Re.tal prolapse.associate. with traumatic fe.al incontine.ce.is a rare.clinical combination. This study was de.igne. to asse.s De.orme.s ope.ation with sphincte.oplasty as a surgical manage.e.t of this combination in te.ms of re.urre.ce.and improve.e.t of fe.al incontine.ce. In this prospe.tive.study, we.e.rolle. patie.ts suffe.ing from short, full-thickne.s re.tal prolapse.associate. with traumatic fe.al incontine.ce.who had be.n admitte. to Ale.andria Main Unive.sity Hospital during the.pe.iod of May 2010-January 2013. Pre.pe.ative.data including cause.of trauma, duration of symptoms, re.ults of anal manome.ry, and de.re. of fe.al incontine.ce.using We.ne. score.we.e.colle.te. from all patie.ts. De.orme.s proce.ure.with ove.lap sphincte.oplasty was done.in all patie.ts. Re.urre.ce.of prolapse.and improve.e.t of fe.al incontine.ce.we.e.asse.se. afte. 1, 3, 6 and 12 months. The.study include. 13 patie.ts age. （32±8.7） ye.rs, 9 fe.ale. and 4 male.. Cause.of sphincte.ic injury include. pre.ious anal surge.y in 7 patie.ts and normal labor in 6 patie.ts. Duration be.we.n sphincte.ic injury and ope.ation was （8.08±2.47） months. Pre.pe.ative.We.ne.＇s me.n score.was 16.07±3.4. e.rly postope.ative.complications include. supe.ficial wound infe.tion （69.2%）, minor wound de.isce.ce.（61.5%）, and postope.ative.ble.ding （7.6%）. Re.urre.ce.was de.e.te. in 1 patie.t at 6 month follow-up. We.ne.＇s score.showe. significant improve.e.t for all patie.ts afte. 6 months （4.00±2.04）. In conclusion, combination of De.orme.s proce.ure.and sphincte.oplasty for tre.tme.t of patie.ts with short comple.e.re.tal prolapse.associate. with traumatic fe.al incontine.ce.is a safe. e.fe.tive.surgical manage.e.t with satisfactory re.ults re.arding anatomical and functional outcome..
