Autoimmune pancreatitis(AIP)is a rare chronic autoimmune *** diagnosis of AIP mainly depends on histopathology,imaging and response to *** immunoglobulin 4(IgG4)is used only as collateral evidence in diagnostic criteria for AIP because of its moderate *** IgG4 levels are normal in 15%-37%of type 1 AIP and most of type 2 AIP *** these patients,the indeterminate imaging and histopathology may lead to the difficulty in definitive diagnosis of ***,discovery of new biomarkers is impor-tant for AIP ***,we provide some views on the progression and challenges in identifying novel serological biomarkers in AIP diagnosis.

Broadband photodetectors with self-driven functions have attracted intensive scientific interest due to their low energy consumption and high optical ***,high-performance broadband self-driven photodetectors are still a significant challenge due to the complex fabrication processes,environmental toxicity,high production costs of traditional 3D semiconductor materials and sharply raised contact resistance,severe interfacial recombination of 2D materials and 2D/3D mixed dimension ***,1D p-Te/2D n-Bi_(2)Te_(3) heterojunctions are constructed by the simple and low-cost hydrothermal method.1D p-Te/2D n-Bi_(2)Te_(3) devices are applied in photoelectrochemical(PEC)photodetectors,with their high performance attributed to the good interfacial contacts reducing interface *** device demonstrated a broad wavelength range(365–850 nm)with an Iph/Idark as high as *** R_(i),D^(*),and external quantum efficiency(EQE)values of the device were as high as 12.07 mA/W,5.87×10^(10) Jones,and 41.05%,respectively,which were significantly better than the performance of the prepared Bi_(2)Te_(3) and Te devices.A comparison of the freshly fabricated device and the device after 30 days showed that 1D p-Te/2D n-Bi_(2)Te_(3) had excellent stability with only 18.08%decay of *** is anticipated that this work will provide new emerging material for future design and preparation of a high-performance self-driven broadband photodetector.

●AIM:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of stromal lenticule addition keratoplasty(SLAK)with corneal crosslinking(CXL)on patients with corneal ectasia secondary to femtosecond laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis(FS-LASIK).●METHODS:A series of 5 patients undertaking SLAK with CXL for the treatment of corneal ectasia secondary to FS-LASIK were followed for *** lenticules were collected from patients undertaking small incision lenticule extraction(SMILE)for the correction of *** a stromal lenticule was aimed at improving the corneal thickness for the safe application of crosslinking and compensating for the thin cornea to improve its mechanical strength.●RESULTS:All surgeries were conducted successfully with no significant *** best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)ranged from 0.05 to 0.8-2 before *** pre-operational total corneal thickness ranged from 345-404μm and maximum keratometry(Kmax)ranged from 50.8 to *** the combination surgery,both the corneal keratometry(range 55.9 to 92.8)and total corneal thickness(range 413-482μm)significantly *** out of 5 patients had improvement of corneal biomechanical parameters(reflected by stiffness parameter A1 in Corvis ST).However,3 patients showed decreased BCVA after surgery due to the development of irregular astigmatism and transient *** the onset of corneal edema right after SLAK,the corneal topography and thickness generally stabilized after 3mo.●CONCLUSION:SLAK with CXL is a potentially beneficial and safe therapy for advanced corneal *** work needs to address the poor predictability of corneal refractometry and compare the outcomes of different surgical modes.

Turpentine is a renewable and resourceful forest *** deep processing and utilization of turpentine,particularly its primary componentβ-pinene,has garnered widespread *** study aimed to synthesize 40 derivatives ofβ-pinene,including nopinone,3-cyanopyridines of nopinone,myrtanyl acid,myrtanyl acylthioureas,and myrtanyl *** assessed the antiviral activities of theseβ-pinene derivatives against influenza virus A/Puerto Rico/8/34(H1N1)using the 3-(4,5-dimetylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide ***β-pinene derivatives were used before and after cellular infection with the influenza virus to evaluate their preventive and therapeutic effects against the H1N1 *** results showed that only compound 10o exhibited a preventive effect against the H1N1 virus with a half-maximal inhibitory concentration(IC50)value of 47.6μmol/*** the compounds,4e,4i,and 4l demonstrated therapeutic effects against cellular infection,with compound 4e displaying the most potent therapeutic effect(IC50=17.5μmol/L),comparable to the positive control *** findings indicated that certainβ-pinene derivatives exhibited in vitro antiviral activity against the H1N1 influenza A virus,warranting further investigation as potential anti-influenza agents.

The nutritional composition and overall quality of maize kernels are largely determined by the key chemical com-ponents:protein,oil,and ***,the genetic basis underlying these nutritional quality traits during grainﬁlling remains poorly *** this study,the concentrations of protein,oil,and starch were studied in 204 recombinant inbred lines resulting from a cross between DH1M and T877 at four different stages *** the traits exhibited considerable phenotypic *** the grain-ﬁlling stage,the levels of protein and starch content generally increased,whereas oil content decreased,with signiﬁcant changes observed between 30 and 40 days after *** trait locus(QTL)mapping was conducted and a total of 32 QTLs,comprising 14,12,and 6 QTLs for grain protein,oil,and starch content were detected,*** QTLs were consistently detectable across different time *** integrating QTL analysis,glo-bal gene expression proﬁling,and comparative genomics,we identiﬁed 157,86,and 54 differentially expressed genes harboring nonsynonymous substitutions between the parental lines for grain protein,oil,and starch con-tent,*** gene function annotation prioritized 15 candidate genes potentially involved in reg-ulating grain quality traits,including those encoding transcription factors(NAC,MADS-box,bZIP,and MYB),cell wall invertase,cellulose-synthase-like protein,cell division cycle protein,trehalase,auxin-responsive factor,and phloem protein *** study offers signiﬁcant insights into the genetic architecture of maize kernel nutritional quality and identiﬁes promising QTLs and candidate genes,which are crucial for the genetic enhance-ment of these traits in maize breeding programs.

目的探明CO_(2)和H_(2)S对镍基合金028钝化膜性能和点蚀敏感性的影响。方法采用循环动电位极化(CPP)、电化学阻抗谱(EIS)、莫特-肖特基(M-S)等测试方法,研究Cl-环境、CO_(2)-Cl-环境和H_(2)S-Cl-环境中镍基合金028的钝化膜性能。通过制备一维人工凹坑电极模拟点蚀坑的稳态生长,采用向负向电位扫描法,研究镍基合金028在局部点蚀环境中的金属溶解动力学,明确CO_(2)和H_(2)S对点蚀生长动力学的影响。结果CO_(2)和H_(2)S都会使镍基合金028钝化膜性能变差,而H_(2)S的影响更为显著,具体表现为:在H_(2)S-Cl-环境中具有更高的钝化电流密度jp、更低的点蚀电位Eb和再钝化电位Erp。H_(2)S-Cl-环境中的钝化膜电阻Rf、电荷转移电阻Rt和钝化膜厚度均低于CO_(2)-Cl-环境中的,此外,钝化膜在H_(2)S-Cl-环境中具有更高的点缺陷密度。在最大点蚀坑溶解电流密度jdiss,max相同的条件下,H_(2)S-Cl-环境中点蚀稳态生长所需的驱动力Emax明显低于CO_(2)-Cl-环境中的;在相同Emax下,H_(2)S-Cl-环境中的jdiss,max高于CO_(2)-Cl-环境中的。结论CO_(2)和H_(2)S通过增加钝化膜溶解速率、降低钝化膜电阻和增加点缺陷密度,不同程度地增加了镍基合金028的点蚀敏感性,而H_(2)S更容易造成钝化膜损伤。在点蚀稳态生长阶段,镍基合金028点蚀的稳态生长遵循塔菲尔规律,相比于CO_(2),H_(2)S更容易促进点蚀从亚稳态向稳态发展,并且在H_(2)S环境中具有更高的点蚀生长稳定性。

Objective:Chronic kidney disease(CKD)is a progressive disorder characterized by intricate structural and functional alterations in the kidneys,attributable to diverse causative ***,the therapeutic promise of miR-145-5p in addressing renal pathologies has been *** investigation seeks to elucidate the functional role of miR-145-5p in injured kidneys by subjecting human glomerular mesangial cells(HGMCs)to stimulation with Angiotensin II(AngII).Materials and Methods:Cellular viability and the levels of inﬂammatory mediators were evaluated utilizing Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8),quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR),and western blot methodologies,both in the presence of AngII incubation and in scenarios of miR-145p overexpression and ***,the cell cycle dynamics were elucidated through Fluorescence-activated Cell Sorting(FACS)***:AngII incubation induced an upregulation of miR-145-5p and inﬂammatory factors including Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 1(ICAM-1),Interleukin 6(IL-6),Interleukin 8(IL-8),and Interleukin 1β(IL-1β).Additionally,it elevated the expression of Cyclin A2,Cyclin D1,and the G2/M cell cycle ***,inhibition of miR-145-5p heightened the levels of inﬂammatory factors and cell cycle regulators induced by AngII *** expression of miR-145-5p correlated with a downregulation of Interleukin 10(IL-10)expression,concurrently promoting HGMC proliferation under AngII ***,ectopic miR-145-5p expression demonstrated a reduction in inﬂammatory factors,cell cyclin regulators,G2/M cell cycle ratio,and overall ***:MiR-145-5p exhibited inhibitory effects on the inﬂammatory response and proliferation induced by Angiotensin II in HGMCs,showcasing its potential as a therapeutic avenue for the treatment of kidney injury.
