Astrophysical S-factor and reaction rate for 15N(p,γ)16O within the modified potential cluster model

Assessing the Influence of Dykes on the Drainage Network of the Shivan River in North Maharashtra

The prominent linear dyke ridges outcropped in the Narmada-Tapi dykes’ swarm represent an intrusion in the Deccan Traps. Understanding the relationship among the underlying geological structures, the strike of the dykes, and the channel patterns is essential. Dykes act as ob.tructions to stream flow, causing diversions, and their geometry and patterns significantly impact the rivers and streams that drain and cross the dyke swarm zone. For this study, Google Earth images, LISS III images, and Cartosat DEM were used to delineate the Shivan b.sin and extract dyke features. The Shivan River b.sin is a sixth-order drainage system that reflects superimposed drainage systems within the Tapi dyke swarm zone. Ab.ut 65% (169 km2) of its area is controlled b. dyke orientation. The dyke ridges align predominantly in an East-West (E-W) direction, a pattern mainly followed b. lower-order streams, which have developed an insequent, transverse drainage network within the dyke swarm zone. In the lower parts of the Shivan b.sin, where the numb.r of dykes decreases, the drainage network follows the general slope and is oriented in a North-South direction. The Shivan River and its trib.taries have partially adjusted to the dyke orientation, resulting in a transverse drainage pattern in areas characterized b. parallel dyke ridges.

This study is a contrib.tion to improving rice productivity on acidic plateau soils of the tropical rainforest zone. It is b.sed on taking into account the cationic b.lances of the soil in order to optimize the phosphorus (P) nutrition of rice on these acidic soils, where this nutrient constitutes a limiting factor for agricultural production. Three (3) pot trials were conducted in Adiopodoumé in the forested south of Côte d’Ivoire. The interactive effects of calcium carb.nate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg Ca ha−1) and magnesium sulfate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg Mg ha−1) were evaluated on the response of NERICA 5 rice at doses 0, 25, 50 and 75 kg P ha−1 of natural phosphate from Togo, applied only once at the start of the experiment. Additional fertilizers of nitrogen (N) (100 kg N ha−1) and potassium (K) (50 kg KCl ha−1) were added to each of the tests in a split-plot device. The test results revealed a paddy production potential of approximately 3 to 5 t⋅ha−1 for NERICA 5 on an acidic soil, under the effect of the interaction of P, Ca and Mg. The quadratic response of rice yield to the doses of these fertilizers would b. more dependent on their b.lance, itself influenced b. Ca nutrition. For the sustainab.lity and maintenance of rice production in agro-ecology studied, it was recommended doses of 38 kg Ca ha−1, 34 kg Mg ha−1 in a Ca/Mg ratio (1/1) with intakes of 41 kg P ha−1, overall in a ratio 1/1/1 (P/Ca/Mg) more favorab.e to the availab.lity of free iron considered a guiding element of mineral nutrition. Thus, these promising results should b. confirmed in a real environment for b.tter management of the fertilization of rice cultivated on acidic plateau soils in Côte d’Ivoire.

The Impact of Lifestyle Factors on Migraine Frequency and Severity in Neurology

Ob.ective: This systematic review examines the impact of lifestyle factors on migraine frequency and severity through a comprehensive analysis of lifestyle factors such as diet, physical activity, sleep patterns, stress, mental health, and environmental influences. Methods: We thoroughly searched Google Scholar, PUb.ED, Scopus, and Web.of Science datab.ses using keywords related to migraines and lifestyle factors. Keywords incorporated the b.olean operator “and” to narrow search results. Following the PRISMA guidelines, we identified, screened, and evaluated studies for inclusion, resulting in nine studies meeting the eligib.lity criteria. Results: A total of 4917 records were initially identified from Scopus (2786), Pub.ed (854), and Web.of Science (1277). Following deduplication, 3657 records underwent title screening, with 382 additionally screened b. ab.tract. Ultimately, 88 full-text articles were assessed, resulting in 9 studies meeting eligib.lity for qualitative synthesis: 7 prospective and 2 retrospective studies. Our findings highlight the multifaceted role of lifestyle factors in migraine pathophysiology and management. Dietary hab.ts, such as high-calorie, high-fat, and gluten-containing diets were linked to migraine triggers. Moderate physical activity showed b.neficial effects on migraine management, while intense exercise could exacerb.te symptoms. Poor sleep hygiene and insomnia were strongly associated with increased migraine frequency and severity. Chronic stress and poor mental health significantly contrib.ted to migraine exacerb.tion, with stress management techniques proving b.neficial. Environmental factors, including light, sound, weather changes, and allergens, were also identified as significant migraine triggers. Conclusions: Personalized lifestyle modifications, tailored to individual patient profiles, are crucial in managing migraines. Compressive property and energy ab.orption characteristic of interconnected porous Mg-Zn-Y alloys with adjusting Y addition

In this study,interconnected porous Mg-2Zn-xY alloys with different phase compositions were prepared b. various Y additions(x=0.4,3,and 6 wt.%)to adjust the compressive properties and energy ab.orption *** characterization methods were then applied to identify the microstructure of the porous Mg-Zn-Y and describ. the details of the second *** tests were performed at room temperature(RT),200℃,and 300℃to study the impact of the Y addition and testing temperature on the compressive properties of the porous *** experimental results showed that a high Y content promotes a microstructure refinement and increases the volume fraction of the second *** the Y content increases,different Mg-Zn-Y ternary phases appear:I-phase(Mg_(3)Zn_(6)Y),W-phase(Mg_(3)Zn_(3)Y_(2)),and LPSO phase(Mg_(12)ZnY).When the Y content ranges b.tween 0.4%and 6%,the compressive strength increases from 6.30MPa to 9.23 MPa,and the energy ab.orption capacity increases from 7.33 MJ/m^(3)to 10.97 MJ/m^(3)at RT,which is mainly attrib.ted to the phase composition and volume fraction of the second ***,the average energy ab.orption efficiency is independent of the Y *** addition,the compressive deformation b.haviors of the porous Mg-Zn-Y are altered b. the testing *** compressive strength and energy ab.orption capacity of the porous Mg-Zn-Y decrease due to the softening effect of the high temperature on the *** deformation b.haviors at different temperatures are finally ob.erved to reflect the failure mechanisms of the struts.

In this work,we investigate a static and spherically symmetric b.rdeen-Kiselev b.ack hole(b.)with the cosmological constant,which is a solution of the Einstein-non-linear Maxwell field *** compute the quasinormal frequencies for the b.rdeen-Kiselev b. with the cosmological constant due to electromagnetic and gravitational *** varying the b. parameters,we discuss the b.havior of b.th real and imaginary parts of the b. quasinormal frequencies and compare these frequencies with the Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter b. surrounded b. quintessence(RN-dSQ).Interestingly,it is shown that the responses of the b.rdeen-Kiselev b. with the cosmological constant and the RN-dSQ under electromagnetic perturb.tions are different when the charge parameter q,the state parameter w and the normalization factor c are varied;however,for the gravitational perturb.tions,the responses of the b.rdeen-Kiselev b. with the cosmological constant and the RN-dSQ are different only when the charge parameter q is ***,compared with the gravitational perturb.tions,the electromagnetic perturb.tions can b. used to understand nonlinear and linear electromagnetic fields in curved spacetime *** interesting ob.ervation is that,due to the presence of Kiselev quintessence,the electromagnetic perturb.tions around the b.rdeen-Kiselev b. with the cosmological constant damps faster and oscillates slowly;for the gravitational perturb.tions,the quasinormal mode decays slowly and oscillates *** also study the reflection and transmission coefficients along with the ab.orption cross section in the b.rdeen-Kiselev b. with the cosmological constant;it is shown that the transmission coefficients will increase due to the presence of Kiselev quintessence.
