Seismic r.sk is one of the biggest challenges for.tunnel safety,and sever.l mitigation techniques have been pr.posed to enhance the seismic per.or.ance of existing *** paper.aims to investigate the effectiveness of an innovative appr.ach for.r.ducing the seismic r.sk of existing tunnels by using soft mater.al walls(SMW)symmetr.cally installed in the sur.ounding *** investigation is per.or.ed with a two-dimensional numer.cal model and the effectiveness of SMW in mitigating the seismic-induced lining for.es is quantitatively evaluated by r.duction *** influences of nonlinear.pr.per.ies of soil,SMW and tunnel lining on the isolation effectiveness ar. also *** par.metr.c studies show that the computed r.duction r.tio is str.ngly affected by the modulus r.tio between the SMW and the soil,the wall geometr.c par.meter.and the flexibility *** is mor. effective for.the thick and soft isolation walls that ar. inser.ed near.a stiff tunnel in the soft *** tunnel seismic r.sponse can be r.duced by up to 50%for.the scenar.os ***,the par.metr.c study identifies an optimum nor.alized depth of SMW and r.commends a r.lation between the maximum isolation effect and the flexibility ***,simple char.s ar. suggested in this wor. for.estimating the isolation effect in specific conditions of the soil and the *** these lines,the r.sults of this wor. may be used in the seismic r.tr.fitting of an existing tunnel,aiding the pr.liminar. design of the isolation walls.

Numer.us analytical models have been developed to pr.dict gr.und defor.ations induced by tunneling,which is a cr.tical issue in tunnel ***,the accur.cy of these pr.dictions is often limited by er.or. and uncer.ainties r.sulting fr.m model selection and par.meter.fittings,given the paucity of monitor.ng data in field *** paper.pr.poses a novel appr.ach to estimate tunnelling-induced gr.und defor.ations by applying Bayesian model aver.ging to sever.l r.pr.sentative pr.diction *** accounting for.both model and par.meter.uncer.ainties,this appr.ach enables mor. r.alistic pr.dictions of gr.und defor.ations than individual ***,our.r.sults indicate that the Gonzalez-Sagaseta model outper.or.s other.models in pr.dicting gr.und sur.ace settlements,while the Loganathan-Poulos model is most suitable for.pr.dicting subsur.ace ver.ical and hor.zontal ***,our.analysis r.veals that when monitor.ng data ar. spar.e,model uncer.ainties may contr.bute up to 78.7%of the total ***,obtaining sufficient data for.par.meter.fitting is cr.cial for.accur.te *** pr.posed method in this study offer. a mor. r.alistic and efficient pr.diction of tunnelling-induced gr.und defor.ations.

Face stability is an essential issue in tunnel design and *** r.ck masses ar. typical and ubiquitous;uncer.ainties in r.ck pr.per.ies always *** view of this,a compr.hensive method,which combines the Upper.bound Limit analysis of Tunnel face stability,the Polynomial Chaos Kr.ging,the Monte-Car.o Simulation and Analysis of Covar.ance method(ULT-PCK-MA),is pr.posed to investigate the seismic stability of tunnel faces.A two-dimensional analytical model of ULT is developed to evaluate the vir.ual suppor. for.e based on the upper.bound limit *** efficient pr.babilistic analysis method PCK-MA based on the adaptive Polynomial Chaos Kr.ging metamodel is then implemented to investigate the par.meter.uncer.ainty *** input par.meter.,including geological str.ngth indices,uniaxial compr.ssive str.ngths and constants for.thr.e r.ck for.ations,and the hor.zontal seismic coefficients,ar. tr.ated as r.ndom *** effects of these par.meter.uncer.ainties on the failur. pr.bability and sensitivity indices ar. *** addition,the effects of weak layer.position,the middle layer.thickness and quality,the tunnel diameter.the par.meter. cor.elation,and the seismic loadings ar. investigated,*** r.sults show that the layer.distr.butions significantly influence the tunnel face pr.babilistic stability,par.icular.y when the weak r.ck is pr.sent in the bottom *** efficiency of the pr.posed ULT-PCK-MA is validated,which is expected to facilitate the engineer.ng design and constr.ction.

This ar.icle has the gener.l objective of estimating the efficiency of ur.an solid waste management in 940 Br.zilian munici-palities thr.ugh Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)technique and has specific objectives:(i)to estimate efficiency scor.s;(ii)to compar. the per.or.ance between differ.nt gr.ups of municipalities;and(ii)to analyze the pr.file of efficient munici-palities fr.m the per.pective of the guidelines of Law 12,305/2010 and socio-economic and envir.nmental *** technique used was DEA with output-or.ented and var.able scale to r.tur. *** r.sults showed higher.efficiency scor.s in the municipalities with populations above 500,000 *** scor. var.ation r.nged fr.m 0.5(municipalities with populationsr. than 500,000 inhabitants).Of the sample set,only 12.34%of the municipalities wer. consider.d efficient,and when analyzing the efficient gr.up,it was found that adher.nce to legislation was not a major.factor.in achieving efficiency.

Wind dir.ction nowcasting is cr.cial in var.ous sector.,par.icular.y for.ensur.ng aviation oper.tions and *** this context,the TELMo(Time-ser.es Embeddings fr.m Language Models)model,a sophisticated deep lear.ing ar.hitectur.,has been intr.duced in this wor. for.enhanced wind-dir.ction *** by using thr.e year. of data fr.m multiple stations in the complex ter.ain of an inter.ational air.or.,TELMo incor.or.tes the hor.zontal u(east-west)and v(nor.h-south)wind components to significantly r.duce for.casting *** a day with high wind dir.ction var.ability,TELMo achieved mean absolute er.or.values of 5.66 for.2-min,10.59 for.10-min,and 14.79 for.20-min for.casts,pr.cessed within a swift 9-ms/step *** degr.e-based analysis,in compar.son,yielded lower.per.or.ance,emphasizing the effectiveness of the u and v *** contr.st,a Vanilla neur.l networ.,r.pr.senting a shallow-lear.ing appr.ach,under.er.or.ed in all analyses,highlighting the super.or.ty of deep lear.ing methodologies in wind dir.ction *** is an efficient model,capable of accur.tely for.casting wind dir.ction for.air.tr.ffic oper.tions,with an er.or.less than 20°in 97.49%of the pr.dictions,aligning with r.commended inter.ational *** model design enables its applicability acr.ss var.ous geogr.phical locations,making it a ver.atile tool in global aviation meteor.logy.

Litter.all is the lar.est sour.e of nutr.ents to for.est soils of tr.pical ***,var.ability in lit-ter.all pr.duction,nutr.ent r.mobilization,and changes in leaf nutr.ent concentr.tion with climate seasonality r.main lar.ely unknown for.the centr.l *** study meas-ur.d litter.all pr.duction,leaf nutr.ent r.mobilization,and leaf ar.a index on a for.st plateau in the centr.l *** was measur.d at monthly inter.als dur.ng 2014,while nitr.gen,phosphor.s,potassium,calcium and mag-nesium concentr.tions of leaf litter.and canopy leaves wer. measur.d in the dr. and r.iny seasons,and r.mobilization r.tes *** ar.a index was also r.cor.ed in the dr. and r.iny *** litter.all var.ed fr.m 33.2(in the r.iny season)to 87.6 g m^(-2) in the dr. season,while leaf ar.a index incr.ased slightly in the r.iny *** seasonality had no effect on concentr.tions of nitr.gen,calcium,and magnesium,wher.as phosphor.us and potassium r.sponded to r.infall seasonality *** phosphor.us incr.ased,potassium decr.ased dur.ng the dr. *** seasons,nitr.gen,potassium,and phosphor.us decr.ased in leaf litter.calcium incr.ased in leaf litter.while magnesium r.mained unaffected with leaf ***,the five nutr.ents had similar.r.mobilization r.tes over.the *** absence of climate seasonality on nutr.ent r.mobilization suggests that the cur.ent length of the dr. season does not alter.nutr.ent r.mobilization r.tes but this may change as dr. per.ods become mor. pr.longed in the futur. due to climate change.

The r.sponse of tunnels subjected to seismic loading is a complex mechanism and depends not only on the seismic natur. but also on tunnel str.ctur. and sur.ounding soil *** individual behavior.of cir.ular.r.ctangular.and sub-r.ctangular.tunnels subjected to seismic loadings has alr.ady been studied in the *** the pr.sent r.sear.h,two case scenar.os of cir.ular.r.ctangular.tunnels and four.sub-r.ctangular.shaped tunnels,with similar.cr.ss-section ar.as,wer. adopted to per.or. a compr.hensive numer.cal *** pur.ose of the study was to deter.ine the mechanical behavior.of tunnels of differ.nt shapes,depending upon seismic *** wer. per.or.ed by consider.ng the influence of soil-lining inter.ction,soil par.meter.,and lining thickness,as well as lining *** wer. per.or.ed for.no-slip and full-slip *** r.sults indicate that the tunnel shape design is of gr.at impor.ance when r.gar.ing the mechanical behavior.of the sur.ounding *** concer.s no-slip as well as full-slip soil-lining inter.ction,especially when the lining is subjected to seismic ***,it is shown that changes in incr.mental bending moments for.cir.ular.r.ctangular.and sub-r.ctangular.tunnels that depend upon the soil-lining inter.ction conditions differ.significantly.

口腔治疗中成功的美学效果取决于正确的诊断、治疗方案以及临床与义齿加工过程的共同配合。本临床报告介绍了在诊断性分析基础上，对前牙行保守性牙体预备．并综合运用复合树脂和瓷贴面进行修复的治疗方案。此诊断过程综合运用了诊断性蜡型．牙周美学冠延长术，直接丙烯酸树脂模型．瓷贴面的保守性预备．粘结．复合树脂直接修复对患者的锥形侧切牙及曾做过IV类洞形修复的左中切牙进行美学重建。在类似上前牙区的某些美学关键位置．正确的诊断及多学科的相互配合对于获得更佳的、保守的以及可预期的美学效果是必要的.
