine in vitro whether HPE could induce swine pulmonary alveolar macrophages （PAMs） to secrete IFN-γ, and whether PRRSV titers in PAMs were affected by the levels of HPE-induced IFN-γ. HPE （200 mg·kg-1） was administrated by oral gavage to piglets infected with the PRRSV in vivo to observe whether HPE affected the viremia, lung viral titers, and weight gain of piglets infected with PRRSV. The results showed that HPE was capable of inducing PAMs to produce IFN-γ in a dose dependent manner and HPE pretreatment was capable of significantly reducing PRRSV viral titers in PAMs （P〈 0.01）. Administration of HPE to the PRRSV-infected animals significantly （P〈 0.05） reduced viremia over time as compared with the PRRSV-infected animals. But there was not significant decrease in lung viral titers at day 21 post-infection between the HPE- treated animals and the PRRSV-infected control piglets. There were no significant differences in weight gain over time among the HPE-treatment animals, the normal control, and the HPE control animals. The PRRSV-infected animals caused significant （P〈 0.01） growth retardation as compared with the HPE controls and the normal piglets. It suggested that HPE might be an effective novel therapeutic approach to diminish the PRRSV-induced disease in swine.

Background Alteration in the protein composition of high-density lipoprotein （HDL） has been proposed as a mechanism for the development of coronary heart disease （CHD）.In HDL,an increase in serum amyloid A protein （SAA） accompanying the decrease in apolipoprotein A-I （apoA-I） has been found during the acute inflammation ***,whether this phenomenon persists in CHD patients,a disease related to inflammation,is *** purpose of the present study was to explore the relationship between SAA and apoA-I in HDL isolated from CHD *** Overall,98 patients with confirmed stable CHD and 90 control subjects matched for age and gender were enrolled in this case-control *** bromide （KBr） density gradient ultracentrifugation was used to isolate HDL from *** levels of SAA and apoA-I in the HDL samples were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ***＇s correlation and general linear models were used in the *** Compared with controls,patients with CHD had a significant decrease in the amount of apoA-I （（14.21±8.44） μg/ml vs.（10.95±5.95） μg/ml,P =0.003） in HDL and a significant increase in the amount of log SAA （1.21±0.46 vs.1.51±0.55,P 〈0.00001）.Differences were independent of age,body mass index （BMI）,HDL cholesterol （HDL-C）,and other *** independently and statistically significant positive correlation between log SAA and apoA-I in HDL was observed only in the CHD group （β =2.0,P =0.026）.In the general linear model,changes in Iog（SAA）,age,age2,gender,BMI and HDL-C could explain a statistically significant 43% of the variance in *** This study provides direct evidence for the first time that there was an independent positive correlation between log SAA and apoA-I in the HDL of CHD patients,indicating the alteration of protein composition in ***,the question of whether this alteration in HDL is associated with impairment of HDL functions requires further research.

Double-exchange(DE) interaction plays an important role in electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction(OER).However,precise achievement of DE interaction often requires foreign dopants or vacancy engineering,leading to destabilization of the catalysts and deterioration of *** contrast,the utilization of environmentally friendly,contactless,and continuously adjustable magnetic fields to study the OER process is profitable to avoid aforementioned interference factors and further elucidate the direct relationship_(0.5)between DE interaction and OER ***,by using cobalt hydroxide carbonate(Co(OH)(CO_(3))·xH_(2)O,CoHC) nanostructures as a proof-of-concept study,external magnetic fields are carefully implemented to verify the role of DE interaction during water oxidation *** studies reveal that external magnetic fields effectively enhance the reaction rate of the catalyst,the overpotential decreases from 386 to 355 mV(100 mA·cm^(-2)),while Tafel slopes drastically decline from 93 to 67 mV·dec^(-1)(1.0 T).Moreover,magnetic field increment exhibits robust *** in situ Raman and impedance measurements under external field,it can be found that magnetic field promotes the electron migration between Co^(2+) and Co^(3+) in the CoHC catalysts with the assistance of DE interactions,thus boosting the OER efficiency.

A voltage controlled oscillator （VCO） module is designed, which can be used for the third generation mobile communication （3G） system. The circuit is simulated by spectre radio frequency （RF） by TSMC 0.25 μm CMOS process. During the simulation, the performance parameters of the designed VCO are as follows： tuning range 1.804 GHz-2.039 GHz, phase noise - 136.457 dBc/Hz @1 MHz, - 146.045 dBc/Hz@3 MHz, supply voltage 2.5 V, voltage output rate of 0.8 V-2.6 V, power consumption 25 roW. The layout of the related circuit is drawn by the Virtuoso Layout Editor.

Exactly solvable models are important in quantum physics. Usually, there are some underlying quantum dynamical algebras （QDA） inherit in these physical models. For instance, the QDA SU（1, 1） has been revealed in some important one-dimensional exactly solvable potentials, such as the harmonic oscillator, PSsehl-Teller potential, the radial Kratzer molecular potential, etc. However, the case for the one-dimensional Morse potential has not been studied in Ref. . Namely, whether the Morse potential possesses an QDA SU（1, 1） or not is still an open problem.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)play increasing important role in modern *** this paper,considering the incomplete observation information of individual UAV in complex combat environment,we put forward an UAV swarm non-cooperative game model based on Multi-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning(MADRL),where the state space and action space are constructed to adapt the real features of UAV swarm air-to-air *** multi-agent particle environment is employed to generate an UAV combat scene with continuous observation *** recently popular MADRL methods are compared extensively in the UAV swarm noncooperative game model,the results indicate that the performance of Multi-Agent Soft Actor-Critic(MASAC)is better than that of other MADRL methods by a large *** swarm employing MASAC can learn more effective policies,and obtain much higher hit rate and win *** under different swarm sizes and UAV physical parameters are also performed,which implies that MASAC owns a well generalization ***,the practicability and convergence of MASAC are addressed by investigating the loss value of Q-value networks with respect to individual UAV,the results demonstrate that MASAC is of good practicability and the Nash equilibrium of the UAV swarm non-cooperative game under incomplete information can be reached.
