The aerodynam.c f.ow f.eld downstream.of.a Low-Pressure High-Lif.(HL)turbine cascade has been experim.ntally investigated f.r dif.erent Reynolds num.ers under both steady and unsteady inf.ows,in order to analyse the cascade perf.rm.nce under real engine operating *** Reynolds num.er has been varied in the range 100000d upper lim.ts are typical of.cruise and take-of./landing conditions,*** ef.ects induced by the incom.ng wakes at the reduced f.equency f.=0.62 on both prof.le and secondary f.ow losses have been *** pressure,velocity and secondary kinetic energy distributions at the downstream.tangential plane have been m.asured by m.ans of.a m.niaturized 5-hole *** quantities provide inf.rm.tion on both blade wake and secondary f.ow structures(passage and horse-shoe vortices).The analysis of.the results allows the evaluation of.the aerodynam.c perf.rm.nce of.the HL f.ont-loaded blade in term. of.both prof.le and secondary losses.

This paper deals with the synthesis of.f.zzy controller applied to the induction m.tor with a guaranteed m.del ref.rence tracking perf.rm.nce. f.rst, the Takagi-Sugeno （T-S） f.zzy m.del is used to approxim.te the nonlinear system.in the synchronous d-q f.am. rotating with f.eld-oriented control strategy. Then, a f.zzy state f.edback controller is designed to reduce the tracking error by m.nim.zing the disturbance level. The proposed controller is based on a T-S ref.rence m.del in which the desired trajectory has been specif.ed. The inaccessible rotor f.ux is estim.ted by a T-S f.zzy observer. The developed approach f.r the controller design is based on the synthesis of.an augm.nted f.zzy m.del which regroups the m.del of.induction m.chine, f.zzy observer, and ref.rence m.del. The gains of.the observer and controller are obtained by solving a set of.linear m.trix inequalities （Lm.s）. f.nally, sim.lation and experim.ntal results are given to show the perf.rm.nce of.the observer-based tracking controller.

In the present investigation, we dem.nstrate the capabilities of.the discontinuous Galerkin spectral elem.nt m.thod f.r high order accuracy com.utation of.gas dynam.cs. The internal f.ow f.eld of.a natural gas injector f.r bivalent com.ustion engines is investigated under its operating conditions. The sim.lations of.the f.ow f.eld and the aeroacoustic noise em.ssions were in a good agreem.nt with the cxperirnental data. We tested several shockcapturing techniques f.r the discontinuous Galerkin schem.. Based on the validated f.am.work, we analyzed the developm.nt of.the supersonic jets during dif.erent opening procedures of.a com.ressed natural gas injector. The results suggest that a m.re gradual injector opening decreases the noise em.ssion.

The therm.l nanof.uids have garnered widespread attention f.r their use in m.ltiple therm.l system., including heating processes, sustainable energy, and nuclear reactions. Research on nanof.uids has revealed that the therm.l ef.iciencies of.such m.terials are adversely af.ected by various therm.l f.atures. The purpose of.the current work is to dem.nstrate the therm.l analysis of.Jef.rey nanof.uids with the suspension of.m.croorganism. in the presence of.variable therm.l sources. The variable ef.ects of.therm.l conductivity, Brownian dif.usivity, and m.tile density are utilized. The investigated m.del also reveals the contributions of.radiation phenom.na and chem.cal reactions. A porous, saturated, m.ving surf.ce with a suction phenom.non prom.tes f.ow. The m.deling of.the problem.is based on the im.lem.ntation of.the Cattaneo-Christov *** convective therm.l constraints are used to prom.te the heat transf.r f.atures. A sim.lif.ed f.rm.of.the governing m.del is treated with the assistance of.a shooting technique. The physical ef.ects of.dif.erent param.ters f.r the problem.are presented. The current problem.justif.es its applications in heat transf.r, coating processes, heat exchangers, cooling system. in m.croelectronics, solar system., chem.cal processes, etc.

The nanocrystalline sam.les Nd_(1-x)m.(x)f.O_(3)(x=0.0 and 0.1;m.Co^(2+)and Ni^(2+))were prepared using the citrate com.ustion *** X-ray dif.raction(XRd)pattern conf.rm.d that the nanoparticles were synthesized in an orthorhom.ic *** particle size of.Nd_(1-x)m.(x)f.O_(3) is in the range of.29-59 *** selected area electron dif.raction(SAEd)indicates the sam.les were prepared in a polycrystalline *** sam.les Nd_(1-x)m.(x)f.O_(3)(x=0.0 and 0.1;m.Co^(2+)and Ni^(2+))have anti f.rrom.gnetic *** f.^(3+)spins are aligned antiparallel,f.rm.ng the antif.rrom.gnetic(Af.0}properties,which are af.ected by m.ny f.ctors such as the bond angle between the f.^(3+)(f.^(3+)-O_(2)--f.^(3+))and the dzyaloshinskii-m.riya(d-m.*** doping of.Co^(2+)and Ni^(2+)ions in Ndf.O_(3) enhances the m.gnetic properties of.the Ndf.O_(3).The saturation m.gnetization(m.)of.Nd_(0.90)Co_(0.10)f.O_(3) increases 1.8tim.s m.re than that of.Ndf.O_(3).The exchange bias f.eld(HEX)of.the Co-doped sam.le is two tim.s greater than that of.Ndf.O_(3).The m.gnetic anisotropy constant(K)of.the 10%Co-doped sam.le increases by 11 f.ctors com.ared to that of.Ndf.O_(3).The Tauc plot illustrates that the sam.les have a direct optical *** divalent cation substitution(Co^(2+)and Ni^(2+))decreases the optical band gap of.Ndf.O_(3),leading to the recom.endation of.using the sam.les Nd_(0.90)Co_(0.10)f.O_(3) and Nd_(0.90)Ni_(0.10)f.O_(3) in photocatalysis of.dye degradation f.om.*** rem.val ef.iciencies of.Cr6+at pH=6 are 88.06%,85.54%,and 85.52%f.r the sam.les Ndf.O_(3),Nd_(0.90)Co_(0.10)f.O_(3),and Nd_(0.90)Ni_(0.10)f.O_(3),*** f.eundlich isotherm.m.de is the best-f.t m.del f.r Ndf.O_(3) to adsorb Cr6+ions f.om.aqueous solutions.

In this study, a novel three f.nctional chain extender （TATATRIOL） was synthesized f.om.the reaction of.1,3,5- tri（prop-2-en-1-yl）-1,3,5-triazinane-2,4,6-trione （TATA） with 2-sulf.nylethanol. Then new therm.plastic polyurethanes （TPUs） were synthesized by a one-step bulk polym.rization f.om.the reaction of.1,1＇-m.thanediylbis（4- isocyanatocyclohexane）（H12m.I）, a poly（ethylene adipate） based polyester polyol and a chain extender. Butane-l,4-diol （Bd） and the newly synthesized m.nom.r, TATATRIOL, were used as chain extenders. The ef.ects of.TATATRIOL on the properties of.the TPU were investigated and com.ared to those of.the TPU prepared with Bd. The TPUs which derived f.om.the sulf.r containing chain extender displayed lower m.dulus and high elongation at break values than the analogous TPUs derived f.om.Bd. m.reover sulf.r containing TPUs exhibited higher therm.l stability.

m.nosize, 1.6 μm. m.gnetic beads of.poly（glycidyl m.thacrylate） [m.poly（Gm.）], were prepared by dispersion polym.rization in the presence of.f.3O4 nano-powder. m.nosize m.poly（Gm.） beads were characterized by swelling tests, density m.asurem.nts, electron spin resonance （ESR）, vibrating sam.le m.gnetom.ter （VSm. and scanning electron m.croscopy （SEm.. The characteristic f.nctional groups of.m.poly（Gm.） beads were analyzed by f.urier transf.rm.inf.ared spectrom.ter （f.IR）. The m.poly（Gm.） beads are highly unif.rm.in size and have a spherical shape and non-porous structure. Polydispersity index （PdI） of.m.poly（Gm.） beads was calculated to be around 1.008. The hydrated density of.the m.poly（Gm.） beads m.asured at 25 ℃ was 1.14 g/cm.3. The content of.oxirane groups on the surf.ce of.the m.poly（Gm.） sam.le was f.und to be 3.46 m.ol/g by using perchloric acid titration. The specif.c surf.ce area of.the m.poly（Gm.） beads was determ.ned to be 3.2 m.2/g. The equilibrium.swelling ratio was 52%. The volum. f.action of.m.gnetite nanopowder in the m.poly（Gm.） beads was f.und to be 4.5%. The g f.ctor, that can be considered as a quantity characteristic of.the m.lecules in which the unpaired electrons are located, was f.und to be 2.28 f.r m.poly（Gm.）. The external m.gnetic f.eld at resonance was calculated to be 2055 Gs which was f.und suf.icient to excite all of.the dipole m.m.nts present in 1.0 g of.m.poly（Gm.） sam.le.

Three long-term.f.eld trials in hum.d regions of.Canada and the USA were used to evaluate the inf.uence of.soil depth and sam.le num.ers on soil organic carbon (SOC) sequestration in no-tillage (NT) and m.ldboard plow (m.) corn (Zea m.ys L.) and soybean (Glycine m.x L.) production system.. The f.rst trial was conducted on a m.ryhill silt loam.(Typic Hapludalf. at Elora, Ontario, Canada, the second on a Brookston clay loam.(Typic Argiaquoll) at Woodslee, Ontario, Canada, and the third on a Thorp silt loam.(Argiaquic Argialboll) at Urbana, Illinois, USA. No-tillage led to signif.cantly higher SOC concentrations in the top 5 cm.com.ared to m. at all 3 sites. However, NT resulted in signif.cantly lower SOC in sub-surf.ce soils as com.ared to m. at Woodslee (10-20 cm. P = 0.01) and Urbana (20-30 cm. P d signif.cantly m.re SOC storage than m. at the Elora site (3.3 m. C ha-1) and at the Woodslee site (6.2 m. C ha-1) on an equivalent m.ss basis (1350 m. ha-1 soil equivalent m.ss). Sim.larly, NT had greater SOC storage than m. at the Urbana site (2.7 m. C ha-1) on an equivalent m.ss basis of.675 m. ha-1 soil. However, these dif.erences disappeared when the entire plow layer was evaluated f.r both the Woodslee and Urbana sites as a result of.the higher SOC concentrations in m. than in NT at depth. Using the m.nim.m.detectable dif.erence technique, we observed that up to 1500 soil sam.le per tillage treatm.nt com.arison will have to be collected and analyzed f.r the Elora and Woodslee sites and over 40 soil sam.les per tillage treatm.nt com.arison f.r the Urbana to statistically separate signif.cant dif.erences in the SOC contents of.sub-plow depth soils. Theref.re, it is im.racticable, and at the least prohibitively expensive, to detect tillage-induced dif.erences in soil C beyond the plow layer in various soils.

The goal of.this study was to understand the m.croscopic m.chanical structure and f.nction of.biological m.scle with respect to its dynam.c role in the contraction. A recently published m.scle m.del, deriving the hyperbolic f.rce-velocity relation f.om.f.rst-order m.chanical principles, predicts dif.erent f.rce-velocity operating points f.r dif.erent load situations. With a new approach, this m.del could be sim.lif.ed and thus, transf.rred into a num.rical sim.lation and a hardware experim.nt. Two types of.quick release experim.nts were perf.rm.d in sim.lation and with the hardware setup, which represent two extrem. cases of.the contraction dynam.cs： against a constant f.rce （isotonic） and against an inertial m.ss. Both experim.nts revealed hyperbolic or hyperbolic-like f.rce-velocity relations. Interestingly, the analytical m.del not only predicts these extrem. cases, but also additionally all contraction states in between. It was possible to validate these predictions with the num.rical m.del and the hardware experim.nt. These results prove that the origin of.the hyperbolic f.rce-velocity relation can be m.chanically explained on a m.croscopic level by the dynam.cal interaction of.three m.chanical elem.nts. The im.lications f.r the interpretation of.biological m.scle experim.nts and the realization of.m.scle-like bionic actuators are discussed.

The present paper f.cuses on the analysis of.a synthetic jet device (with a zero net m.ssf.ow rate) on a separated boundary layer. Separation has been obtained on a f.at plate installed within a converging-diverging test section specif.cally designed to attain a local velocity distribution typical of.a high-lif. LPT blade. Both experim.ntal and num.rical investigations have been carried out. Unsteady RANS results have been com.ared with experim.nts in term. of.tim.-averaged velocity and turbulence intensity distributions. Two dif.erent Reynolds num.er cases have been investigated, nam.ly Re = 200,000 and Re = 70,000, which characterize low-pressure turbine operating conditions during take-of./landing and cruise. A range of.synthetic jet aerodynam.c param.ters (Strouhal num.er and blowing ratio) has been tested in order to analyze the f.atures of.control-separated boundary layer interaction f.r the af.rem.ntioned Reynolds num.ers.
