A fixed-geometry two-dimensional mixed-compression supersonic inlet with sweep-forward high-light and bleed slot in an inverted ＂X＂-form layout was tested in a wind tunnel. Results indicate：（1） with increases of the free stream Mach number, the total pressure recovery decreases, while the mass flow ratio increases to the maximum at the design point and then decreases; （2） when the angle of attack, a, is less than 6°, the total pressure recovery of both side inlets tends to decrease, but, on the lee side inlet, its values are higher than those on the windward side inlet, and the mass flow ratio on lee side inlet increases first and then falls, while on the windward side it keeps declining slowly with the sum of mass flow on both sides remaining almost constant; （3） with the attack angle, a, rising from 6° to 9°, both total pressure recovery and mass flow ratio on the lee side inlet fall quickly, but on the windward side inlet can be observed decreases in the total pressure recovery and increases in the mass flow ratio; （4） by comparing the velocity and back pressure characterristics of the inlet with a bleed slot to those of the inlet without, it stands to reason that the existence of a bleed slot has not only widened the steady working range of inlet, but also made an enormous improvement in its performance at high Mach numbers. Besides, this paper also presents an example to show how this type of inlet is designed.

We present a new method to determine the optimal regularity of positive solutions u∈C^(4)(Ω\{0})∩C^(0)(Ω) of the Hénon-Hardy equation,i.e.,Δ^(2)u=|x|^(α)u^(p)inΩ,(0,1) where Ω■RN(N≥4) is a bounded smooth domain with 0∈Ω,α>-4,and p∈*** is clear that 0 is an isolated singular point of solutions of(0.1) and the optimal regularity of u in Ω relies on the parameter α.It is also important to see that the regularity of u at x=0 determines the regularity of u in Ω.We first establish asymptotic expansions up to arbitrary orders at x=0 of prescribed positive solutions u ∈C^(4)(Ω{0}) ∩ C^(0)(Ω)of(0.1).Then we show that the regularity at x=0 of each positive solution u of(0.1) can be determined by some terms in asymptotic expansions of the related positive radial solution of the equation(0.1) with Ω=B,where B is the unit ball of R^(N).The main idea works for more general equations with singular weights.

An observer-based adaptive backstepping boundary control is proposed for vibration control of flexible offshore riser systems with unknown nonlinear input dead zone and uncertain environmental *** control algorithm can update the control law online through real-time data to make the controller adapt to the environment and improve the control ***,based on the adaptive backstepping framework,virtual control laws and Lyapunov functions are designed for each *** direction interference observers are designed to track the timevarying boundary *** this basis,the inverse of the dead zone and linear state transformation are used to compensate for the original system and eliminate the adverse effects of the dead *** addition,the stability of the closed-loop system is proven by Lyapunov stability *** the system states are bounded,and the vibration offset of the riser converges to a small area of the initial ***,four examples of flexible marine risers are simulated in MATLAB to verify the effectiveness of the proposed controller.

The present study aims to examine the suitability of two commonly used assumptions that simplify modelling metoceanconditions for designing offshore wind turbines in the South China Sea (SCS). The first assumption assumes thatjoint N-year extreme wind and wave events can be independently estimated and subsequently combined. The secondone assumes peak wind and waves can be modelled as occurring simultaneously during a tropical cyclone (TC) *** better understand the potential TC activity, a set of 10000 years synthetic TC events are generated. The wind fieldmodel and the Mike 21 spectral wave model are employed to model the TC-induced hazards. Subsequently, theeffect of the assumptions is evaluated by analyzing the peak structural response of both monopile and semisubmersibleoffshore wind turbines during TC events. The results demonstrate that the examined assumptions are generally *** assessing the implications of these assumptions, valuable insights are obtained, which can inform andimprove the modelling of TC-induced hazards in the SCS region.

Most studies on solute transport in coastal aquifers affected by tides focus on the transport of instantaneous released solute, and there are few studies on continuously released solute affected by tides. In this study, the image monitoring method is used to establish the quantitative relationship between the concentration of the colored tracer and the hue value of the image, and the digital image is used to determine the tracer concentration distribution. Using image monitoring method laboratory experiments, quantitative analysis of the characteristics of continuously released solute transport in coastal unconfined aquifers under the tidal influence. Experiments show that the high tide inhibits the increase in the concentration of each point in the aquifer. Under the influence of tides, the solute plume retreats towards the land. During the low tide period, the solute plume migrates toward the sea again. And the solute plume will maintain a relatively stable shape after entering the aquifer for a long enough time. Ignoring the tidal effect seems to have little effect on the estimation of the position of the solute plume, but ignoring the tidal effect has a certain influence on the estimation of the dispersion range of the solute plume. No matter whether considering the tidal action, the final dispersion range of the solute plume is almost the same. But before the solute plume reaches a stable state, ignoring the tidal effect will lead to a smaller dispersion range of the solute plume.
