Benefit of aerosol reduction to winter wheat during China's clean air action:A case study of Henan Province

A strongly declining aerosol radiative effect has been observed in China since 2013 after implementing the clean air action,yet its impact on wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)production remains *** use satellite measures and a biophysical crop model to assess the impact of aerosol-induced radiative perturbations on winter wheat production in the agricultural belt of Henan province from 2013 to *** calibrating parameters with the extended Fourier Amplitude Sensitivity Test(EFAST)and the generalized likelihood uncertainty estimation(GLUE)method,the DSSAT CERES-Wheat model was able to simulate crop biomass and yield more *** found that the aerosol negatively impacted wheat biomass by 21.87%and yield by 22.48%from 2006 to 2018,and the biomass effects from planting to anthesis were more significant compared to anthesis to *** to the strict clean air action,under all-sky conditions,the surface solar shortwave radiation(SSR)in 2018 increased by about 7.08%over 2006-2013 during the wheat growing *** a result of the improvement of crop photosynthesis,winter wheat biomass and yield increased by an average of 5.46%and 2.9%,*** findings show that crop carbon uptake and yield will benefit from the clean air action in China,helping to ensure national food and health security.

Biomineralization proteins： from vertebrates to bacteria

Biomineralization processes are frequently found in nature. Living organisms use various strategies to create highly ordered and hierarchical mineral structures under physiologic conditions in which the temperatures and pressures are much lower than those required to form the same mineralized structures by chemical synthesis. Although the mechanism of biomineralization remains elusive, proteins have been found responsible for the formation of such mineral structures in many cases. These proteins are active components in the process of biomineralization. The mechanisms by which their function can vary from providing active organic matrices that control the formation of specific mineral structures to being catalysts that facilitate the crystallization of certain metal ions. This review summarizes the current understanding of the functions of several representative biomineralization proteins from vertebrates to bacteria in the hopes of providing useful insight and guidance for further elucidation of mechanisms of biomineralization processes in living organisms.

目的探讨自制康复仪在缺血性脑卒中偏瘫并糖尿病患者中的应用效果。方法选取2022年2月至2024年2月广州中医药大学深圳医院(福田)收治的86例缺血性脑卒中偏瘫并糖尿病患者作为研究对象,按照随机数字表法将其分为对照组和干预组,每组各43例。对照组采用常规护理,干预组在对照组基础上增加自制康复仪进行抗阻康复训练,比较两组患者的血糖水平[空腹血糖(FPG)、餐后2 h血糖(2 hBG)、糖化血红蛋白(HbA1c)]、神经功能缺损程度[美国国立卫生研究院卒中量表(NIHSS)]、日常生活活动能力(Barthel指数)、独立生活能力(改良Rankin量表)和安全性。结果干预前,两组患者FPG、2 hBG、HbA1c水平,NIHSS、Barthel指数和改良Rankin量表评分比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);干预后,干预组FPG、2 hBG水平,NIHSS、改良Rankin量表评分均低于对照组,Barthel指数评分高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论对于缺血性脑卒中偏瘫并糖尿病患者加用自制康复仪进行抗阻康复训练,能减少血糖波动,提高生活质量,但对HbA1c的影响不大,还有待进一步深入研究。

Effect of Ni content on high power laser ablation behavior of coatings sprayed by Ni covering graphite/SiO2 powders

Faced with the challenge of high energy ablation problems, especially for laser ablation, effective energy dissipation protective materials fabricate by efficient preparation method is a feasible solution. The Ni-graphite/Si O2 coatings with different Ni content were prepared by plasma spraying method with optimized plasma spraying parameters. All coatings are pure without oxidation and dense. Their ablation behaviors were investigated by high power continuous wave laser. The results indicate that the Ni-graphite/Si O2 coating with appropriate Ni content could realize the purpose of energy consumption by endothermal reaction of graphite/Si O2 and reflection improvement. High Ni content will block the occurrence of endothermal reaction of graphite/Si O2 and increase the heat diffusion to interior part of coating, which can make the ablation situation of coating more serious.

Assembly of Two Isostructural Metal-organic Frameworks Based on Hetero-N,O Donor Ligand for Detecting Nitro Explosives

Two isostructural metal-organic frameworks,[NO3][M3(H2O)3O(TBA)3]-2DMF-6H2O(1 and 2)[M=In and Fe, H2TBA=4-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)-benzoic acid], have been successfully synthesized. Compounds 1 and 2 have three-dimensional structures bridged via the typical 6-connected tri-nuclear cluster units M3O(COO)6 and linear linker H2TBA. The whole 3D framework possesses a 6-connected acs topology. Notably, by the fluorescence technique, compound 1 can detect nitro explosives through fluorescence quenching effect, especially for 2,4,6-trinitrophenol(TNP, Ksv=3.64×10^4 L/mol). Furthermore, the fluorescence spectrum red shifts as the number of NO2 group increases. Based on the aforementioned consideration, compound 1 can be considered as a potential luminescent probe for the detection of TNP.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of human death worldwide. Autophagy is an evolutionarily conserved degradation pathway,which is a highly conserved cellular degradation process in which lysosomes decompose their own organelles and recycle the resulting *** is critical in maintaining cardiovascular homeostasis and function, and excessive or insufficient autophagy or autophagic flux can lead to cardiovascular disease. Enormous evidence indicates that exercise training plays a beneficial role in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The regulation of autophagy during exercise is a bidirectional process. For cardiovascular disease caused by either insufficient or excessive autophagy, exercise training restores normal autophagy function and delays the progression of cardiovascular *** in-depth exploration and discussion of exercise-mediated regulation of autophagy in the cardiovascular system can broaden our view about the prevention of various autophagy-related diseases through exercise training. In this article, we review autophagy and its related signaling pathways,as well as autophagy-dependent beneficial effects of exercise in cardiovascular system.

Bone remodeling is a lifelong process that gives rise to a mature, dynamic bone structure via a balance between bone formation by osteoblasts and resorption by osteoclasts. These opposite processes allow the accommodation of bones to dynamic mechanical forces, altering bone mass in response to changing conditions. Mechanical forces are indispensable for bone homeostasis;skeletal formation, resorption, and adaptation are dependent on mechanical signals, and loss of mechanical stimulation can therefore significantly weaken the bone structure, causing disuse osteoporosis and increasing the risk of fracture. The exact mechanisms by which the body senses and transduces mechanical forces to regulate bone remodeling have long been an active area of study among researchers and clinicians. Such research will lead to a deeper understanding of bone disorders and identify new strategies for skeletal rejuvenation. Here, we will discuss the mechanical properties, mechanosensitive cell populations, and mechanotransducive signaling pathways of the skeletal system.

Exercise training is beneficial to the cardiovascular system. MicroRNAs （miRNAs, miRs） are a class of conserved non-coding RNAs and play a wide-ranging role in the regulation of eukaryotic gene expression. Exercise training alters the expression levels of large amounts ofmiRNAs in the heart. In addition, circulating miRNAs appear to be regulated by exercise training. In this review, we will summarize recent advances in the regulation of miRNAs during physical exercise intervention in various cardiovascular diseases, including pathologic cardiac hypertrophy, myocardial fibrosis, ischemia-reperfusion injury, myocardial infarction, and heart failure. The regulatory role of circulating miRNAs after exercise training was also reviewed. An Early Paleozoic Tectonic Mélange at the Western Margin of West Cathaysia: Constraints from Organic-walled Microfossils

The Jiangshan-Shaoxing-Pingxiang Fault(JSP Fault) is traditionally considered as the boundary between the Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks in South China. Whether the previously defined Shenshan and Kuli formations located along the JSP fault and near the Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, are continuous strata or parts of a tectonic mélange is important for understanding the geological history of South China. A carbonaceous phyllite from the area, previously considered as part of the Neoproterozoic Shenshan and Kuli formations, is analyzed palynologically in this study. The AsteridiumComasphaeridium acritarch assemblage found in the slate can be correlated with the basal Cambrian AsteridiumHeliosphaeridium-Comasphaeridium(AHC) acritarch assemblage in Tarim and the Yangtze Block. The early Cambrian biostratigraphical age assignment for the carbonaceous phyllite indicates the presence of both Neoproterozoic and Cambrian rocks in the sedimentary package, and supports that the package is a part of tectonic mélange rather than a continuous Neoproterozoic strata. The Cambrian slate is the youngest known lithology in the mélange at present.
